Reviewers describe Charles handling flooded homes after storms, burst pipe repairs, and updates to outdated Jack and Jill bathrooms. He replaced patio doors, color-matched gutters, fixed ceiling holes, repaired trim and soffits, and refinished front doors. Jobs finished on schedule with crews that stayed professional and kept the site clean. Several customers noted he suggested cheaper options without cutting corners and produced results that matched the original quotes exactly.

Charles stays in touch through email and phone, shows up on time, and pulls permits plus drawings when needed. Work happens quickly once started, with attention paid to small details that other crews skip. Quotes cover everything up front so costs stay predictable. “Highly recommend! We’ve been working with Charles at Colter Reid for more than five years. Big or small…he comes to the job with the same enthusiasm and professionalism. The quality of the work is impressive and we are always pleased with the outcomes. We continue to recommend Charles to friends and family…we know he is a contractor you can trust to do an incredible job. If you are in the market for a remodel of any size, I would encourage you to give Charles a call. You won’t be disappointed!”

“I have used Charles at Coulter Reid for many years. The work and follow through with the projects (interior and exterior) are second to none. On multiple occasions Charles has suggested less expensive alternatives than what I had in mind for the work. I’ve worked with contractors for years and Charles is a true stand out who delivers quality work.”

“Charles has done remodels and renovations for many of my clients and myself! (He remodeled a master bathroom for me) . What I love about him is his attention to detail and ability to listen to my needs and wants and putting my ideas to paper. He also is awesome in items some contractors look over like including permits needed, drawings with specific materials or allowances and his quotes are right on what you expect to end up paying. More often then not, I have hired contractors in the past who have quoted me a specific amount and then jacked up the cost for every little thing that they didn’t think to include in their quote. I prepared myself for this to happen with Colter Reid, but it never did. The only difference I paid from original quote was if I added something or upgraded my materials. I felt like at the end of the day, I got the master bathroom of my dreams at the price I was quoted from the get go! It was like I got a bonus check at the end of my remodel! Charles is a loyal and trustworthy professional with a lot of integrity and a knack for making his client’s happy, which is why I will keep on recommending him to all my friends, relatives and clients! Charle”

“Charles remodeled my home after it was flooded from Harvey. As my son said, Charles gets all his ducks in a row before starting the reconstruction. Charles's sub contractors were very professional and I felt very comfortable around them. When an "issue" came up Charles was quick to solve the problem and make me happy. A phrase that was used during the remodel was "this is your home and it should be the way you like it". I would recommend Charles for both large and small projects.”

“Charles managed all the projects perfectly and they were completed quickly— no muss, no fuss! He replaced a patio French door and locks, a long section of rain gutter perfectly color matched, repaired a hole in a ceiling, replaced trim around a garage door and soffit, and refinished the front door! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I’ve been a homeowner for many years and this was the best experience with a contractor that I’ve had.”

“Professional--punctual--personable. Charles saw our new shower project through in a timely way. We are very pleased with the results. Charles and his construction crew were welcome guests in our house. I would recommend them for any home improvement project. Ruth B.”

“Charles was recommended to us from a friend in our neighborhood and we could not be more pleased with our bathroom remodels. Both of our Jack n Jill bathrooms upstairs were in desperate need of updating. Charles came in and gave us a great quote and the work was completed in 2 1/2 weeks from start to finish. It was so seemless and his crews were timely, efficient and did excellent work. I highly recommend them and we will use them again for other projects!”

“It was great working with Charles, especially with his follow through during the project. We were out of town a lot while Charles was working to get information to prepare our bid, but Charles was in constant communication with email. When we were back in town and ready to start work, everything was in order and work started on time. I enjoyed working with Charles, would not hesitate to hire him again and would recommend him for home repairs.”
