Pastwas Tree Service LLC

Pastwas Tree Service LLC operates as a Christian-owned and family-run tree service in Amarillo, Texas, and the surrounding Texas Panhandle. David Pastwa meets with customers to assess needs and provide pricing for trimming, pruning, tree removal, and stump grinding. The company has handled these services since 1994 for both homeowners and businesses on properties ranging from urban lots to sites west of Happy.

Customers have described jobs that include pruning four large elm trees plus one ash tree, removing and grinding stumps of two huge trees, trimming to clear branches from power lines, and repeat visits for removal followed by trimming. Mathew drew notice for steady effort on one site, while Aaron handled trimming that improved the appearance of trees around a home. Crews arrived with equipment such as a bucket truck, completed the cuts, and left the areas free of debris so that properties showed only the improved trees.

Reviewers noted that the company provides an estimate first, arrives on the scheduled day, works through the full job without delays, and finishes with thorough cleanup. Pricing came across as reasonable and fair across multiple jobs. Communication stayed direct, crews stayed polite and focused without issues on site, and the work covered both routine maintenance and more involved removals in the Amarillo area.

The reviews highlight consistent results on cleanup, fair pricing, and professional conduct from the crews. DIRT Score 4.3 from 27 reviews on Finds.

“My wife, Zane McFarland and I live west of Happy. We had four large Elm trees and an Ash tree that badly needed pruning. David Pastwa first came out and we showed him around. He gave us a price and told us when he could come back to do the work. True to his word, he came out on the appointed day with a bucket truck along with six of his crew. All of the guys were friendly, courteous, and respectful which means a lot to us...and they were extremely hard workers. They pruned our trees and cleaned up so well afterward that you would never have known they there except our trees looked so much better. And their pricing is very reasonable. I highly recommend Pastwas Tree Service.”

“This company is one I will highly recommend! I hired them to remove some tree stumps and trim my trees, and they did an excellent job! I was impressed with their skill, and the fact they cleaned up after the job so well. Two of my friends also used them, and said they were impressed with the service, the way they cleaned up after the job, and that every member on the crew were polite and courteous. No foul language from these young men and no smoking on the property. They got right to work, kept working until the jobs were complete, and their prices are very reasonable, too!”
