C+K Tree Care

C+K Tree Care handles tree work in Lubbock, Texas. Cody runs the company and takes care of trimming, full removals, and stump removal for homeowners around town. Reviews note that the crew shows up as a veteran and locally owned outfit that sticks to the jobs people actually need done on their properties.

Customers bring them in for trees that are half dead with big branches hanging over roofs and neighboring yards, out of control trees that have grown wild, old pecan and red oak trees left alone for decades, dying locust trees near power lines and block fences, and sudden falls onto houses. Cody has taken on trimming and shaping requests on bushes and shrubs too, plus stump grinding after removals. In each case he has listened to what the owner wanted, such as saving the live half of a tree rather than removing it all, and finished with yards that look better and stay clean.

They answer calls fast and often give quotes the same day, even in cold weather. Cody confirms the work the day before, arrives on time or early, gets right to it, and makes sure every bit of debris is hauled off. Reviewers say the prices stay reasonable, the crew works quick without damage to fences or lines, and they keep their word on what they will do and when.

All the reviews rate the work at the top mark for showing up when promised, leaving no mess, and producing results that hold up at a fair cost. The main points that come up again are reliability, solid cleanup, and trees that end up looking right. DIRT Score 4.5 from 29 reviews on Finds.

“Great and caring service from Cody! We just purchased a house where one of the trees in the backyard is half dead. Another tree company told us they thought we just cut the whole tree down, but even though there were a lot of big dead branches, the other half of the tree seems very much alive so we wanted to try to save it. Before Cody came over we requested proof of insurance which he promptly sent over. We were worried that some of the bigger branches overhung part of our roof and our neighbors yard so we wanted to be protected. We liked that from the outset Cody listened to our wishes about saving the tree and not just cutting it down. He explained what type of trees we had and showed us what was happening to the half dead tree to cause its problems. After his quote we hired him to do the job, but before he left he got to work straightaway treating the tree against the borer bugs killing the tree. He came back about a week later with his team and they did a great job of cutting away the dead branches. They removed everything they cut down and did a great job of clearing up after the work was done. They also gave the tree another treatment before they left. Another tree in our ya”

“Cody and his team were amazing! I called and requested a quote for trimming our two trees and received a call back with estimate the same day. That might not seem like a big deal, but a lot of companies don’t follow through with a call back or estimate. Cody called the day before to confirm the appointment and showed up early, did a great job and cleaned up the yard after trimming the trees. Everything looks great! Very professional, kind, honest and dependable!”

“We have had Cody and his crew complete two tree trimming jobs at our home. Both times he and his crew were excellent. They arrived on time, got right to work, and left our yard totally clean after finishing up. We would definitely recommend them to anyone wanting professionals at a reasonable price. Couldn’t be happier.”

“C&K tree service did an excellent job removing a tree and two additional tree stumps. Cody and his team were very professional and explained exactly what they would be doing with the tree removal process. Cody made sure to contact me the day before the scheduled service to make sure I didn’t have any additional questions, and to remind me of my scheduled service. They did a great job cleaning my yard after the removal. I am very pleased with his services and would highly recommend C&K for any tree service needs.”

“We had a 60? yr old locust tree in our backyard that was dying a fast death. Problem was it hovered over electric service lines to our house, and over our neighbors house. Another problem is we have a cinder block, not wood, fence/wall. Cody and crew came out and removed the tree with no damage to any of said obstacles. Safety, knowledge, and extreme professionalism prevailed. They also did an outstanding job cleaning up. If you need tree work done, there's only one stupid thing you could possibly do. That would be to NOT hire C and K. Theses guys are the best, period!”

“Cody provided excellent service! He responded promptly and did great work. We would definitely call him again for tree cutting services.”
