What Customers Say
“I am so happy with the service Peg Energy has provided at my home. Their excellent customer service made me feel comfortable in moving forward with solar panels. The staff guided me step by step to set up the app on my phone. I highly recommend them to all my family and friends. It’s been one of the best decisions I’ve made.”
“This is the WORST company I have ever dealt with. Susie is the worst contact person to deal with. Her customer service is below poor. My system hasnt worked 7 months out of going on 2 years. She never returns our calls when we need answers and yet bothered when I am obviously mad that O am paying full light bill and the system monthly. This summer and last we went with a broken system and having to fight with the battery company to get my replacement. Once they company approved it they shipped it to PEG. They signed for it and never called me to let me know they have it. I had to call the battery company to figure it out and then text Susie you have the part and still they have had it going on 4 weeks and after a continuous conversation this morning and blasting them all over social media they called my husband and said we will be there Tuesday which marks almost to the month since they sat on my part that could have saved me a month of paying full light bill and the panels bill. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THEM! YOU WILL WASTE SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY!!”
“I signed a contract with PEG in May 2023 to install 20 solar panels on my brand new home in San Antonio. My experience has been nothing short of atrocious. Their crew damaged my metal roof, gutters, and almost all of the solar panels while working the install. They dragged all of the panels (sun-side-down) up a ladder to get them on the roof, and then dragged them across the roof, leaving very visible scratches on both the panels and my roof. At the same time, their lackadaisical ladder placement left significant scratches and indentations on my gutters. The attached pictures show the scratches on the roof, the partially-completed nature of the job, and the scratching done to the solar panels. PEG acknowledged the damage but thus far has done little to fix it other than remove the damaged solar panels with an expectation of finishing the job at some point. They have thus far refused to allow me to simply exit the contract and receive a refund. They have been somewhat responsive to my communications, but progress has been very slow and I can never get a clear answer about what exactly they are going to do to resolve the situation. Financially, they have received over $11,00”
“Everyone at PEG is fantastic. The whole experience was fast, easy, and painless. They will treat you with honesty and respect. My system generated over 2250 kWh in the first month, a bit more than predicted.”
“Sales team and Project Managers were indeed a great help in competition of my project. Good company to work with and provide various options to fit your home or business. Only been about a week of full installation but so far so good all working well, keep up the good work.”
“So far it’s been great dealing with PEG Energy personnel. They are super helpful and are there for any questions you might have. Love my Solar panel setup.”

“Carlos is very responsive to questions/concerns no matter time of day. If he doesn’t have the answer, he’ll get someone who does. Great customer service skills! Highly recommend Carlos as your sales representative. - John & Linda Gomez.”
“I want to highlight my experience so far with this company, local to where I live (with this, you would think it would be faster to get the installation done) I'd like to say that Mr. Lira did a fantastic job in July. All questions were answered, and he went above and beyond to get us started with the process. Kudos to Mr. Lira. That being said, the rest of the process has been an unprofessional nightmare. I'm not sure who the project manager is, and to this day, I still don’t know who it is, but there is very little communication with said person. The solar pergola welding team that installed the metal beams left a mess in our property, with items scattered throughout the yard and bottles littered everywhere. And then here comes the worst part of the unfinished project so far. The solar panels have been sitting, not producing any energy for my house, for almost 2 months. On September 8th, techs were scheduled to install one inverter. On Monday, I got a text that they could not make it. Which is reasonable when asked when the next scheduled time they would come, they said, “Let me check with Scheduling”. I didn’t get a response at all. I had to request an update on the 11th, to whi”
“Their response is totally incorrect and they were provided with the necessary information regarding city inspections on September 9th. The charger was installed Sept 23rd and PEG was provided with the city’s Waiver for Inspection to AEP. And I would like to see the installers proof of certification! This has been a very challenging and frustrating experience. There is very little communication w PEG. Calls and messages are not returned. The crew that showed up to install my EV charger were not licensed electricians. They did not turn on the power to my charger. There was a language barrier which led them having to their supervisor to answer our questions. The individual on the phone was not familiar with the next steps. Instead of having a licensed electrician on site to inspect the installation I now have to wait another week before having the power to the EV charger. Instead no way would I recommend anyone doing business with PEG! Hi P Connor, We’re sorry for the frustration. The charger was installed two days ago, but it hasn’t been turned on yet because it needs to pass the city inspection first - we’re actively coordinating with the city on the date. Since you inquired thr”
“Just had my roof shingles replaced. The crew did an excellent job . The work was done very efficient and great customer service. I highly recommended!!!”
