About

Mr. Handyman of Flower Mound, Lewisville and Denton operates as a handyman service from its location at 1075 Civic Cir Ste B in Lewisville, TX. The business lists tile work among its offerings along with bathroom remodeling, carpentry, deck building, drywall, flooring, general contracting, kitchen remodeling, and siding. Reviewers mention technicians including Jeremy, Mark, Daniel, Pete, John, Arturo, Marcio, Joey, Zach, and Michael handling the jobs on site.

Customers report requests to frame two walls and install a pocket door while matching existing wall texture, refinish a tub along with a bannister and front door, repair wood rot on multiple projects, set up a patio and hang pictures, widen a bathroom doorway with a pocket door that also needed an electrician, mount a TV, hang heavy animal mounts, fix fascia under gutters, patch drywall, install ceiling fans and doors, repair shower tile and floor to match existing material, replace a toilet seat, and fix a patio door frame. Technicians completed framing and door work in three days after a quick start, identified rot causes before fixing them, matched tile closely on a four-day shower job, and secured mounts level and solid.

Work proceeds with on-site quotes that customers accept before crews begin, clear explanations of options and steps, attention to matching specs through questions and adjustments, and cleanup at the end of each day. Reviewers note crews arrive on time for multi-day jobs, return for follow-up if needed, and stay until items are resolved, though a few mention extra charges for wiring behind walls during TV mounting and high totals for basic tasks like a toilet seat swap that took an hour and a half. Service covers local homes with crews sent out for both small repairs and larger modifications.

The business shows a 4.9 rating on its Google profile. Customer feedback highlights consistent quality and problem solving by named technicians across many projects, with repeated notes on efficiency and results that meet or exceed expectations, while a couple of reviews point to pricing concerns or one incomplete door frame repair left by a newer crew member.

What Customers Say

“The whole experience was great! We requested a quote to wall in a formal sitting area to create an office. The estimate met our expectations and work was started within a week. Their portion of the project was to frame in two walls, install a pocket door, and texture the walls to match the existing texture. Jeremy was great and completed the work in 3 days. We've tried other companies in the last year and had frustrating results. The comparison was night and day, and we will definitely be contacting Mr. Handyman again for any future needs.”

Will Ingram

“Jeremy did a wonderful job refinishing a tub, bannister, and front door. Very professional and high quality workmanship. Highly recommend.”

“Mark came and reviewed the items I needed repaired and gave me a reasonable quote to do the repairs. I agreed to the quote and Mark stated work on the project. He was very efficient and did a wonderful job on both of these wood rot projects. I would highly recommend this company to complete the projects efficiently and accurately. Mark did a great job. Thank you, Tom”

Thomas Black

“Daniel was Amazing! No words. Just moving here, I needed some help! Set up the entire patio for us so I could relax during all the unpacking! Put up pictures so it could start feeling like home! And so much more! I now love Mr. Handyman. No need to go to anyone else!”

Esther Moreno

“My husband could not get his rollator through the 24-inch bathroom door. Pete, from Mr HANDYMAN, installed a pocket door which provides a 33.5 inch opening which is large enough for his wheelchair. This change also required an electrician.”

Eve Engelbrite

“Pete did a great job for us. He asked all the right questions to ensure that he was executing our projects to our desired specs. He was resourceful and a good problem solver. We were very comfortable with having him in our home. We would absolutely call him out again the next time we need projects done. Great experience all around!”

Val Farber

“We had an excellent experience with Pete from Mr. Handyman. He came out to repair our bathtub, did some tile work, and handled a few other small repairs around the house. He was incredibly knowledgeable and took the time to explain everything clearly, which gave us a lot of confidence in the work being done. His patience and attention to detail really stood out, and the quality of the finished work was outstanding. It is rare to find someone this thorough and professional. We will definitely be calling to work with him again for future projects and highly recommend Pete from Mr. Handyman to anyone needing a reliable handyman.”

