“I was extremely pleased with my experience with Alder Energy. Not new to Solar energy having designed and built a home in 1979 with an active and passive solar system, I am somewhat familiar with the concept. We first met with Benny Mosiman as the rep from Alder. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the concept and the products being offered. He was able to answer all of my questions with ease. The installation of the panels was completed as promised and with the highest degree of professionalism. The installation was clean with no wires or conduits visible. The performance of the panels surpasses what I expected. We are on our way to generating more than 8MWh after almost a year of use. Benny has provided excellent follow up and stays in touch with us. “Benny and his team of talented folks at Alder Solar Energy worked with us from August 2019-January 2020 to get a 5000+kW system up and running on our residential property in GA. We had obtained estimates from 4 companies and extensively reviewed proposals, products, warranties from all. Although Alder's proposal was slightly more than the lowest bid we received, we felt that their responsiveness, previous work history, knowledge of the system and various available products, and integrity were critical in deciding to work with them. “Great experience with Alder Energy- My wife and I received quotes from several companies over the course of 2 years. Alder stood above the others. Our salesman, Benny, was knowledgeable and passionate about solar and not pushy like the others. Our panels have been live for about 4 months and our production has exceeded the proposed numbers each month. THIS IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT, as some of the other companies were a bit overzealous with their estimates. The installation was seamless… The install coordinator provided frequent updates on the permitting process and the install was quick and professional. The conduit was not wrapped over the edge of the roof (like may of the big box companies). Alder has been readily available for any follow-up questions and continue to check in on our production. The Alder Rep we worked with was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and did I mention patient! I can't say enough good about all the people we have interacted with in this company! “I worked primarily with Benny for the design and install. He was very professional and always willing to discuss my questions. They did the initial assessment and drawings in Oct timeframe and my panels were installed in March. They were inspected and turned on quickly, though they told me that these times vary depending on the power company and demand. The panels are performing within 5% of the estimates I was given. They provided an online monitoring system as well so that I can see real time data about how the panels are performing. Overall I'm very satisfied.”

“VERY happy with our solar system and service we got from Alder Energy. I got quotes from several other companies, and one was priced pretty much the same as Alder, but none went the extra mile up front to ensure they were giving us an accurate picture of how many panels would fit on our roof. The other companies used Google Earth exclusively to estimate the size system we'd need. But Benny from Alder went up in the attic with a tape measure and essentially mapped out how the installation would work *before* writing up an estimate (which ended up being spot on of course). One other company underestimated the amount of panels that could fit on our roof (based on the Earth images, of course) , and subsequently tried to sell me on putting them on the front of my house (something our HOA forbids). He even talked about how they had lawyers that could force the HOA to allow it, which I really didn't care for. On the other hand, Benny was able to maximize the space on our roof without adding panels on sections of our roof that wouldn't provide efficient energy production (as opposed the layouts in the other guys' proposals). “One of the best experiences I have ever had. Alder Energy was extremely professional throughout the whole process. My initial contact was with Don Zimmerman and he had his representative contact me within just a few hours to set up a face-to-face meeting at my house. His rep, Brian, had already prepared a proposal on possible placement of many different panel arrangements. We decided on the capacity we desired and started the paperwork. When the installation crew, led by Josh, arrived they were more than courteous and very efficient. This fine group completely installed my 47 panel system in two days even in heavy rain at times. They left not even one piece of trash in my home or yard. Actually the only way anyone could tell they had been there was the presence of the panels and the inverter on my house. I cannot imagine any company that can exceed the levels of Alder Energy regarding solar systems. I have seen other installations by other companies in the local area and Alder beats them easily in everything visible to me. “Alder Energy Systems is the only Solar Company to use in South Carolina. We chose another local installer who went out of business after a couple of years. We had issues with wiring and optimizers and couldn't turn to the company that sold us the system. I called Benny Mosiman from Alder and he was extremely helpful with getting the issue resolved. He was communicating with us through the entire process, often calling, emailing, and texting after normal business hours to help us. There's a lot of work involved for a new company to take over the account of the original installer. Anyway, this man went above and beyond the call of duty.
