Do It Right Remodels

Do It Right Remodels handles tile work and kitchen and bathroom remodels out of Schertz, Texas. Paul Kowalski runs the company and takes on custom tile installs plus full bathroom and kitchen projects in Schertz, Cibolo, Garden Ridge, and New Braunfels. Jobs finish with no leftover mess and spaces that look and function better than before.

Paul keeps customers updated on progress, shows up on schedule, and sticks to quoted prices that reviewers call fair and honest. He cleans the site daily, answers questions directly, and adjusts small details as the work moves along. “Paul at Do It Right Remodels is THE one to hire for your bathroom or kitchen remodels! He’s a fantastic, trustworthy, and incredibly skilled tiler and remodel expert. Highly recommend! He remodeled our guest bathroom, and we are absolutely thrilled with the results! Paul is a master tiler and it shows. He’s also only the certified tile installer through the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation in the Schertz-Cibolo area, currently. The tiles in our bathtub/shower area were placed with complete precision, thoughtfully planned so that the patterns look wonderful. He did all the work himself and paid close attention to every detail. He made sure everything was just right—the business name is accurate! He also helped us think through what we wanted to do from the start and was clear and up front about costs (which were very reasonable!) He’s punctual, friendly, and professional. Not only did he tile the shower/bath area beautifully with a custom-made niche, he installed a new bathtub, showerhead, new vanity, faucets, new toilet, new flooring, new lights and painted the whole room. He also knows which plumbers and electricians we could trust. Working with Do It Right Remodels gave us gre”

“Paul is a joy to work with. His attention to detail is amazing. He goes above and beyond to make sure what he does is as perfect a job as possible. Not only is his work great but being around him talking to is fun also. He has a great personality and attitude.”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better professional. Prices are fair and finished work is excellent. Paul does the project as if he is doing it in his own home. he let you know what’s going on, where he’s at in the project, and finishes in a timely manner. He made sure that there was no mess afterwards. You could not ask for better!!”

“I would absolutely recommend Paul, with Do it Right Remodels, if you’re looking for quality, custom tile work, and excellent professional service. You can trust him to do the job right the first time, in a timely manner and at an honest price.”

“We highly recommend Paul if you want a shower that not only looks perfect on the outside but is built with a high quality Wedi system. It’s comforting to know that no corners are cut short in ALL aspects of the shower. Paul is THE BEST! Do your research and then pick Paul.”

“First-class Master Tiler that Impresses! Paul is first-class master tiler; his skill and attention to detail yielded results for our master bathroom remodel that far-exceeded our expectations. He is an experienced craftsman that uses high quality warrantied materials such as Wedi and Schluter Ditra as a base for whatever tile you choose. For us, we wanted a natural stone look massive walk-in shower with the veining carried throughout, and it turned out stunningly beautiful. Additionally, I was impressed with the uniformity between tiles; the tiles are so level you can slide a puck across the floor and it doesn’t get caught on a single grout line. With respect to lines, we chose a third offset look and those lines are perfectly uniform as well. Furthermore, Paul is extremely personable and does not do multiple projects at a time; he is your contractor from start to finish. We thank him for all he has done for us. He’s become a good friend and we will definitely hire him for our future projects. We hope you give him your business as well; you will not be disappointed!”

“I had my bathroom remodeled and several other handyman repairs/replacements done. Absolutely beyond 5 star. Always on time, courteous, and an absolutely job well done. I definitely will use this service again and highly recommend it!!!”

“Simply put, if you want the job done right, don’t hesitate to call Do It Right Remodels. Paul did an outstanding job of converting my old tub to a spa-like walk-in shower. Not only did Paul design and build a beautiful shower, he also fixed the underlying drainage and structural issues he encountered after removing the tub. His meticulous work, trustworthiness, and attention to detail were very important to me after having bad experiences with other contractors in the past Paul is a certified tile installer and does all the work himself which gave me additional peace of mind. He was professional, personable, and very patient with my many questions. Hands down, Paul is the best contractor I’ve ever used, and I would not hesitate to hire him again.”

“Had a great experience - Paul helped us repair our shower after some foundation damage. The project turned out great and was an affordable option compared to the other quotes we got. Would highly recommend”

“Paul is a true master at remodeling bathrooms. He has done my guest and masterbath and both came out beautiful. He is very respectful of your house and time. Cleans up before leaving for the day and informing you of progress. If you want a rush job don't waste your time or money here! You pay for what you get. Paul is an excellent contractor and is like family to me.”

“Paul is very professional and does quality work the correct way. His client’s renovation(s) is treated as if it’s his own home. Most of all he’s honest and trustworthy, which for me was above all consideration. He’s detailed, cleans up and is a master tiler. Beautiful work! Thank you Paul for doing ‘It Right’”

“I would highly recommend Do It Right remodels. Paul was very professional and meticulous with his work. It’s obvious he has a passion for what he does. His estimated completion time was spot on and he communicated through the whole process to make sure we all stayed on the same page. Excellent quality of work at a very fair price.”

“This was the first time that we've ever done any remodeling to our home & we were a little nervous. We were extremely blessed to have found Paul! We weren't sure what something like what we wanted would cost, but when we asked around, we were told that his pricing was very reasonable. We told Paul what we wanted & he walked us through the entire process & timeline. He was very responsive & helpful in answering our questions. When he was working on our projects, he was truly focused on our project. Paul even gave me tips/tricks on how to do some work myself. By the time the project was over, it felt like Paul was family. We will definitely use his services in the future!”

“Paul did a fantastic job updating a bathroom for us — installing tile floors, fixing some drywall and updating a light fixture. In addition to doing great work, he is super easy to work with, very responsive, showed up when he said he would and paid attention to detail to make sure the end result looked great. Would definitely call Do It Right again for our next project!”

“I highly recommend Do It Right!! Paul is professional, detail oriented and treated my home with care. His tile work was perfect and he worked with me on every detail to ensure I got what I wanted. His schedule filled up fast as neighbors checked out his work, but he is worth the wait. Thanks for such a great experience.”

“Best home investment I ever made!! Hiring Do It Right Remodels made money for me 👍🏼 My house had been a bit neglected for a few years, so I needed help when it was time to put it on the market. I had my trusted friend in real estate appraise my property, then hired Paul to spruce up the place, and afterwards was able to raise the asking price by $20,000 (and sold it quickly)! Unlike other contractors I’ve worked with, Paul was uber professional- always on time, easy to get ahold of, clear in communicating with me... what really blew me away was that he gives a detailed estimate in advance & then will discuss any changes that may come up before doing the work. With other home repair guys, I’d get a ballpark price- then it always seemed to take longer and cost more than they said. Do It Right Remodels made sure everything was perfect, that I was very happy, and that everything was cleaned up! It is so nice to be able to *trust* the person who has your home in his hands! He does absolutely beautiful tile work. His bathroom transformations are jaw-dropping! Treat yourself right. Hire Paul 👍🏼👍🏼 I fell so much in love with his work in 2012 that I couldn’t help myself; I had to marry that”

“We have worked with Do It Right Remodels for many years, on our personal and investment properties. Paul is always professional and thorough. Exceptional in every way. His work always exceeds expectations, no detail is ignored or missed. Give Do It Right Remodels a call. You won’t be disappointed.”