“Edit: IF YOURE CALLING ABOUT TV MOUNTING, you need to specify that you want the tv cord to go behind the wall, even if you already have the wall holes prepared and they will charge extra for that. Usually this is a given, but fyi this company does not recognize this and charges a separate fee as I told by the HOME OFFICE. We requested someone to mount our TV. They didn’t have tools to pull the wiring through the wall so the tv cord can be hidden behind the wall (the holes are already set up). When I called to see if they can help with the schedule so he can have the tools, I got an AI bot (it sounds like a high pitched young woman, pretty realistic). When I asked for a live representative, it started glitching and eventually hung up after repeating over and over that I will be transferred. I dialed again and finally got a real person. I want to make it clear the issue is with the home office. The handyman they sent did a fine job with what he was given. I recommend being as detailed as possible when scheduling a job on the phone and ask about what aspects will be charged. Edit: well, the handyman did not find the studs to hang our tv so it has now fallen over and damaged the tv ”

“John and Arturo did a fantastic job hanging my animal mounts! They were on time, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. They took extra care to make sure each piece was secure, level, and perfectly placed. Both were friendly, respectful, and cleaned up afterward. It’s rare to find people who do quality work this carefully. I highly recommend Mr. Handyman—and especially John and Arturo—for anyone needing mounts or heavy décor installed safely and professionally.”

Justin Smither

“Marcio was our technician and he did a fantastic job! Had our fascia fixed under some gutters. He identified why the rot was occurring and explained how he would fix it so that it wouldn't occur again in the future. Will be using them again for future repairs”

Riley Eckels

“Joey provided excellent work in completing our drywall repair. He was cordial and professional and completed the job without any problems. I will definitely use them again for future projects.”

“I had an appointment today to have some damage repaired to one side of my patio door frame. They sent Zach, who was apparently with the company only a couple of months. The picture shows how he left the job after being at my house for about 6 hours. He had to make 2 different trips to Home Depot because he said he kept buying the wrong size and type of door trim. So when he told me he had to go back for a 3rd time, I told him to stop what he was doing and leave. I told him I would get someone else to finish what he started. Then he gave me some lame excuses about his kid, and how he's new on the job, and he's not thinking straight, and a bunch of other crap I really didn't care about. Then he said he would offer to come back at a later time and finish the rest of the work for free. But I was so angry by this point, that I just wanted him out of my house, and I damn sure don't want him to come back again. If anyone knows of a competent handyman who can finish replacing the trim on my door, please let me know.”

“Great job on two ceiling fan installs and removal of what was there. Also the bedroom modification was done with attention to detail. Doors installed with care in multiple places. Well done!”

“I had the kitchen floor of a vacant house I inherited re-tiled. Because of the new height of the floor, the back door no longer opened since there was not enough clearance. I hired Mr. Handyman on 01/29/2026 to remove the door, cut/sand it, and then reinstall it. The employee who came out said it was not possible to remove the door. He told me my options were to replace the door or break the tile at the leading edge so the door would have enough clearance to open. I decided to put the project on hold and get a second opinion. I was charged $92.56 for the house visit. The original bid to remove the door and cut/sand it, as well as a pantry door, was $540. I hired Legit Handyman the following day (01/30/2026) for a second opinion. Their employee said the only thing needed to free the door was to remove the flashing at the bottom. He had the door out of the frame within 20 minutes of arriving. The charge to cut/sand both doors was $453.”

“We had some restoration work done on our shower and needed someone to repair the tile and shower floor afterwards. Joey Sparks from Mr Handyman was amazing! He was on time every morning of our 4 day job and he was able to find a tile to almost exactly match the existing tile. He was kind, communicative, and knowledgeable. We are so happy with the end results and will 100% be using Mr Handyman again for future projects (and requesting Joey specifically)!”

“Our tech, Pete, was nice and I had no problem with him or his work. But I paid an ungodly amount for a simple (although we couldn’t do it) toilet seat replacement. He was there 1.5 hours and we stupidly paid $330!!! After multiple attempts to get the stripped plastic screws out, we had no choice but to call a handyman and have been burned by independent ones in the past. I trust Mr. Handyman, but they are ridiculously expensive!”

Ellie Dodge

“I cant say enough great things about John and his hard work. He helped put everything into perspective and then into reality! Being a business owner I dont have alot of time to shop around for services and play the quote game. John came out and started the work after we booked and then even when I made changes to what I wanted done durring the project they made me the priority! If you are looking for a Handyman service for your project, big or small, you have to go with these guys! Ask for John!”

Chris Stana

“We needed to have a door jam repaired before Lowe's would install a new security door we purchased from them. Michael from Mr. Handyman was excellent. He was courteous and took time to explain my options and why he recommended the fix he felt would be the most effective for price. I would recommend Michael and Mr. Handyman for sure and will definitely reach back out to them the next time I need something like that done at our house.”
