Craftsman Connection, LLC

Craftsman Connection, LLC runs out of Haltom City as a veteran owned outfit that takes on residential remodel work. Carl handles the jobs as owner and lead remodeler. The company covers kitchen and bathroom updates, flooring and base installation, fireplaces, crown molding and a range of custom projects. They also list tile work along with drywall, cabinets and countertops as part of what they offer homeowners.

Customers describe Carl building floating shelves in kitchens and making sure every piece sits level and holds firm on the wall. He has taken on full remodels and even checked an outlet in a bedroom that sat outside the original plan, finding a wiring problem that needed fixing right away. Reviewers note he sticks with each task until it meets his standards and uses solid materials throughout.

Carl answers calls and texts to start talks about a project and sets up site visits to go over the details in person. He arrives when promised, keeps homeowners updated as the work moves along and treats each house with the same care he would give his own. The company has handled jobs in the area for years and keeps the focus on finishing every step without shortcuts.

They show a 4.3 rating on Google with no reviews attached to that listing. On Angi the company has collected 153 reviews dating back to 2009 and earned Super Service Awards each year from 2010 through 2020. The same points come up again and again about careful work, extra help on issues that surface during a job and steady follow through on the full scope.

“Carl is someone you can truly count on. He shows up when you need him, communicates clearly, and treats your home like it’s his own. His attention to detail is unmatched, and he never cuts corners — everything is done with care and precision. What really sets Carl apart is how willing he is to help, even outside of the original scope of work. He goes above and beyond every single time. If you want quality work from someone who genuinely takes pride in what he does, Carl is the one to call. I also want to add that Carl went the extra mile by checking an outlet in our bedroom that wasn’t even part of the original work. He discovered a serious issue that could have caused a fire. That level of care, attention to detail, and genuine concern for our safety is rare. We are incredibly grateful he caught it before it became dangerous. I can’t say enough how grateful I am for his attention to the smallest detail!!”

“Carl built and installed floating shelves in my kitchen. He went to great lengths to make sure they were level and secured squarely on the wall. He uses quality materials and takes great pride in his work. I highly recommend Craftsman Connection.”

“I would trust Carl, the owner and remodeler, with my next home remodel in a heartbeat! Not only is he the most detail-oriented, thorough, and talented remodeler who I've ever met, he is professional, takes extra time ensuring that each project is meticulously completed, he is artistic, and he will ensure that you are taken care of personally. Unlike so many contractors and sub-contractors who usually provide poor work and are often dishonest or do poor work, often leaving the homeowner with having to hire two conractors - one who messes up their home and then another one after to fix the first one's mistakes which is costly. Carl breaks the stereotype. You won't need to worry about needing another remodeler after hiring him. He writes detailed estimates, constantly communicates, and he takes pride in ensuring that literally every tiny detail is accounted for. He also used to be a code inspector, so I found that his prior experiential knowledge came in very handy; He knows exactly how to ensure that the proper city codes are followed and that the proper permits are acquired. I definitely suggest giving him a chance!”
