Benavides Tree Trimming & Removal

Benavides Tree Trimming & Removal operates in Lubbock, Texas, with Matthew leading the crew on tree trimming, tree removal, stump grinding, and emergency service calls. The business covers residential and commercial properties across the city and surrounding West Texas areas. Reviewers note that the team handles both routine maintenance and urgent situations such as storm damage or trees resting on power lines. Matthew provides quotes after photos or site visits and coordinates the work with a local staff that includes arborists focused on safe cutting and clearing.

Customers describe jobs that include removing massive cottonwood trees in under four hours with stump grinding included, trimming back overgrown elm trees at event centers, clearing three large trees near pools, and cutting back rose bushes along with hedges. Other work covers live oak trees at thirty feet, multiple crape myrtle trees, and dead branch removal on six trees at once. In each case Matthew and the crew finish by raking leaves, loading limbs into trailers, and leaving yards and neighboring properties free of debris. One job involved a tree that had already fallen onto a home, while another required staking a leaning tree to correct its growth.

Reviewers report that quotes arrive within twenty-four hours and crews often start the next day or even the same weekend. Emergency responses can reach a property in one hour with a full crew. Pricing stays at the quoted amount even when trees prove larger than expected, and some customers receive payment arrangements. Communication includes phone updates and photos of finished work when owners are off site. The team works efficiently, arrives on time, and hauls everything away without extra charges for cleanup.

“I highly recommend Benavides Tree Trimming. Matthew and his team of workers were very professional, polite and respectful. He listened to my questions and concerns about my trees and answered them completely. The price was very reasonable. He takes pride in his work and it shows. My trees look so much better and will be able to grow more evenly and healthy in the future. They raked and cleaned up all the leaves, tree branches and small twigs when they finished. If you need help with your trees give him a call. I know you will be pleased.”

“Matthew and his team did an excellent job for me on a very massive, overgrown and dangerous tree. He quoted me by phone after I sent a picture, but that picture did not tell the full story of the tree. He kept the price as quoted and still made my tree safe, trimming back much more than he anticipated. They were quick and efficient, loaded and cleaned up as they worked. I will definitely be calling them back in the future. The first two photos are before- a massive branch snapped and was hanging over a power line and resting on a branch of another tree. Last photo is after they cleaned it up.”

“This team was so professional and incredibly hard working!! Hire them! I had a huge cottonwood tree that needed to be removed and they did it in under 4 hours with stump grinding. I was blown away. All the crew was polite and helped clean up not only my yard but my neighbors from the debris.”

“I needed 3 large trees that were too close to my pool removed. They had them removed and everything cleaned up in just under an hour. Fabulous job and very reasonable. I highly recommend them. I’m having them re-landscape my front flower beds as well. Can’t wait for them to get that job completed. Matthew had some great suggestions to reduce water usage and minimize maintenance. I’ll post before and after of the landscape once completed. Again, I highly recommend!”

“Got a quote within 24 hours, and they got all of my trees trimmed next day (6 total). They cleaned up and hauled everything off in their trailer. I love how much better they look after being trimmed. They also staked a tree for me that was starting to grow at an angle. Price was more than reasonable. Thank you for taking care of us!”

“The prices were very reasonable, also offered payment arrangements and they were safe, professional, and very conscientious of the property. They were timely and had great communication throughout the entire process. Since I was away from the property, they kept me updated by sending photos of the completed job and the cleanup afterward. I would definitely contact them again and highly recommend their services!”
