Acadia Tree Care

Acadia Tree Care handles tree service work out of Garland, Texas. Jacob runs the operation as the main point of contact and certified arborist. The crew takes on trimming, pruning, full removals, stump grinding, and storm damage cleanup on large trees like live oaks. They handle both routine maintenance and urgent jobs after weather events, with Jacob often handling the initial site walk and quotes.

Customers call them for dead branch removal, shaping overgrown trees, clearing storm-fallen trees from roofs and yards, and general health work on mature oaks. Jacob and Rafael show up to assess options without pushing extra work, then the crew finishes the cut, grinds stumps when needed, and hauls away debris. Reviewers note the trees end up looking healthier and the yard returns to better shape than before the crew arrived. Biri handles some scheduling calls and explains the process in detail.

Jacob and the team respond fast to calls, often within days even after storms, and stick to the quoted price that undercuts others. They arrive on time, communicate clearly about the plan, protect the surrounding property, and finish quicker than expected. The crew chips branches on site, sweeps up thoroughly including neighbor yards in some cases, and does a final walk-through to confirm the owner is satisfied. Work covers the Garland area with no mention of set hours beyond prompt daytime arrivals.

Most reviews give five stars for the knowledge Jacob brings, the clean results, and the fair pricing, though one reviewer noted a partial stump job. Topics that repeat include quick quotes, respectful crews, and trees that look good afterward. DIRT Score 4.4 from 65 reviews on Finds.

“After a storm took out 3 of our large trees in the backyard, Jacob and his crew were quick to survey our damage and gave us an amazing price. The work was done quickly and efficiently and they were flexible and accommodating with our additional requests even after the work had been completed. They made a bad situation manageable Can't recommend this company enough.”

“It's a shame to leave a somewhat negative review because I had high hopes for our tree removal service. After a major tree in our front yard was badly damaged in a storm, Jacob was quick to respond, provided a quote fast, got on the phone with me to give me the right advice about what to do (trim or completely remove) and even made recommendations about trees to eventually replace the one we were losing. He's an arborist, so I learned a lot just in those few minutes on the phone together. He also undercut the competitors by at least $100, which sort of sealed the deal. Jacob sent a team out within a week and the tree was removed, the stump was ground, and for the job of "tree removal and stump grinding" it was an A+ job. His crew even chopped up and left us some firewood at my request. Upon packing up though, the crew damaged our concrete walkway with their stump grinder. They assured me that Jacob would take care of it and I was confident he would too based on my previous good experience with him. I texted him, and he immediately took responsibility and agreed to fix the concrete. Unfortunately, he kept making promises to send a crew out to patch up the concrete but then kept fla”

“Jacob and his team did a great job! They took down a 3 or 4 story tall oak tree that other people came a tried and couldn’t take care of. The Acadia company did awesome and cleaned up after there work. The only reason we know they were there is because the tree is no longer there. Thanks Jacob and team!”

“Jacob has helped us twice over the past year with tree trimming and a complete removal from the last storm in May 2024. He has always given us an amazing price and quick response when we had a tree on our roof. The crews are professional, polite and always on time. They listen to concerns and honor requests. We will definitely be using them for all our tree services going forward!!”
