My Arborist!

My Arborist! runs as a tree service outfit in Denton, Texas, with Salvador Ortiz at the head as the certified arborist. The crew handles tree surveys, planting, pruning, removal, root pruning, cabling and bracing, stump grinding, and consultations. They sell firewood too and cover Denton along with nearby spots. Salvador fields the initial contacts and lines up the work based on what each property needs.

Homeowners bring them in for taking down dying trees near houses and fences, pruning peach trees and others with low branches, injecting trees hit by Emerald Ash Borer, grinding stumps after removals, and planting replacements in tight spots like backyards with fake turf. Crews also raise crowns on five trees at once, clear storm damage that blocks garages, trim mistletoe from post oaks and cedar elms, and handle cottonwoods up to eighty years old while saving sections for later use. In each case the work finishes without property damage and leaves the site ready for normal use.

Salvador answers emails and calls the same day for free estimates and often starts the next day. The team shows up on schedule, stays in touch during the job, works around power lines or tight corners with basic gear, and charges rates that line up with the scale of the task. They cover the Denton area, protect nearby structures during cuts, and make sure debris gets hauled off while good wood stays for firewood.

Google shows a five star rating from one hundred twenty three reviews. Reviewers point to the quick scheduling, the care taken with safety cones and property, the advice on keeping trees healthy, and the way the crew finishes with the yard looking untouched.

“My Arborist was absolutely fantastic! Communication, professionalism, and quality of work were outstanding. Safety was a top priority, both personal and property. In addition to keeping the crew safe, Salvador was exacting to avoid any property damage to my house. Couldn’t ask for better. Salvador and his crew removed an 80 year old cottonwood from my property in two days. Salvador advised me on the best course of action to take after my neighbors damaged the tree. Scheduling was easy and quick. The quality of work was impressive. You can tell Salvador and his crew take pride in their work. He accommodated my request to keep specific cross sections of the tree for future use. He also offered stump grinding, which helped a lot. The price was more than reasonable, too. The quote was half what I expected. I’ll use My Arborist again when it’s time to plant trees and care for them. I know future projects will be in good hands. Like my buddy who recommended My Arborist said, they’re worth every penny.”

“My Aborist was easy to work with. The employees were prompt, communicative and cleaned up well. They raised the crown, trimmed and disposed of trimmings on five trees and cut one down. Before, and after pictures of two of the trees included. Salvador monitored the work and contacted me several times during the day. He made sure I was satisfied at each communication. I’ve already recommended My Arborist to my neighbor for her tree. The price charged was reasonable for the amount of work My Arborist completed.”

“My Arborist came today to remove a tree from my back yard. (Just the tree no stump removal, although they do offer that part too)They were amazing! My yard has fake turf and the tree was in a tight corner, yet the took it out so fast and had no problems. They're definitely a great company to work with!”

“I first contacted My Arborist! in August about a tree that seemed to be dying. Salvador immediately called me, asked to see pictures and discuss what was needed for my tree. It has Emerald Ash Boars. Today he gave the tree an injection and removed the dead branches. He also trimmed a tree in the front that was over my neighbors drive and roof. For the first time I have had a tree company listen to my request, discussed my options and followed through in a timely manner and reasonable rate. I especially love that he is an arborist and knows what is best for my trees. My Arborist! will forever by my tree service!”

“Salvador Ortiz, aka My Arborist, and his team cut down our tree, removed debris, ground the stump and roots and planted a new tree. All this was done in less than five hours. They were meticulous in their work and their clean-up was spotless. Thank you, Salvador. I recommend them to everyone.”

“Mr. Ortiz responded quickly to my email. He came to my location and gave me a free estimate. We agreed on a plan to keep my tree healthy. Their crew showed up on time, properly equipped for safety and to complete the job. They placed safety orange cones around their equipment and work area in the street. His knowledge and experience was the reason I selected My Arborist. After completing the job he gave me some tips on pruning some other smaller trees on my property. I would recommend. Very Professional and service oriented. Thank you.”

“The gentleman were kind, helpful and made good suggestions to make our trees look better. They worked hard until everything was done. We were very happy with what they did.”

“Salvador’s Ortiz and his team did an amazing job removing a tree in our yard that was dying. They arrived as scheduled and got the tree down without incident even though they were working close to the house and other large trees and over our privacy fence. They also pruned our peach tree for us. They cleaned up meticulously. I’m so glad to have Salvador to call in the future for all of our arborist needs. He is very knowledgeable and professional and was generous in giving us advice about caring for our trees.”

“STELLAR JOB taking down one tree and pruning another. Good communicator. Salvador Ortiz has cultivated incredible skill in the art of assessing and taming a wild tree. Reasonable rates, values his customers and does exactly the job he promised. And he does it really, really well. He damaged nothing, and cleaned up everything! Truth-bomb: several large companies sent out salesmen who delivered high bids and had concerns re: proximity to power lines, their giant equipment wouldn't fit, a nearly dead tree was deemed possibly too dangerous to climb, etc. Then Salvador (with just one other man) safely and quickly felled that 30' tree FROM THE GROUND. LIKE A BOSS. BECAUSE HE IS ONE. It turned out climbing and large machinery weren't necessary for that tree if you knew exactly what you were doing. The trees are happy, I am happy! I highly recommend My Arborist!”

