BetterMost Construction

BetterMost Construction and Restoration handles tile work along with bathroom and kitchen remodeling out of Rockwall, Texas. Tim runs the company with his father, and Paul and Gustavo manage most of the day-to-day jobs. They take on full bathroom updates, shower and tub replacements, vanity installs, flooring, baseboards, drywall, painting, carpentry, and fixture work. The crew stays busy with home maintenance and smaller handyman tasks too, all from their base at 1101 Ridge Road.

Customers call them for bathroom remodels that fix old tubs and showers or turn spaces into walk-in setups with new tile. One job turned a standard shower and toilet area into an accessible layout. Another replaced a cracked tub with fresh framing and tile while keeping the rest of the house in order. Kitchen projects often grow to include floors across a thousand square feet plus trim and paint. Reviewers note the tile comes out straight and level, paint matches without extra hassle, and crews finish on the schedule they set at the start.

They answer the phone fast, even when Paul is out driving, and drop by the next day to measure and send a quote by morning. Work runs Monday through Saturday from eight to five. Estimates break costs into clear sections so owners know what each part adds up to. Crews show up on time, cover floors with runners, clean up at the end of each day, and keep owners updated on any changes. The service stays local to Rockwall and nearby spots, with quick responses even around holidays for roof or water issues.

Reviewers give them top marks for staying organized and finishing without surprises. They mention solid communication, reasonable pricing after comparing bids, and crews that handle details like plumbing moves or older home quirks without extra mess. Tim and Eugene get called out for tile and overall oversight, while Gustavo keeps larger jobs on track. Google shows a perfect five from 103 reviews. DIRT Score 4.9 from 103 reviews on Finds.

“Tim and Eugene of BetterMost Construction remodeled our shower and toilet area to make them more accessible (ADA), and did an excellent job. It was completed within the time frame expected, the work was top-notch, they were respectful, and great communicators. They are pleasant, yet professional, and their tile work is outstanding. They pay attention to detail, and we appreciated them keeping the bathroom area clean and organized each evening so we didn't have to deal with a lot of disruption. We found them on the internet, read many reviews, and add our 5 stars to the list. Excellent company; excellent work!”

“Home renovations are barely tolerable at best. However, BMC is without doubt the best company to tackle any project with ease and patience. They make the process painless. When we contacted Paul and Gustavo to help us with a new vanity for our master bathroom, it quickly became a behemoth project of multiple bathrooms and then progressed to 1500 sq ft of new floors and baseboards. They are efficient, kind, thoughtful, collaborative, and provide outstanding work on any level. What makes them kings among men is their dedication to going above and beyond for their customers. Their crews are always top notch - from tile, to painting, to floors. We are so thankful they helped us take a suburban cookie cutter home and turn it into a unique, beautiful haven for our family. We will use them for any projects we have for our house!”

“I used BMC for installing my new flooring and trim and some paint work. Tim was great to work with and is very knowledgeable about his industry. We had a few hiccups with paint color and he was very accommodating. I really appreciate his hard work :)”

“I had never done a remodeling project before I recently decided to have both of my bathrooms updated. I can't say enough positive things about my experience with BetterMost. It was seamless and stress-free from start to finish. Tim and Eugene do excellent tile work, plumbing, and painting. The whole team was courteous, worked quietly and efficiently, and the projects were finished on schedule. The bathrooms look fantastic, and the cost was reasonable. I am so glad I chose BMC, and I would definitely use them again and recommend them to others.”

“BetterMost Construction did an outstanding job on two recent bathroom partial-remodel efforts for us. In one bathroom, they replaced an old tub/shower combo with a new walk-in shower. In another, they replaced a cracked built-in bathtub with a new unit, which also involved framing and re-tiling. Their estimate was very reasonable, and all of their workers did a great job. The work was completed quickly and you could tell that each worker paid attention to every detail. We couldn't be more pleased! We'll call them again, and you should too!”

“Bettermost Construction is hands down the best construction company I’ve ever worked with. From start to finish, their professionalism and commitment to quality were evident in every aspect of the job. The workmanship was truly first class — the kind of result that speaks for itself. The owner, Tim, along with his father, bring an honest, transparent approach to construction that’s incredibly refreshing in this industry. It’s clear that they care about doing things the right way, and it shows in both their communication and the final product. A huge shoutout to Gustavo, the project manager, who was absolutely awesome at his job. He was organized, responsive, and always made sure everything stayed on track and up to the highest standards. If you're looking for a company that delivers top-notch work with integrity and professionalism, Bettermost Construction is it. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again!”

