BlackCat Solar Inc

BlackCat Solar Inc handles solar work out of Mooresville. Alex and Brad run the outfit and their crews take on full system installs, repairs on existing setups, and help getting systems into the Duke Energy PowerPair program. Reviewers mention the team stepping in after other companies left jobs half done or messed up the wiring. They also handle quotes, roof walks to show how panels connect, and straightforward talks about whether solar fits a house at all.

Customers describe jobs like fixing inverters that stopped working, restoring power after a prior installer went under, and completing partial installs that had been stalled for months. One crew with Ryan, Juan and Crusher showed up for a repair and answered questions on the spot without rushing. Another case had the team sizing a system right for a townhouse and walking the owner through every step so the PowerPair enrollment went smooth. Several reviews note the same pattern of taking over botched work from bigger outfits and finishing it without extra headaches.

The crews start early, often right at eight in the morning, and keep the site clean with no leftover mess or loud talk. Alex stays in touch during longer jobs, sending updates even when parts take time to arrive. Brad and the sales side answer questions on Zoom or in person, lay out product details without pressure, and give honest reads on whether a project makes sense. Reviewers point out fair pricing, respectful handling around family members, and regular communication from start to finish.

BlackCat Solar carries a 5 rating across thirty reviews on Google. The same points come up again and again: crews that know their work, clear explanations, and reliable follow-through on both new installs and fixes. DIRT Score 4.5 from 30 reviews on Finds.
