Mr. SmileTile

Mr. SmileTile handles tile work in Pearland as a small family business run by Gilbert Saenz and his son Gilberto Jr. They install tile on floors, in showers and tubs, around fireplaces and as backsplashes. They also put down vinyl plank and engineered wood flooring. The company lists more than forty years doing this type of work and keeps the operation limited to direct family involvement.

Customers call on them for bathroom remodels that include new tile in showers and around tubs. Others have them retile entryways, replace large sections of vinyl plank across thousands of square feet, remove old VCT and switch to ceramic tile, or add engineered wood in living and dining areas. Reviewers note Gilbert and Gilberto Jr. handle both small repairs and full flooring swaps while keeping the work areas clean each day and finishing on schedule.

Reviewers describe the pair as responsive from the first call, willing to offer suggestions when plans are unclear, and careful with every measurement and cut. They stay in touch during the job, show up on time, and charge what customers call fair for the scope. Work stays inside the Pearland area and nearby spots, with no mention of set hours beyond completing projects without delays.

The nine reviews highlight steady quality, clear communication, neat job sites and solid results on both tile and plank jobs. DIRT Score 3.7 from 9 reviews on Finds.
