“Turns out Monarch Solar does not even exist anymore, who knew?. I had Monarch roofing and Solar install Solar. I went with a local company that assured me they would be around. My solar went down a week ago, called the number from my app, the number at this site. I got no answer, so I called Monarch roofing. They told me they had changed ownership and the new company did not pick up Monarch Solar. They reached out to a guy who supposedly has Monarchs business. It took several tries by me then several tries by the people at Monarch roofing to reach the guy Named Aaron. He called back after a few days and said that it would be 350.00 to come and diagnose my solar issue. stupid me I thought the system was still under warranty. The system is only a year and a half old... So I tried to go local, not a fly by night. Yip! I got a fly by night, thanks Monarch. Update! had Mr Sparky look at it and they said circuit breaker wire burned up. They said installer did not tighten wire! There went 475.00 to something done wrong that should have been covered under warranty.”

The office manager, Yulia, was able to set up a consultation with George within days of contacting Monarch Solar. George helped us determine the size of system that was right for us and set up financing. We are very satisfied with our 12kw system. It took a couple months from the time we signed a contract for the materials to arrive and get us on the schedule, but installation went smoothly and was very professional. Nathan and his crew were great about picking up roofing nails from the driveway and yard. “My husband and I met with Monarch at the home show. We’ve been interested in solar for a while, and since we are in a new house here. The time seemed right. They showed us their equipment, explained the process and the incentives available. We scheduled a follow up appointment to figure out the system best for us. During the visit, Tre took pictures of our roof and reviewed our electric bill to figure out how to size our system. He worked with our HOA for approval. Upon approval, Tre started the process of working with Santee Cooper to handle the financials and make sure we received all the incentives we were due and to set up financing via our Santee Cooper bill. He also handled the application for all of the permits and inspection process. When all was approved, Tre scheduled installation, a full month earlier than we expected. Rob, the boss, arrived before the crew and introduced them to us. He also did a preview for the electricians who were scheduled the next day, climbing through our attic space on a very hot day! “Monarch did an exceptional job of installing a Sun Tunnel in my master bath. It is solar and produces great light in the bathroom and bedroom. The Tunnel also includes an exhaust fan within the tunnel which is exceptionally quiet and effective. Jeremy did the installation with perfection. He was very professional and a perfectionist. The installation was seamless and Jeremy totally cleaned the entire area upon completion.
