“We called NXT after purchasing our home in May of this year. There were a few major projects we wanted to tackle to make the house really feel like our own. First, we wanted to remove some barn doors that we weren’t in love with and replace them with black French doors. We also wanted to add wainscoting and paint our daughter’s nursery. We wanted to reface our 14-foot fireplace with limestone, which involved demoing the existing tile and drywall. On top of that, we replaced all of the hardware, plumbing fixtures, and lighting throughout the house, including adding beautiful chandeliers (not pictured). We had three GCs come out to evaluate the projects. One never got back to us despite repeated follow-ups, and another was outrageously expensive and difficult to communicate with. Courtney and his team completely stood out from the pack. They were communicative throughout the entire process, their pricing was very fair, and most importantly, the quality of their work was exceptional. From the very beginning, Courtney took the time to walk me through each project and explain everything clearly. He and his wife, Jessica, were also incredibly considerate of our baby’s schedule and wor”

“Buyer beware! I had approximately 805sqft of tile put in my home and agreed to $8/sqft. I received 2 separate invoices on 4/4 and 4/24 showing $8/sqft. Once the tile was completed and we noticed a 12k fee for painting approximately 80% of my 2400 sqft home, we felt it appropriate to shop for other bids. No paint work nor prep were done and we were about a week from painting. Around 5/6/2026 I received an updated quote showing $13/sqft. for the tile labor (I bought all tile). When I asked about the discrepancy, the owner, Courtney stated, “I was supposed to make money on the paint and since we might not be doing the paint, I need to increase the cost of the tile”. The owner Courtney made a unilateral change in the price per square foot that was never agreed upon nor signed for. Thankfully I have all invoices in writing but be careful with this GC. Very good sub-contractors but will attempt to change pricing after the work is complete. This was over a $4,000 increase. I even told him I would meet past the middle and pay approximately $11.60-11.70/sqft. He became very frustrated, stated I couldn’t understand English (my only language - I certainly understand math) and stated he’d p”

“We hired Courtney and his crew to install a gas fireplace and we are so very pleased with the outcome. I didn’t have specifics, but told Courtney and Jessica what I wanted and they made it all happen. Chris was excellent in the fine details to completion. The wall was a blank wall with a tv and it does not look like an addition!”

“Had NXT out to handle some stucco repair work on our home — bottom-of-wall termination issues with some deteriorated casing around the garage door. They scoped it correctly (including calling out the weep screed detail, not just patching over it), showed up when they said they would, and the texture match came out clean. Easy to work with from estimate to completion. Would hire again for exterior work.”
