What Customers Say
“SCAM!!! DO NOT USE BRIGHT EARTH!!! They have a salesman named Quincy Jones (“Q”) who preys on new homeowners. He will say whatever he needs to just to get you to sign so he can collect his commission. After reviewing the proposal and estimated savings, I clearly told Quincy I did NOT want solar if I was still going to have an electric bill. He then offered me an “offset agreement,” claiming it would cover whatever remaining balance the solar didn’t, minus delivery fees. He also pressured me by saying I only had 3 days to decide before the deal was gone. I agreed, but made it clear that I did NOT want installation to begin until the offset agreement was signed. He sent the agreement through DocuSign, and at a glance, it appeared to match what we discussed. It stated the offset would begin 6 months after installation. Fast forward 6 months: I’m now paying for the solar panels AND still stuck with a very large electric bill. I reached out to Quincy, no real response. Followed up again weeks later, still “looking into it.” Eventually, he told me to STOP paying on the panels and said he would file a claim on my behalf, claiming there’s a program for people scammed by solar compani”
“I’m very satisfied with the work done. My salesman made multiple visits to our house to meet our needs. He was not pushy and simply explained how solar works, our savings and offered finance pricing that was so competitive that the solar sold itself. Would definitely recommend. Thank you sunny”
“I initially reached out to this solar company based on some of the reviews I saw, but my experience was disappointing. While the salesperson was friendly at first, it quickly became clear that their equipment was subpar and didn’t meet industry standards. Their warranties were also far below what other reputable companies provide, which raised some serious concerns for me. After comparing quotes, I found much better options with higher-quality equipment and more comprehensive warranties. On top of that, they used high-pressure tactics to try and get me to sign the same day by offering a financial incentive, which felt more like a red flag than a benefit. One thing I found particularly interesting was their abundance of five-star reviews. Some of the names looked questionable to me, so out of curiosity, I Googled a few of them. In several cases, I couldn’t find any information about these individuals, which made me wonder about the authenticity of those reviews. Of course, this is just my personal opinion, but it’s worth noting. If you’re considering this company, I strongly recommend reviewing the contract carefully, doing thorough research, and comparing their offer to more est”
“I was very satisfied when I first approached this company, especially looking at the reviews. I anticipated a motivated, fun, outgoing and knowledgeable sales person along with great installation. However I don’t know what has changed, because my experience was far from the reviews. It started out fruitful; smiles and good conversation but however it soon became aware that was all a facade, it was all smoke and mirrors. Very quickly turned into the stereotypical bad sales; with things like irritable and outward frustration toward questions and lying about tax credits, and more. It would be my current recommendation to go somewhere else.”
“Bright Earth my houses solar project & he helped guide me through the process from beginning to end. You can tell they care about the customer by their communication which I've heard horror stories about with other companies! 5 stars all the way!!”
“I initially received a quote from a solar company that I didn’t know much about, and I thought it was a good deal. However, after getting quotes from more established companies, I found that their prices were at least $50–$100 less per month. Multiple companies also explained that the panels this company uses are not tier-one quality. The whole process seemed a bit sketchy. I won’t name the company I went with, as I believe that would be inappropriate, but they are a nationwide company that has been in business for over 10 years. My advice is to go with a company that is more established. This company also offered me $3,500 if I signed the same day, which added to my concerns.”
“If your thinking about solar quit searching because this is the absolute best company out there. They will treat you like family, the process was super simple, and they gave me one heck of a deal! I cannot say enough good things about Bright Earth Solar!!! Def recommend giving them a call!”
“I want to start by saying the sales representative I worked with was professional, friendly, and seemed very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, and it was obvious he believed in the product he was selling. However, I felt a little pressured to make a decision on the spot, so I asked him to send me the contract to review on my own. Once I had the contract, I had my lawyer review it, and that’s when some flags came up. Here’s what I learned: 1. The Warranties Aren’t What They Seem: The sales rep told me everything was covered for 25 years bumper-to-bumper. However, that’s not what’s in the contract. The actual warranties are much more limited: • The workmanship warranty only lasts 10 years. • The roof penetration warranty is just 5 years. • The panels themselves have a 25-year performance warranty, but that only applies to the panels, not the rest of the system or labor. This means if the company goes out of business, which is a real concern since they’ve only been around for two years then those warranties would be meaningless. The contract is legally binding, so no matter what the rep said, the contract’s terms are what matter. 2. Panel Quality: They u”
“Awesome work done from start till end. Beginning with company's representative Numira, who has tremendous knowledge of the whole product and on our request had multiple sessions to answer all our queries satisfactorily. The product was delivered and installed well with in time as promised. A very seamless process from start till end. Thank you so much to the whole team for the job very well done.”
“I had been researching getting solar for the last two yrs bc Tx is warm 3/4ths of the yr and energy costs are pretty high for my 2 story 2600 sq ft property year round. After researching on my own, I contacted a few solar companies to meet with before i heard of Bright Earth Solar. I declined to do business with these other companies bc either they couldn't answer my questions or weren't even as well informed as I was, and I wasn't even the one selling solar. Also, I couldn't help but feel, call it my "gut" instinct, that at the end of the conversation all these other companies wanted was a "sale". I postponed for about four months until I found Bright Earth Solar, mentioned to me by one of my best friends who has used them, and was very satisfied with this company and their product. I had many questions, so I called, and they insisted that they meet w/ me vis a vis at a place of my descretion at my timing convenience. Once I met with them I didnt feel any pressure, they answered all of my questions with data that they could either back up or confirm. Even after I decided that I wanted to purchase solar from them they advised that I take a few days or even a week to fully contempla”