“Our trees had dead overgrowth and had never been pruned. The branches were so low that they would scrape the tops of the car when pulling in the driveway and you could touch the limbs when walking under them. Our trees now look wonderful and healthy. Salvador even made sure to protect the sparrow and the blue jay’s nest. They were professional, prompt, and cleaned up everything. Highly recommend.”

“MyArborist did an incredible amount of tree removal and trimming for me at a very reasonable price. The work was excellent and very professional. Diseased wood was carried off and good wood was saved for fire wood. The service was very courteous expeditious. I will definitely be using MyArborist for all my tree work in the future!”

“Salvador and his team are fantastic! This was my first experience with having trees trimmed at my house, and I wasn't sure where to begin. I received a recommendation to contact Salvador from My Arborist company. He came out to give me a free quote and educated me on how they trim trees. He explained what to look for, identified which branches needed to be removed, and indicated which ones could stay. Even when I changed my plans a few times, he remained positive and worked with me to achieve what I wanted. When they came out to do the work, they executed everything as promised. The trees look amazing, and what impressed me the most was how they left the yard looking pristine, as if they hadn’t even been there. Their professionalism was outstanding. I will definitely use Salvador again and highly recommend him to anyone in need of tree services.”

“These guys were great! I'd hire them again. They had a freak accident at the last large cut and the 14 foot tall "stump" rolled and fell in an unexpected direction. It did some damage to the fence but they had the fence fixed with new materials and looking identical to before within an hour! The crew leader felt so bad, despite already amending the wrong, he did a little unexpected work on some other nearby stumps that weren't properly removed by a different tree service years prior. They had the entire property pristine by the time they left. Very caring and professional and reasonable rate, too.”

“I recently had the pleasure of hiring My Arborist! for a tree removal and pruning services, and I couldn't be more impressed with the exceptional job they did. From start to finish, their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail were evident. Salvador arrived at the scheduled time. He conducted a thorough assessment of the trees, discussing with me his recommendations and ensuring I was comfortable with the plan. The tree removal process was executed with precision and care. They took great care to protect surrounding structures and landscaping while efficiently removing the trees. Throughout the project, communication was excellent. Salvador was responsive to any questions or concerns I had. I definitely would recommend My Arborist! for anyone in need of tree removal and pruning services. Their professionalism, expertise, and attention to detail make them the top choice in the industry. I will definitely be utilizing their services again in the future!”

“Absolutely amazing work! My mother’s tree was split during a recent storm and a massive part of the tree fell into her house, blocking the garage. She was quite scared and worried. Having dealt with MyArborist in the past, I called Salvador and he responded quickly. In the same day, he and his crew showed up and removed the fallen portion of the tree. They worked quickly and precisely taking great care not to put anyone or any property at risk. I cannot say enough of the quality, work ethic and performance of Salvador and his team. They have my respect and I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone needing work by a skilled arborist.”

“I worked with Sal at My Arborist to get advice on topiaries, stump grinding and tree pruning. Simply put, Sal was awesome to work with; he is friendly, cordial, professional and knowledgeable, and his prices were extremely reasonable. Throughout the process, there was excellent communication and guidance offered as I prepared for the projects to execute. Sal was able to work with my schedule and quickly took care of my job within maybe a week or so of initial contact. I’d highly recommend My Arborist for any tree removal or tree health/pruning services if you live in the Denton area and you want the job done correctly, done quickly, and done at a fair price!”

“My Arborist (Salvador and his crew) removed a stump from my property. They were fast, courteous and reasonably priced. Great communication and fantastic customer service. Highly recommend and would definitely use again. Thank you again! Julie Pfullmann”

“Salvador and his team did a first class job in pruning our trees. We have over 30 trees, mostly post oak and cedar elm. The big issue was a lot of mistletoe which is an invasive and harmful parasite. Our cedar elms had a lot but none on the oaks, thankfully. They were able to trim all mistletoe from the trees and needed to cut down only one. I highly recommend them for your tree maintenance. Plus, it’s a pleasure to watch them climb and work at treetops. Thank you.”

“Salvador did a great job on the trees in front of our house. He came the same day I called him for an estimate and did the job the very next day. He was professional and reasonably priced. Thanks so much!!!!! Would definitely recommend his services.”

“My Arborist is a team of professional tree care experts that can help you with all of your tree care needs. Salvador is very punctual and professional. He showed up on time, listened to our concerns, and gave us a fair quote for his services. We had him prune several trees in our yard, and he did an excellent job! He was very thorough and made sure to clean up after himself. I would definitely recommend Salvador Ortiz and My Arborist to anyone looking for a tree service!”