“I want to thank the PEG Energy crew... extremely time efficient (even through these difficult times). A huge thanks to Mr. Cadena for being so professional and thorough with explaining details of the process. I'm extremely satisfied with the service. I would highly recommend PEG Energy.”
“100% professional from planning through installation. I couldn’t be more impressed with the entire process. I was kept 100% in the loop throughout the whole project. Highly recommended! My first bill dropped a huge amount!”
“Bill came in extremely high so I called PEG energy and was told that our panels only produced $1 worth of energy for that month. I asked why, they then said they’ll need to check into it. When I asked why didn’t they notice they said they have too many clients and it’s impossible for them to know unless we notify them. Why don’t they have a system that notifies them that one of their clients panels is down and not working? Also, the lady who answered said for me to send her the bill so she can review but stopped responding once I sent it to her, so now I need to follow up again on Monday. I honestly do not recommend them & they genuinely need to focus on their customer service. Personally wish we wouldn’t have made this purchase . Not worth the “savings”, at least for us.”
“I bought solar panels from PEG energy because of a recommendation, yet all I have experienced is the run around. I bought a battery for my solar panels almost two years ago and according to PEG energy it’s on back order. I was never told that the battery wasn’t installed nor was I told that it was on back order until an indefinite time. Don’t do business with these people! Their technicians left holes in my home that were unnecessary. I was promised a cash from Richard, their general manager, two months ago and I still haven’t heard from him. Very unprofessional and unethical company.”
“Called over 1 month ago to report a non-working panel. Had immense difficulty initially getting ahold of someone to report, reception sent me to voicemail and when I called back requesting to speak to someone in person, the representative asked someone beside them who said, "I'm busy," but was told a work order was being placed for my property, 1 month later, called to inquire as to the status of my appointment, meanwhile being charged for not only my panels but KW usage from my light company. Extremely rude, told they very busy and would get to me in the order of my appointment. Biggest regret of my life going to PEG. I have leaks in my roof after the installation of the panels that I never had before and my light bill in combination with my solar panel financing is the same as what a light bill without the panels would have been, more so because at least with a light company I could have received a free night and weekend bundle or other beneficial deal! They are rude and unreceptive now that I am legally obligated to fulfill my 20 year financial obligation. Would not recommend them to anyone!”
“I do therapy here and the building is pretty clean and cool.”
“Excellent service, my experience with PEG Energy was smooth. Mr Emilio Ortega addressed all my questions and concerns in a prompt manner. All concerns incurred during the solar panel installation process were addressed and resolved. Overall, great experience, would definitely recommend. Since the beginning, he was able to direct me to the correct information and educate me on the solar panel system. Installation was done as scheduled previously and concerns during this process were addressed. Granted, there were some issues after installation where appointments were set and no technician showed up. However, this was addressed and resolved in a timely manner. Even months after the solar panel system was set, they are attentive to answer and respond to any questions their customers might have. All in all, very pleased to have chosen PEG Energy for my solar panel system purchase.”
“Juan was amazing, he took the time looking for the best price and best options for my energy needs, however after signing there was a bit of lack of communication with the first project manager, at the end they assigned a new project manager Susy she was amazing. They promised the system was going to be completely installed on 6 months and was completed on 5 😀, the system is producing what was offered. They did a great job. I highly recommend them, their price is super competitive and after the installation the response is fast if you’re having issues with the system.”
“I DO NOT RECOMMEND PEG Energy for adding solar and/or a home battery to your home. They underestimated the time it would take to complete the solar system installation and Tesla Home Battery by over a year, and their customer service has been subpar. Their services' value doesn't match most of their reviews online. Also, we are now paying on a solar loan, which they are supposed to pay per our contract with PEG Energy until the installation is completed. Installation has not been completed, and we are currently paying for an incomplete system. They continue not to return my calls and messages. The contract also includes monitoring, inspections, and cleaning of the installed solar system. However, they have not sent anyone to inspect, maintain, or clean the system in the past year. They have yet to answer and respond to my calls and messages. They keep forwarding me to voicemail. The attached photos show poor craftsmanship in the pergola that their installers installed in my backyard to mount the solar panels. The initial installation failed city inspections on four different occasions. The other attached images show the Tesla Home Battery, which is still not wired into the sola”
