Im waiting around for my appointment that was scheduled for after 12 6/4 but I haven't heard from anyone so I called the office. The lady proceeds to tell me that the warranty company was notified that they don't service my area in Baytown. If you don't service my area why would you schedule an appointment ? You should have notified me of that when I called and you scheduled the appointment.”

I explained the problem: my 40-amp Tesla breaker overheats. He opened the panel, and I pointed out the breaker. Before inspecting anything, he announced a $169 troubleshooting fee and said I needed a 50-amp breaker to be installed which will be a $800.I also mentioned that my fryer overheats a different breaker. He replied, “You’re pulling too much power,” I asked if it could be a grounding issue for Tesla breaker overheats. He said he wasn’t sure, but replacing grounds would cost $499 each—and Sugar Land requires two, so $998 total.The next day, I called the office and asked: “What does ‘free estimate’ mean to you?” The lady said: “It’s free if the technician sees the issue right away.” I told her I had already explained the problem, yet he immediately pulled out his tablet to charge me.This company should NOT advertise “FREE ESTIMATE.” They charged me just to show up, never diagnosed the root cause (grounding? loose wires? bad breaker?)”

“Giving a 3 because I’m happy with the work that was done, however your company doesn’t seem to have any consistent pricing. Back in November 2023 one of your technicians quoted me a price to have a home surge protector installed and I thought the price was way too high. Another technician from your company came out to my house today and quoted me a price less than HALF of what the previous technician quoted. Although the price was better, I can’t help but wonder if that was fair or not. It seems like your techs are allowed to quote whatever they want and that’s just not right.”

I read the reviews of Allsource Electrical and felt they were a reputable company and provided a great service. A very respectful young man gave me an estimate for the install. We agreed on the price and I signed and approved the estimate. We scheduled the same week but had to postpone one week due to illness. We rescheduled and when the electrian showed up, he stated the estimated price had changed and was now 4 times more to install the lights. He explained he made a mistake entering the work to be performed, but he could try to negotiate on our behalf to get a better deal. He came back with a reduced price, but still was twice as much as the original quote. I was disappointed that I rescheduled my day that affected others when they could have notified me about the increase and their error. I felt the experience was similar to buying a car that the salesman had to reach out to his supervisor for a better deal to offer me. Very disappointed.”
