Lombardo's Bonded Tree Service, LLC

Lombardo's Bonded Tree Service, LLC runs a tree service out of Beaumont, Texas. The company has operated as a locally owned business in Southeast Texas since 1963 and holds ISA Certified Arborist credentials. They handle tree removal, pruning, stump grinding, land clearing, demolition, fertilization, injection work, and consulting. The business stays municipally bonded and carries commercial insurance plus state worker's compensation coverage, with certificates available on request. Free estimates are offered for jobs in Beaumont and nearby areas.

Customers call them for pruning large oak trees and removing dead limbs from live oaks, taking down pine trees next to houses, grinding stumps after removals, and clearing land that includes old fences or bushes. Chris often meets homeowners to walk through options for preserving tree health instead of full removal, and crews handle root pruning ahead of pool builds. Reviews note crews arriving on schedule to finish oak trimming or pine takedowns in a single day, then leaving yards spotless with no branches or leaves behind, sometimes even clearing pool areas.

The company serves Beaumont and surrounding Southeast Texas spots such as Lumberton. Reviewers say crews show up when promised, finish work efficiently, and keep communication straightforward through the process. Pricing comes across as fair in multiple accounts, and the owner has been known to handle bids personally even during busy periods. Most jobs involve same-day or next-day starts after the quote, with emphasis on thorough debris removal before leaving the site.

Google lists a 4.7 rating for the business. Reviewers repeatedly mention solid results on oak and pine work, careful handling around homes, and reliable cleanup that leaves no trace of the crew. A few accounts note occasional delays in callbacks.

“Lombardo’s Tree Service went above and beyond! We had a large oak tree that needed pruning, along with several dead limbs from a neighboring live oak hanging into our backyard. Chris took the time to walk us through our options and gave us honest, expert advice. We were originally worried we might need to remove the tree entirely, but thanks to his guidance, that wasn’t necessary. The crew showed up on time, worked efficiently, and left our yard absolutely spotless and not a single branch or leaf left behind. Their pricing was better than we expected, and the level of professionalism from start to finish was outstanding. It’s refreshing to see a locally owned and operated business deliver this kind of quality service. I truly could not be happier with the results. Highly recommend Lombardo’s Tree Service to anyone needing expert tree care, because you won’t be disappointed!”

“Being new to the Golden Triangle, we didn't know who to call for the removal of a huge pine tree next to the house we just purchased in Lumberton. After a couple of recommendations and lots of research online, we had 3 different companies give us bids. We normally don't go with the lowest bidder but Lombardo's years in business and their reviews, we decided to give it a whirl. Chris and his team showed up when they said they would to tackle this monster of a tree. They did an amazing job and I must say their main climber has nerves of steel. I would highly recommend Lombardo's Tree Service for any and all of your needs! Update after using Lombardo's over the past 4 years. We have now used Lombardo's Tree service on 4 different occasions at our home in Lumberton. Always fair pricing, amazing professional work. These guys are the best around. They have dropped 2 huge pine trees that were over 85ft tall and close to our house without so much as a pine needle landing on the roof. Chris and team get 5 star ratings from us!”

“Lombardo’s Tree Service did an excellent job pruning a giant Oak tree in our backyard. Chris provided knowledgeable suggestions on how to accomplish what we were looking for, while preserving the health of the tree. The price was fair and the crew was very punctual and friendly. They thoroughly cleaned up when they were done and besides the tree itself, you couldn’t tell they had been there at all. Even cleaned the our pool! 10/10”

“We have used Lombardo Tree Services over the years and they always provided us with excellent work. We didn't know what to do with our big oak in front and Chris gave us excellent recommendations. The crew he sent was very experienced, and completed the work safely and exactly as planned. They also removed all debri and cleaned up our yard. The price is fare. We are very satisfied with this company.”

“I have used Lombardo's Tree Service several times over the years. They have always done a great job. Their prices are fair and they do an excellent job of cleaning up the area when they are finished. They are a local, family owned business and I recommend them 100%.”

“We were given a fair quote for the job and set up to have the work done just days after we were given the quote. The crew arrived on time and completed the work in a timely manner, all in one day. The crew was friendly and very accommodating, making sure I was pleased with the job. I would use Lombardo’s again and I would definitely recommend them to anyone who needs to have tree trimming or cutting done.”

“We have what must be one of the biggest, stateliest and prominent live oaks in Beaumont. This tree adds incalculable value and curb appeal to our property. So we've put the care of this tree, and the many others on our property, entirely in Lombardo's hands. Chris manages their fertilization and pruning needs year around, and keeps a proactive eye out for any issues. Lombardo's has even handled prepping our backyard for a pool construction, which involved a delicate root pruning operation so we could preserve the look of the property but still have our pool. Chris has always been responsive, knowledgeable and completely on-point. Lombardo's prices are not the cheapest, but they're entirely reasonable. If you actually care about the investment that your trees are to your property, go with Lombardo's!”

“Update (6/2026)...My husband and I have several trees in our backyard that need attention so we decided to give Lombardo's one more try. I am pleased to report that we received prompt and expert service this time. The owner of the company came out and gave us a bid himself even though he and his wife had just had a new baby. Wow!! Can't thank them enough for their help. Deeply disappointed...I have used Lombardo's Tree Service in the past with amazing results but they are not as customer service focused as they once were. I recently called and asked for a quote with the promise that someone would call me back...no one ever called. I called a second time with the same promise and no call back. So disappointed with the lack of professionalism and service that I am revising my rating from 5 stars to 1 star.”

“Their employees were very professional and careful in working in my front yard. I had a beautiful Oak tree that was leaning from the storm and they trimmed it and put dirt around it to help save it. They trimmed my other trees and took off any of the dead limbs that I had. They listened to any other concerns that I had and trimmed more if I thought that they should. I would use them again and would definitely recommend them.”

“Lombardo's did a great job! They were professional and courteous when they came to my home to remove some trees. They did a fantastic job and cleaned up all the debris in the yard when they were done. I would highly recommend them if you need any tree work.”

“The Lombardo’s tree service I have used for many years. I highly recommend them. They get in and get the job done quickly every time. And treat us very fairly every time.”

“I've used Lombardo's to have a live oak lifted, a water oak and a magnolia tree taken down and three stumps grinded. The arborist also identified a unique tree I had. They then returned a year later and pulled up a 50 year old chain link fence. They've always been a pleasure to work with and I will always come back to them for any of my land clearing needs.”

“I highly recommend this tree service. Chris was very kind and explained everything to me in detail. He explained what was wrong with the tree, the process, and different options for the removal. The crew was so nice and professional. They did a great job removing at very large diseases oak tree from my property. Thank you so much.”

“I've used these great folks before a few times now. Removed a 40 year old Oak tree and grinded stumps. A few years later removed bushes around my entire house. Solid and efficient work. Don't be "stumped" on whether to make the decision to go with Lombardo's!”

“My parents have used this service multiple times for tree removal. They always are spot on with appointments for appraisals and the work they perform is amazing. We will be continuing to use them for any future needs.”

“Couldn't be happier. Had large oak tree trimmed. Tree looks great, cleaned up yard in surrounding area, stacked neatly for city to pick up and price was fair. Would definitely recommend!!”

“These guys did a great job. Very reasonable prices and lead times and the crew was great. Will 100% call them again next time.”

“These guys were punctual, professional, quick, safe and incredibly thorough. Recommended them to my neighbors, and would use them again.”

“Wonderful job by skilled workers. Only tree service that I would use.”

“They never returned my phone call, after 3 inquiry calls. They must be very busy but I will never call them again. ☹️”