“BetterMost Construction has just completed a substantial remodel of my kitchen, living, dining hallway, laundry, and guest bathroom areas in my house. I’m an economist and nontraditional financial advisor by trade. This was my first home remodel. I had very little idea of what to expect and sought more than one bid prior to beginning the work. What makes BetterMost stand out started at that very early bid-comparison part of the process. In contrast with another bid I received from a much longer established construction firm nearby in Rockwall county, the BetterMost bid was not only more comprehensive in that it included precisely all of those details, which I wanted the company to take account of, but it was also meaningfully lower priced, likely in the neighborhood of 10 to 15% of the total bid. I felt much more confident just in the bid process alone in that it seemed BetterMost and the company’s owner Tim actually cared about what I wanted done. Throughout the approximately two months long remodel process, that feeling was confirmed time and again. The contractor work is essentially exquisite. I requested a herringbone pattern using porcelain tile for floors throughout approx”

“Bettermost Construction was great to work with! From the beginning, they answered my call the first time I called, even though Paul was in his truck at the time! He came over the next day to see the project and had a quote for me the next morning. Paul was very professional and listened to everything I wanted and didn't want. He also gave good ideas about things I didn't even think of! We started the bathroom remodel the following week. Eugene and Vlad were awesome! They pulled out the garden tub, replacing with a walk-in shower and pulled out the single shower and made a water closet for the toilet. They did a great job, working hard every day..always showed up, let me know if they weren't, had great ideas and knew how to remodel and do everything to perfection! I definitely recommend them to anyone needing a bathroom or kitchen remodel. Great job done!”

“BetterMost was fantastic to work with and exceeded our expectations for our master bathroom remodel. As a designer I pay attention to all the details and I appreciated a crew that did the exact same thing. These guys were fantastic at capturing all the aesthetic features of our bathroom as well and making sure everything was installed to perfection. These guys came every day to our job and had wonderful communication throughout the process. Our master bathroom project involved extensive work due to moving all the plumbing, wall openings, remapping the floor plan and these guys welcomed every challenge. It is almost impossible to find great contractors these days that do what they say they are going to do but this team was beyond reliable. I am so appreciative to BetterMost for giving us our dream master bathroom.”

“Bettermost remodeled the shower and bathtub in our primary bathroom. Their work was impeccable. Everything tile was straight and level to the surface. Tim is great to work with and is detail oriented. The quotes they give are itemized, which gives you a segmented view of the project and cost. It can be difficult to find a good contractor, trust me when I say you cannot go wrong with Bettermost. If everything I said has not convinced you, then hopefully this will. The main reason we remodeled our bathroom was to get ready to sale our house. We got an offer at asking with it being on the market for one day and I know that was largely attributed to the phenomenal work they did.”

“Great work!!! We highly recommend BetterMost to anyone who needs a job done right! This family-owned and operated company treated our project and our home as if it was their own with their focused attention to detail. They protected our flooring with cloth runners and left no mess behind. After having received three quotes for this job, not only did BetterMost have the best price, we feel sure that we got the best work, as well. We especially appreciated the personal touch of having Tim come look at our shower before giving us a quote, which made us feel sure he understood what we wanted and that there would be no surprises along the way. We love our new shower and the glass door is gorgeous! Thank you, BetterMost! Chris and Connie”

“Bettermost Construction is such a fantastic company! I definitely recommend them for any home needs. They completely updated my master shower, built a custom electric fireplace for my living room, replaced all my carpeted floors with LVF, and helped with adding hardware to all my doors and drawers. They were always all on time, so professional, and all my home projects turned out even better than I imagined. 10/10!”

“Paul and the team at Better Most Construction are awesome. They will take the needed time to make sure the project is done right and to your satisfaction. I definitely recommend their work.”

“Paul and his crew were great! Super responsive to my questions, great quality work and professional workers. They redid my entire house's floors and did a fantastic job, and put in new sheetrock in my living room. After the remodeling, it was like living in a brand new house. For any future projects, I know I'll be calling Paul to manage it. I highly recommend him.”

“Was such a pleasure to work with BMC on our bathroom remodels! Everything was exactly to our liking and we couldn't be more happy with how quick and easy they made the process. They also offered some great input and were super helpful with any questions we had. Will definitely be using them for future projects!”

“Bettermost Construction did a great job in my new shower and new wood flooring. They’re very thorough and involved in all of the work and gave good supervision to any sub. Highly recommend!”

“Wind blew my roof shingles off. I called them and Paul was extremely nice and consultative. He had has team come look at my house within 24 hours (week of Thanksgiving) and the job was done that Saturday. Could not be more happier with the speed and quality of these guy's work!!!”

“These guys are the absolute best. Responsive, on time, and excellent at what they do. I am a single woman living alone in a house built in the 1940s, and I felt comfortable with the Bettermost team during every step of the contracting process. They did a great job working with the older architecture. Bettermost was more than patient with me, and I LOVE my bathrooms. Do not look any further than these guys. The quality is the best in town, and I'm a little picky because I used to be a landscape architect. HIRE THEM NOW!”
