What Customers Say

“I wasn’t very familiar with solar systems before, but they made the entire process easy to understand. They broke everything down in simple terms without overwhelming technical details. Installation took around two days, and the team worked efficiently. There was a slight delay in connecting the system to the grid, but they kept me informed throughout. After everything was activated, I started tracking usage, and it’s interesting to see how much energy is being generated compared to before. My electricity costs have started decreasing gradually.”

“I wish I could give them a zero star rating. David Cuevas lied to my elderly parents and has caused them a serious financial hardship by selling them solar panels that they cannot afford. Made multiple promises that did not happen. Financial payment for putting a sign in the yard (didn't happen) Tax refund for the update which if applied to the loan would reduce the payment (didn't happen) Now noone at the company will return calls and it took MONTHS to even get them hooked up. Their electric bill is still over 200.00 a month along with a new payment that is approaching the term where it will increase. Worst human ever. *Also, now seeing the company's response to all of the complaints, which is lame a the very best, I am filing a complaint with our Attorney General and hiring counsel. This is absolutely ridiculous that they get away with scamming so many people.”

“This has been the absolute worst experience. We were never informed of deliveries and one driver was nearly injured by showing up in the dark, unannounced, in an unmarked vehicle and proceeded to enter our property. We were lied to about placement of batteries. We couldn't communicate with the installation crew due to a language barrier. They murdered $120 worth of plants. They left trash and 2-3" screws everywhere, falling off our roof and into our driveway. They broke a window and said nothing. The salesman now won't respond to texts or calls and the manager of our account, Lillian Frausto, isn't responding, either. We have no idea when our power company is supposed to finish the switchover or even who is supposed to contact them because our questions have gone unanswered by everyone. I'll never recommend this company to anyone and told other possible clients to reject any offer. Don't even talk to the salespeople.”

“We had a very frustrating and disappointing experience with Simplicity. After signing our initial contract for a solar system, we were later offered a second contract at a lower price—which we signed in good faith. However, the company refused to honor the second contract, claiming it was “voided,” without providing a clear explanation or any accountability. Since then, we’ve gotten nothing but the runaround. Calls and emails are ignored or met with vague excuses. No one seems to be willing to take responsibility or provide a resolution. This kind of bait-and-switch tactic is not only unprofessional, it's unethical. We went into this expecting honesty and transparency—values you'd hope to see from a company in the clean energy space. Instead, we feel misled and taken advantage of. Do your homework before signing anything with this company. We would not recommend them to anyone.”

“IF THE OWNER IS SO "CONCERNED" WHY DOES HE NOT CALL? Horrible place to buy solar from, the salesman Alex will block your number, almost like he was trained to do that after a sale. So many blatant lies told, I was told that they would come perform an a/c system upgrade included.... never happened. I was told this system would produce 10 percent more power than I use. The system produces 1/3rd of the power my house needs. When I call to ask what can be done, whats wrong? He then blocks your number. Please dont do business with these corrupt liars. I was told that I could either get a $12,000 tax credit or reduce my monthly payment to $250. Had i known i was sold half a system that doesn't produce enough i would have opted to use the tax credit 12k to purchase more panels and a battery. Alex did not care to explain that to me, this makes me feel that concern for what the customer means nothing. Make the sale at all costs then block numbers. I have since called the company multiple times and asked for Alex to return my calls. .. surprise... ghosted by them. I am overwhelmed knowing I have been swindled by these people.”

“Mitchell Grim is a very professional and down to earth guy. I had bought a car from him one time and he was a very good car salesman. He always made me feel right at home, making sure everything went smoothly and on time! Mitchell has very great attention to detail!”

Josh Thornburg

“Mitchell had been great to work with! He is very enthusiastic about his job and gave us great incite about solar panels. He is also a very polite and funny guy. We have turned away several other solar sales people but Mitchell is just so easy to talk to. Thanks!”

“SIMPLICITY POWER. WARNING! WARNING! WARNING! Please check out other solar companies before going with Simplicity Power. There is no customer service after installation. THE SALES GUYS ARE GOOD AT WHAT THEY DO. But, suddenly everyone there is hard to reach. Not just for days but for weeks each time I've had an issue. There's been 3 problems. It's just as the other posts have said. The one 5 star review is about a car not home solar. Our solar went out during one of the rounds of thunderstorms. It took weeks for us to reach someone to do something. They finally came out. And there are still problems, such as with the circuit breaker. They are all about sales. Get a company that's reliable before and after installation.”

“Absolutely a nightmare!!! Please do not do business with this company! They tell you one thing and do the complete opposite. Install OCT 2025 and have yet to hear back after trying to reach out since. Find someone else. If I could rate a zero I would”

Logan Sparling

“Our salesman Andy Patel was good until he wasn't. Leaving me and my wife to figure out what he should be informing us on. No communication, sarcastic remarks, not responding, ignoring calls, and the list goes on. I even had friends interested in solar and could not recommend due to the unprofessional experience.”

Jesus Trevino

“Very friendly and personable sales rep. Alexander Peters was very informative about the company and its benefits. He was not pushy and was extremely helpful in helping us figure out our needs and what was best for our situation.”

Lydia Sanchez

“Highly recommend Simplicity Solar. The salesman, Michael, was very knowledgeable and patient. He answered every question we had. The communication throughout the whole process was excellent. And the installation crew were very professional and courteous as well.”

Robert Schneider

“Do not recommend to do business or even listen to this company they feed you lies and refuse to disclose any fees or cancellation fees this sales man guy Mark Christensen just tries to brain wash you and commits on lies. He texts me lies to get me to get solar panels installs in my home after i ask him to cancel my installation and threatens with his company will charge me a $1,500 to cancel even after i ask him numerous times when he was at my house of any cancelation fees which he claimed at the time there was no cancelation fees plenty of times. Please keep simplicity away from your home and especially the sales representative i named above Mark Christensen.”

“Gabriel made going solar easy. He took care of all the questions I had and was there every step of the way through the process. If you're looking for someone who is trustworthy and will be there when you need them, ask for Gabriel!”

“Thank you Brandon McKinney for coming out to check on us this morning! Also ty to Alex and Sonny for taking your time out to answer all of our questions and helping us navigate from beginning to end! Shout to the gentleman who installed our panels, they were kind, efficient, very organized and we appreciated that they cleaned up after themselves. All of you rock!”

“If you have questions or doubts about solar, Mitchell is the one to ask. He was able to answer all of my questions and gave me a lot of insight. Mitchell was very nice and it was refreshing to meet an expert that actually knows what he’s talking about.”

“Is there a lower rating . So disappointed in this sales rep Sunny Lakhani , and the company he is representing as a sales rep you should always under promise and over deliver. Well this sales rep really over promised and really didn't do much after that. Alot of miscommunication, the guys came out to update the electrical box outside , then the installers to the panel came by but decided they had to reinforce the carport for the solar panels(which the rep had stated there would be some on the carport and roof) so when that was completed it took at least a week and I had no updates to the next move so I called the sales rep, finallya company called(from everbright)to speak to my electric company and I did assume that they were getting the contract canceled to get another one in effect, but then again no one called. I then received a bill from my electric company a month later( after the solar company talked to my electric company) like triple and the bill for the solar, Really got upset and called the rep he said he would pay for the solar bill 183.00, I then went back and was looking at our text messages and in fact he had promised a $500 gift card after install of the panel. So ”

Cathy Hernandez

“Had the pleasure of speaking to Mitchell, he was really informative and polite. Unfortunately I'm a renter and can't make this commitment at this time but took down Mitchell's information and will definitely be reaching out once I own a home!”
