“We have had Mike and his crew from Top Cut Tree Service come out to our home in The Woodlands consistently for almost 20 years, for as long as we have lived here. They were first recommended to us by The Woodlands Chamber of Commerce, and they have never disappointed. Most recently, they came for an extensive trimming of our whole property and we are quite pleased with the results! Mike takes the time to walk around with you, listening carefully, understanding your needs and offering suggestions along the way. The crew was thorough and professional and we are very happy with the results as always. I highly recommend them.”

“I recently had Top Cut Tree Service come out and take care of a couple of dead trees and trim/shape some of my other trees. Mike Powers came out and gave me an estimate and I got a great price for the work. The men were professional and did an awesome job Including grinding the stumps and hauling away all the debris. I was very impressed with Mr. Power’s responsiveness in coming to my home to give me an estimate and getting the job done timely. I would highly recommend Top Cut Tree Service for any of your tree needs.”

“I hired Mike at Top Cut Trees to cut down one tree and clear one flowerbed at my mother's home for $1,150. When I met with Mike on March 27th, I explicitly told him that he needed to deal directly with me — not my mother — because she gets confused. He agreed. I signed the proposal for $1,150 worth of work. When Mike and his crew showed up on March 31st to do the work, I was not present. Despite my clear instructions, he took the opportunity to upsell my mother, who has dementia, on an additional $1,500 worth of unauthorized work. He then demanded full payment for everything. When I pushed back, Mike made a comment implying he knew what to do if we refused to pay — which I found threatening and alarming. This was not a misunderstanding. He was told directly to go through me. He chose to ignore that the moment her family wasn't there to protect her — a woman on a fixed income who I had specifically asked him not to conduct business with. I am sharing this so other families know. I would not wish this experience on anyone.”

“We had Mike and the crew trim our trees last week. Our trees haven’t been trimmed in many years and a lot of the branches were overhanging and touching our roof. The crew is very friendly and went out of their way to exceed our expectations. They did a very professional job and after cleanup, the only evidence that they were there was our nicely trimmed canopy of trees. Mike followed up to ensure we were happy with the work and crew. I highly recommend them.”

“The service and outcome is top notch from this company. My trees look fabulous and the service they provide is amazing and I never worry about things when they are handling the trimming and clean up. We have used them a couple times and recommend them to anyone who needs tree service especially before hurricane season!”

“Top Cut Tree Service came to give me an estimate the same day I called. They completed the work 5 days later. They did everything I asked, in the way I asked, provided recommendations about what I wanted to have trimmed and cut, and cleaned up afterwards. There are a few words to say they did an excellent job and I am pleased to have selected them to do this work.”

“The owner, Mike, came out within 24 hours to provide an estimate for the work I needed done. We were scheduled within 2 days of approving the estimate (and one day of that delay was on my end). His crew arrived on-time and hit the ground running. They did a fantastic job for a very good price and they were all very professional. This is a very well equipped company to deal with any of your tree needs. I can definitely recommend working with this company for skilled work at a great price.”

“I had a very large elm tree split and a couple of overgrown crepe myrtles that needed attention. Chris, Alex, Miguel, Sebastian and Ulysses did a beautiful job on trimming all of them! They were very professional, courteous and friendly. They made sure to clean up everything afterward. I am very happy with their work. My only complaint is Mike, the owner, didn't tell me beforehand that he only accepts cash. Luckily, I had it on hand. Be prepared so you won't be surprised like I was!”

“Professional SAFE work at a solid price! Mike's crew were considerate and careful when taking down trees around my house as well as being extremely careful around my French drains. I am very pleased and will be calling him back when the time comes.”

“After obtaining township removal permission the Top Cut Crew came and cut or trimmed six trees and stumps; then removed six large pines. Made short work of the entire job.”

“Because of the outstanding job Top Cut Tree Service provided, I was compelled to write a review. Mike the Owner came out and quickly provide us with a quote to remove a huge 80' Sweet Gum tree just 3 feet away from the back and a 50' Sweet gum in the front of the house . We were worried about branches falling on our home and damaging the roof. Mike assured us that they could remove the tree without damaging our home and they are insured in case of an accident. The crew showed up on the scheduled date and time, they were very professional and courteous. Wasn't long before the trees were gone and all debris were removed. They also ground the stumps below ground level and the cleanup job was perfection! I would highly recommend using Top Cut Tree Service and I will continue utilizing their services in the future!! Awesome Job Guys!”

“Mike was very responsive and came to our home and gave us a reasonable offer. His crew was very respectful and did a great job of trimming our trees. They cleaned up afterwards, even limbs that fell into the pool. I highly recommend their service and would use them again!!”

“Mike and his crew at Top Cut Tree Service are extremely professional and provide an excellent service. In my opinion Mike quotes a fair price, is always concerned that you are satisfied with the job. His crew is so efficient and they make sure that your yard is perfect when they complete the job. I would highly recommend Top Cut Tree and will continue to use them in the future.”

“I contacted the Owner Mike (who answers the calls) due to another Tree Cutting Service no showing on me multiple times. When I told Mike this, he came out thirty minutes later to provide me with an estimate. He communicated very well and left copies of his Insurance coverage information in case of accidents. His crew came out the next day and stayed until the job was done in the blistering August temperatures(they were very nice). Prices were VERY reasonable.”

“Top Cut Tree Service is a very reputable business. Mike is easy to work with and his crew are experienced, intuitive, cautionary and respectful. They have all the equipment they need for tree trimming and tree removal. And clean up at the end. We have used this business several times over the years, always with positive results.”

“Contact Tree Mike at Top Cut Tree Service if you looking for quality, service, price, on time and honor the quoted time and cost. Crew shows up in company vehicles wearing company uniforms with ample commercial trucks and equipment to do the job. Once all the trees are removed and trimmed the crew cleans up as if no one was here. They pick up and use a blower to clean. Thanks Tree Mike I will be using your company again and refer family and friends Craig H”

“Had such a great experience with Mike and his crew. They did such a great job on my trees. They did a huge amount of work in a small amount of time and at a more than reasonable cost. They left everything clean and tidy when they left. Thanh you Mike”

“Great work!! Price seems very reasonable for the work performed. Crew was professional, respectful and helpful. Mike came out quickly to give me an estimate and the crew returned the next day to remove my tree. They did a great job cutting the tree down, grinding the stump, and cleaning up afterwards. I will definitely use them again for any future work. Highly recommend TOP CUT TREE SERVICE. Thank you guys!!”

“Mike and his crew came out and removed a 75ft dead tree for us. They tree was 5ft from our home and difficult to get to. They were amazing. The crew is extremely efficient and professional. 10/10 would recommend them and will definitely be using them again. After the job was completed, everything was cleaned as if they were never there.”

“Excellent service. Top Cut took down three trees and trimmed up the other trees around the house. Very pleased with the job done and price paid. The crew did a great job cleaning up after themselves. I would highly recommend them for any tree trimming or tree removal you might need. I called a number of tree trimming services in the area. Two of them told me they would get back to me - never did. One was way overpriced. Top Cut responded, told me when they could come out and inspect the trees and then followed thru.”
