Dapper Tree Service

Dapper Tree Service runs tree work out of Cibolo, Texas as a Special Operations veteran owned company with Joe at the head. They handle trimming and pruning, full removals, stump grinding, plant health care, fertilization, root collar excavations, high risk jobs, commercial and residential work, tree risk assessments, emergency calls, and storm damage cleanup. The outfit covers Cibolo and the surrounding areas and takes credit cards, cash, checks, PayPal, Cash App, Venmo, plus payment plans arranged through the office.

Homeowners bring them in for large oak removals with stump grinding on the same visit, trimming live oak limbs that hang over roofs and sheds without any damage to structures, taking down old ash trees, clearing invasive or dead trees, canopy raises, bush clearing along house fronts, and hauling away long sitting limb piles from yards. Crews led by Chris along with James, Christopher, Victor, and Joey finish the cuts, check the results with the owner on site, and leave the ground free of debris every time. Joe meets customers first to lay out the steps and calm concerns before any saws start.

They send someone for an estimate the next day or the same day, answer calls and texts promptly, and move jobs up in the schedule when the need is urgent. Prices land on the reasonable side with options for four months interest free on bigger work. Crews arrive ready, stay in touch through the day, finish fast, and clean the site before they pull out. The service stays local to Cibolo and nearby spots like Schertz.

Reviewers give top marks for the crews staying professional, the fair costs, and the complete cleanup after every job. DIRT Score 4.9 from 245 reviews on Finds.

“I highly recommend Dapper Tree Service! They recently came out to my property to handle a large oak tree removal and did some stump grinding on a few other stumps. From start to finish, the crew was professional, efficient, and left the yard completely clean. It's easy to see why they are highly rated for tree services in the Cibolo/Schertz area. If you need reliable tree removal or stump grinding, definitely give these guys a call. Fantastic work!”

“Joe and his team were extremely professional and courteous. Any questions I had were answered with confidence. Joe walked me through the whole process and calmed any doubts that I had about taking down this old Ash tree. The only problem is that I don’t have more trees that need work. I will recommend Dapper Tree Service to any one who needs services.”

“The team did a great job trimming my trees. My live oak had multiple large branches that extended over the roof of my greenhouse and a storage shed. They trimmed them with no damage. They did a good job of cleaning up the debris and left my property in excellent condition. I highly recommend them. E”

“We were very happy with the professionalism and quality of work Dapper Tree Service provided.. The price was reasonable and they even allowed us 4 months interest free to pay off the total cost. It was a big job and once they showed up- within a couple hours the trees were gone and the yard was totally cleaned up. We highly recommend you call them if you are in need of tree services. We wouldn’t hesitate to do business with Dapper again! They are busy so we did have a little wait before they were able to get to our big fallen trees-which is understandable. When you’re good and treat people fairly word gets out. Thanks again guys and keep up the great work!!!”

“Dapper Tree Service did a superb job at trimming and cleaning our Iive oak trees. We spoke with Joe, owner, and discussed what we would like to see as the end result. His crew which consisted of Chris as Lead, James, and Christopher Jr came out and discussed the job which we agreed upon. After trimming each tree, Chris would check with us to ensure the tree was trimmed as requested. They cleaned up beautifully, leaving no loose branches behind. Highly recommend this company for any tree trimming.”

“Dapper tree service is absolutely wonderful, and I highly recommend them if you're looking to have your trees trimmed or removed. They were very thorough and ensured that I was satisfied prior to leaving. In addition to their outstanding service, their pricing is very reasonable. They came in and took care of two of my trees at the front of my home. I was very pleased with their work and will be reaching out to them again in the future for sure.”

“Dapper Tree Service was very professional. They were very careful and completed all work in a exceptional manner. They worked us into their schedule earlier than originally projected because they knew we need our work completed quickly. We've used a lot of tree services over the years ... Dapper Tree Service is head and shoulders above them all! This is a first class outfit.”

“I contacted Joe to provide an estimate on trimming several trees and removing stumps. He inspected the property explained what they would do and provided the estimate. We were able to set a date to coincide with the City brush collection schedule. The crew arrived and went straight to work. Cleaning up after themselves and were done in no time.”

“Had two massive Pecan trees removed from next to the house. I wanted to go with a small local company instead of a large national one. Joe and his whole crew were outstanding!! Could not ask for a better group of guys. Everything went smoothly. Joe is very upfront with everything, competitively priced and communicates every step of the way. Highly recommend for ANY job.”

“Very pleased with the services received. Estimate was done next day. Joe was very responsive and the crew made sure to get things done in a timely fashion and make sure I was satisfied with the work completed.”

“As a contractor myself, we are held to a higher standard than any other industry. So when I was looking for a company to remove a very large and dangerous tree in my backyard. I knew I had to find someone who could held such a job and care that it was done right. So often when looking for good quality companies to do service work like this, we put more emphasis on what the dollar amount is than seeing value of what comes from that price. Sometimes quality is more but it’s always fair, and that’s what Joe and his team brought. Quality, professionalism, workmanship, and integrity. These guys are who you want.”

“I had them remove some invasive trees from my property. They seemed knowledgeable and did a good job for a better price than some other tree services quoted me.”

“Did canapy raise that was way overdue, cleared a bunch trash trees and bushes along the front of the house. I’m sorry I didn’t have before pics to show how overdue this was. NOT TO MENTION : 2 huge dead tree removals. All started and done in one 1 day. That’s impressive 👍🏼”

“Dapper sent a representative out to look at 2 piles of tree limbs that have been sitting in my front yard & my neighbor's front yard since June 2025. He took photos. I recently an estimate later that day. The estimate was very reasonable. They came out on Sunday and removed both piles. They cleaned up all limbs. They did a very thorough and speedy job.
