Black Lion Tile Supply

Black Lion Tile Supply runs a tile and flooring store at 4127 S Danville Dr in Abilene, Texas. The family-owned business supplies tile, natural stone, wood flooring, luxury vinyl, and laminate along with thin-set, grout, waterproofing systems, floor leveler, patch, and repair products. It stocks tools and setting materials from vendors such as American Olean, Fusion Flooring, Custom Building Products, Schlüter Systems, and Rubi Tools. Joe Dan owns the store and works with staff including Faith and Tyler to serve contractors, builders, and homeowners on floors, showers, backsplashes, and commercial work across Abilene and the Big Country. The operation draws on third-generation experience in the trade.

Customers come in for tile projects and shower builds where they need materials and advice on products. Installers with decades on the job stop by to check details on certain items before starting work. Some place special orders when stock runs low and wait on shipping times. Reviewers note they leave with the supplies needed to finish jobs without extra trips, and they mention the Schluter system as a regular pick for waterproofing.

The store keeps regular hours for walk-in trade and answers questions on product use right at the counter. Staff members handle requests for hard-to-find items and explain options based on the job at hand. Special orders move at the pace of shipping schedules rather than overnight. Service stays limited to Abilene and the surrounding Big Country area with no mention of wider travel.

Reviews give the store a 4.8 rating and highlight the same points again and again. People call the staff knowledgeable and friendly, note the wide selection of quality tile and supplies, and say the service stands out for contractors who need reliable stock and straight answers on projects.
