“We chose this company because of its great ratings & the fact that it’s right down the street from us. We also like that it’s a local family owned company. We sent an email with a few questions & received a response very quickly, which was appreciated. Their pricing was comparable to other companies we looked at. The only thing that was a little confusing at first was that they sell by the yard instead of by the ton, but once that was explained, it wasn't an issue. The delivery process was quick & easy, & the woman who made the delivery was incredibly friendly. Overall, it was a great experience, & we would definitely use them again.”

“From time to time I have to buy gravel for my driveway. I took my two grandsons with me to Caballero's. I asked if we could look around and they said yes. The boys had a great time examining each pile of rocks, stones, sand and gravel. Along the way they picked up two large rocks. Caballero's was kind enough to give the boys the rocks. I went to the window and places my order. They were great in helping me determine how much I needed to order. Delivery was on time and dumped where I needed it. Great experience.”

“If you are ordering Dyno dirt to mix with masonry sand for leveling your lawn, please beware. Good service, fast delivery, and reasonable prices. However, despite these positives, I am compelled to give them only three stars. I ordered 5 yards of Dyno Dirt and Masonry Sand to level my front and back yards. When they delivered the materials and dumped them on my driveway, I immediately noticed that the Dyno Dirt contained a lot of mulch. This was unexpected, as I anticipated screened and smooth dirt. While I understand that mulch will eventually degrade, customers should be informed that the dirt contains mulch and rocks. Because of this issue, I likely won't use this company again. When I asked the driver about the mulch, he explained that the mulch and dirt are stored next to each other at their yard and sometimes get mixed. This explanation was not satisfactory.”

“Caballero gets 5 stars, but the delivery guy Eddy (we nicknamed him Hercules) gets 10!!! When he got to the house the space in the fence wasn’t wide enough so we had to take out the support pole. My wife and I were struggling with the teen foot, cemented pole, and Eddy walks up, bear hugs it, and pulls it out of the ground for us. Then while dumping the dirt he got out a shovel and helped us move it around the raised garden bed so that it would overflow into the ground. He didn’t have to be asked, just got out and started helping. The whole process only took about 20 minutes but if Eddy wasn’t there I can confidently say it would have been an hour minimum! Thanks Eddy!!! You’re the best!”

“After looking for a store that was open on saturday, this place was the only place around me open. Pulled up 30 minutes prior and they helped loading with fines base. This store has the best mix FINE BASE, compared to the other two stores I bought from. They are friendly with resonable price”

“I am thrilled with my recent 1" limestone gravel!! , The 10 yard delivery was on time and dropped perfectly. In the past to save a buck by getting the cheapest thing I could find, I had tried other gravel places for road base, etc.. and it was either so mushy and never set up after it rained, contained way more sand than rock or the load was light and not a full 10 yards. After using Caballero the first time, I realized their prices are very competitive and the quality of their product is outstanding. I will continue to only use them for my gravel, soil and sand as they have always exceeded my expectations. I am speaking from experience as I have lived here 29 years and have had my driveway done a few times as well as several other projects requiring dirt, etc.. This is a great company!!”

“Great customer service. Called and ordered 7 yards of masonry sand to level my yard and it was delivered 2 days later. The reason for the 3 stars is because the sand had a whole lot of big chunks of clay and rocks. I can understand a few, but there was way too much. This is not what you want when trying to level your yard. I would suggest driving out to their location to inspect the product before ordering. Unfortunately, I will not be ordering masonry sand from them again for my next levelling session.”
