The handyman Andy and his associate were an excellent team who perform an amazing job to complete installing the fan, efficiently and left the premises extremely clean. We received a quote and asked them to come out beforehand to review the job with us so we would know exactly what was included and make sure the quote covered the work required. We also sent photos of what needed to be repaired. They assured us an on-site visit was not necessary, although they said they could come out for an additional $70. We decided to trust their assessment and agreed to a repair cost of $580. When the worker arrived, he only had a basic ladder that wasn't nearly tall enough to reach the vent. He told us he would need to rent a lift from Home Depot to complete the job. We were fine with that, as long as it didn't result in a significant price increase. Later, they told us the cost would increase by about $400. Since lift rentals from Home Depot cost less than $300, we felt the additional charge was unreasonable. However, their invoice claimed arrival times of 9:08 AM and 9:32 AM. After accounting for their lunch break and departure around 5:30 PM, the actual active time was roughly 7.25 hours, but I was billed for 7.75 hours. - Pressure to Pay Without Itemization: I was required to pay on the spot once work was complete via credit card over the phone before being allowed to review an itemized bill showing what I was actually paying for. - Inaccurate Work Descriptions: The initial invoice listed tasks that were never performed—such as unboxing patio furniture that was already unboxed and handling chairs ”

Had to file a BBB complaint just to get my issue addressed because they refused to accept fault. Edit (after response): If being a difficult customer is requesting a quote BEFORE the work was completed, than that I am guilty of. I requested a 50% discount on the service charge for you to come back out to mount the TV. The simple fact of the matter is, I asked you if you provided the mount (I was clearly skeptical because earlier in the messaged you communicated material costs were extra), the moment the techs got here they should have just said, oh ok lets quote all the work since we are here. That did not happen. You agreed to quote the work before it was completed because the only thing I was for sure that I wanted done was to mount the TV. You are the most dishonest company I have ever dealt with. My reviews of your company have been nothing but honest.
