“Moon Valley Carrollton is the best location hands down. Let's start by saying all the staff are 100% amazing. They greet you with a smile and go above and beyond to make sure you are satisfied with your project big or small; commercial or residential. When you go ask for "Magic" he literally does magic. See before and after photos of my property. Money well spent. He was sooo good with his design and selections, once planted I had neighbors walking up giving me kudos on a job well done. He took the time to explain everything I wanted to know, answered all of my questions, and kept in touch by checking with me the day before and again on the day of delivery. His communication and customer service were exceptional. Install Crew Foreman: James Goodnight was professional, knowledgeable, and easy to talk to. He explained the installation process, answered all of my questions, and made sure everything went smoothly. Install Crew: The entire crew was friendly, respectful, and incredibly hardworking. “This place is a joke. We bought tons of plants and trees for our new home. 27 hollys died within 2 weeks. When we reached out to get a solution, they said to give it 60 days as they needed to acclimate or recover from shock. It took months but they finally replaced them and lot and behold, exact same issue. Their products are inferior. We haven’t even bothered reaching out to them again as dealing with them is just more stress. We bought an equal amount of greenery from a different nursery and it’s thriving in the same yard. Surprisingly it didn’t have the “shock” that moon valleys products have traveling 10 miles in Dallas. Should also mention they conveniently have failed to refund the tax paid even though we gave them a tax exempt form. One manger claimed they misplaced it.”

“I had a pool built in my backyard mid 2023. There was a beautiful Crepe Myrtle at 1 end corner of the pool and it looked so great with the white marble deck and banana trees on the other corner. I soon realized the Crepe had to go as the blooms got in the pool and stained the marble. Having vacationed 17 times on the Mexican Riviera I loved the various type of palm trees so I went to the Moon Valley Nursery in Carrollton, TX to begin that search to have a bit of Mexico in my backyard. That particular day Carly was at that site and walked the lot showing me different trees and I finally knew the Date Palm was my choice. The tree was planted Oct 2023 and was 30 years old weighing 3000 pounds and looked exquisite by the pool. The 2023 winter was extremely harsh and my opinion is the tree didn't have time to acclimate to being in the ground and then the bitter temps didn't allow it to survive. The story goes on and Carly recommended replacing with a Sabal Palm which I've seen a number of these trees in the area and well suited here. She assigned Madea the task of finding a replacement tree. She orchestrated having 4 Sabal palms transported from the”

“This place is horrible. I spent over $1,000 on two trees. Got them home and planted them in brand new fertilized dirt from living Earth. They did not make it 3 days and all the leaves were burnt and crunchy. The trees were totally dead. I talked to their in-house arborist who agreed that I could come swap them out for different trees. However, after I unplanted them and drove across town to swap them out, they changed their mind and the lady at the desk said no, there's no warranty. We can sell you two new trees, but we will not do anything about the dead trees. Keep in mind these are less than one week old. Very disappointed. Will never come back here again. If you tell somebody to rent a truck and dig up 2 trees and drive them to your facility, you should honor what was said and not say "sorry I misspoke, we are not willing to do anything to help remedy our error.”

“I worked with Jeffrey Brown and he made everything super easy. I purchased a bunch of shrubs for my landscaping company, and the whole process went really smoothly. One of my workers went into the store for me and they didn’t speak English, but Jeffrey was patient, used a translator, and was able to take care of everything for them. Later I called to finalize the order, and it was quick and simple. I really appreciated the extra effort and respect he showed. I highly recommend Jeffrey and will definitely be calling him every time I need something.”

“I’m really disappointed in this company. We bought two trees from them, a “giant” magnolia and a “huge” weeping willow. First off, everyone we spoke to was super nice and the crew that put the trees in were great. Also, the trees we got are beautiful. With the purchase of these trees we were required to buy “weather protection plans” and “mvp care”. The mvp care included three visits and care for our trees for the following year. We were told that this guaranteed care and help for our trees for one year. These weather protection and mvp care plans cost $1,600. During a mvp visit some of the wood stakes that were supporting our willow tree were deemed no longer necessary and removed. But after some heavy winds our willow tree was blown completely sideways. We reached out three separate times to get help for our tree, spoke to someone each time and even sent pictures. Each time we were told that someone would get back to us but no ever did. It’s been a month since we first reached out and three weeks since we last tried to get help. Our tree just keeps getting worse. We spent a total of $6,647 at moon valley and $1,600 of that was for the protection plans. If I would of known th”

I decided to call to see what they had in inventory and I was met with the most wonderful and helpful gentleman named Sam that helped my family and I every step of the way!
