I felt very confident that they had my best interest in consideration, which was to prioritize preserving the tree and to ensure it's long term health. “Unprofessional. Showed up at a time that I was not at home when I was specific and said i needed to be home and proceeded to hack at my trees randomly and without any sense.. cut the wrong trees and left the bad ones.. will never hire them or anyone who recommends them. They caused me a lot of distress through out and after they ruined my yard.. Let me update the review.. the account is under my fiancé name as she set it up based on the advice of some people.. they came here and made assumptions the tree was sick and had root issues.. see the picture of the tree before they hacked it all down. This was a super healthy established tree over 15 inches diameter trunk and a majestic shade canopy over the backyard in Texas heat.. they left tree branches in the front yard that actually needed to be cut and cut this beautiful tree and ruined my backyard.. terrible advice. Terrible communication showing up without notice and just extremely disappointing... the value of this established tree at its age and canopy in that setting would be in the tens of thousands of dollars.. also not to mention they removed the planter stones and left them in a mess and i had to redo that wall again... wow”

“Happy with the tree trimming, not happy with the cleanup. I had 5 mature oak trees trimmed. I spent a solid hour the next day cleaning up all the sticks and green leaf debris left all over the place. They blew off the walkways, but just blew the debris up against my house and behind my AC unit. The tees look much better and the overall price was reasonable, but the cleanup needs improvement. The arborist and lead tree tech, however, were both very professional and knowledgeable.”

“Texas Tree Surgeons performed a difficult removal of a large red oak spanning over my and my neighbor's houses without any apparent damage to either property, so kudos to their team for executing well on that. I also want to thank their crew for lending me some jumper cables as one of my car batteries just happened to fail that morning and it was parked in the vicinity of their work site. That said, I do have some issues with their service: 1) On the day they were scheduled to come - which I had arranged to be off work to meet and talk with them first - they had to suspend work after only about 30 minutes. The arborist in charge of the job told me it was because they had brought the "wrong equipment" and mentioned something about a scheduling conflict and they would return the following day. They did, with what appeared to be very similar equipment. Not sure why that couldn't have been discerned from when the arborist conducted his initial inspection and prepared the quote.... Not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. 2) After they ground up the stump, they left 1-2 cubic yards of mulch and debris (in picture), which they then told me would be my responsibility, and then of”

Our insurance company was requesting we trim our trees back three foot back off of our roof or we would get dropped and gave us a short deadline. “Will and Raul at Texas Tree Surgeons are a great couple of individuals to work with. We had to get several trees pruned with canopies raised, one tree removed and the stump ground, and general cleanup along a fence line. Although that was the final scope of work, we modified it several times between the initial bid and the scheduled day. Will was very gracious to accommodate those changes. When Raul and his crew arrived, they immediately got to business, not wasting any time. They paid attention to every detail, making sure that exactly what we asked for was done. All of the work was completed in about an hour, and they cleaned up very nicely afterwards. We have used their services several times, and their prices have always been reasonable compared to other companies. They absolutely care about the health of the trees, and will only trim and prune what is necessary. We will certainly use them in the future for any tree-related work, and we wholeheartedly recommend them.”
