Alternative Energy Source Co

Alternative Energy Source Co operates as a solar and electrical contractor from Schertz, Texas. The company handles solar systems along with battery backup, generators, and general electrical services for homes and businesses across San Antonio and nearby areas. Their listed services also cover air conditioning work, heating, and EV charger installations through their electrical focus.

Customers frequently request help removing solar panels ahead of roof replacements and reinstalling them afterward once the roofers finish. Technicians named David have completed wall-mounted Tesla charger setups that arrived on time with no leftover mess. Other names such as Michael provided diagnostics while Antonio, Chuy, and Ray Ramirez handled installations and panel work that reviewers described as clean and coordinated with the roofing crews. One project left panels off for twelve days when the roofing schedule slipped, yet most jobs finished without similar issues.

The company states round-the-clock emergency support and stresses on-time arrivals plus clear updates during jobs. Service reaches Schertz and the surrounding San Antonio region, with reviewers noting prompt responses and efficient handling of both solar and broader electrical tasks. Business details list a local address on I-35 and a contact number for scheduling.

Reviewers give the company a 4.9 rating across the provided feedback, with repeated comments on workmanship during panel removals and reinstalls plus the professionalism of named technicians.

“Had to remove and reinstall my solar panels to get my roof replaced because the company who installed them is out of business. They were reliable, worked with the roofers and communication was great. I am very happy with the work they did. I will definitely contact them first the next time I need a solar specialist to help me with my system.”

“Setting expectations is useful. Seems like Alternative Energy Source Co has the communication down with customers, but not with Erie Homes. The roofing project was delayed and my panels were off 12 days but the roof project was only a 3 day job.”
