Texas Trees & More

Texas Trees & More runs tree service work from Arlington, Texas. Steven oversees the operation and his crew handles tree removal, trimming, stump grinding, stump removal, storm cleanup, and emergency calls around the clock. The company stays locally owned and covers Ellis County along with surrounding spots like Montgomery County. They keep the focus on safe cuts and full property cleanup after each job.

Homeowners call them out for taking down cedar trees in back yards, pulling mature elms and oaks from front yards, and grinding stumps that sit too close to houses or driveways. Crews trim sagging limbs that threaten roofs or passing cars, clear carpenter ant damage from oaks, and reduce weight on Bradford pears near bedrooms. They also handle brush clearing on overgrown lots and finish by back filling holes and hauling away every branch and limb so the ground looks untouched.

Steven answers the phone fast and often drives out the same day to give a quote. The team arrives on the scheduled time, sticks to the written price, and keeps texting updates if plans shift. Jobs that other outfits said would take two days sometimes wrap in one because the crew works straight through. They serve the Arlington area and nearby counties with flexible scheduling that fits around work hours.

The company carries a five star rating from 142 reviews. Reviewers keep noting the crew's steady pace, the clean finish on every site, and the competitive bids that beat other numbers they received. Many say they plan to call again for future trimming or bigger removals.

“Steve and his crew did a great job removing a 25-30ft cedar in my back yard. They cleaned up after themselves and did the work in a timely manner. Definitely recommend them.”

“Absolutely amazing group of guys. Steven is highly experienced when it comes to safety and tree removal. He recognized certain trees and recommended to trim/ remove certain ones instead of other companies either giving a price on removing completely. He and his crew were thorough and very professional, and quick! They gave me the best price out of everyone I spoke to. Very happy with the outcome. Before and after photos attached”

“Excellent work! We had a medium sized tree we needed removed in our front yard. They were super easy to schedule with - and they were completely finished in just a couple hours. They also actually back-filled the spot when they were done and did an extremely thorough job - much appreciated! I wish we had more trees for them to remove because they were that nice to work with!”

“Texas Trees and More, are AMAZING. Steven, and his crew are Awesome, very hard working, very friendly, and amazing at what they do! What was a two day job took them 1 day. They are super hard working. I will definitely be using them in the future for our needs. Thank you so much.”

“Texas Trees and More was quick to provide a free estimate. Communication was thorough, they showed up when they said they would and on time. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up afterwards. I appreciate your job well done!”

“Texas Trees came out today to trim two trees in my front yard. They did an amazing job. The limbs were sagging and I was afraid they were going to fall on my house or a vehicle driving by. I asked them to use their best judgment because I had no clue what needed to be done. They cleaned up the limbs and I still have two beautiful full trees. I was invoiced the quoted amount which was very reasonable. Communication was great. I highly recommend Texas Trees & More Tree Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Excellent service! Steve responded to our inquiry/request for contact within 15min and showed up the same day to give us a quote. He showed proof of licensing, insurance and explained to us what we can expect. We were able to schedule that day for him to come out the next week and complete the job. He always responded to our calls/texts immediately. He and his crew of 2 men trimmed our Oak trees beautifully. He’s in the process of becoming a licensed arborist - so his focus is solely on trees (not “yard work”). They were professional, friendly, and cleaned up every branch and limb that they cut. The trees were balanced and looked beautiful when they were finished. . I would highly recommend them.”

“Did great work. Our yard looks brand new. Hard working group of people! Worked through sun and rain to get the job done. Would highly recommend”

“Prior to hiring Texas Trees & More, I read plenty of reviews for this company and others that served my area. I was surprised that this company had about 50 reviews and all were good, so I called the owner, Steven. My first surprise was that he answered my call immediately. I explained my situation and he told me he would stop by after he was done with the jobs for the day. He looked at my trees and provided an estimate and options to meet my needs and budget. He removed two trees in an organized, careful, and clean way. One was an Oak infested with Carpenter ants and the other was a Bradford pear very close to my bedroom. He also did weight reduction on another Bradford pear. It was a lot of work, hours under the sun, and planning on how to tackle each tree and he got it done in 1 day! I could not be more pleased with the job Steven did! I will be happy to refer him to my family and neighbors.”

“Steve cut down a tree between my neighbor and I properties. He was communicative, on time, took proper safety precautions, and had a great group of guys assisting in the process. Overall happy with his work and will use him again when needed.”

“Very professional and easy to work with. The bid was extremely competitive and the work was done in a very timely manner. At the completion of the job, we couldn’t tell they had been there! I highly recommend!”

“I hired this company to remove and grind the stumps of three mature elm trees as well as trim another tree and remove debris from another location where we took down trees ourselves. I am thoroughly impressed with how good of a job they did and left both locations looking very clean. I obtained quotes from other companies too, but I was inclined to work with this company from the time they gave me a quote. We have one more huge tree that needs to be removed for which I will contract Texas Trees and More AS WELL AS all my trimmings in the future!!!”

“Great experience! I reach out to Steve about getting my trees cut. I explained my work schedule and he was flexible with and came out to look at the tree and gave me a good estimate. He came out and got the job done quickly. It was just a good overall experience.”
