Mr Speedy Gonzalez

Mr Speedy Gonzalez operates a tree service and lawn care company based in Lubbock, Texas. Juan runs the day to day work and provides tree trimming, tree removal, mulching, landscaping, fall cleanup along with regular mowing and edging. The business takes on both residential yards and larger properties, handling everything from single tree jobs to full property maintenance. Customers reach the company by phone or message for estimates on these services in the local area.

Reviews describe crews arriving to fix neglected or overgrown lawns after other providers failed to show, clearing heavy leaf and acorn buildup, hauling away debris, and removing multiple trees in under a day. Juan and his team have trimmed bushes to a clean shape, repaired fences, disposed of junk, and restored yards that had been left untouched for long periods. Homeowners note that the work leaves properties looking groomed and that even large half acre lots receive the same level of attention as smaller ones.

The company responds quickly to calls and messages, often arriving the next day or within twenty four hours for urgent tree work. Juan sends reminder texts a couple days ahead and again on the scheduled date, follows up with photos once a job finishes, and keeps customers updated on arrival times. Reviewers mention fair and reasonable pricing, consistent visits every two weeks without prompting, and crews that work efficiently while still covering details such as edging and full debris removal across the Lubbock area.

“So last year after talking to a few companies about cleaning up my leaves in my big front yard I decided to go with Mr. Speedy Gonzalez he gave me the best price and I was impressed with him overall and he did an amazing job and fast! So I hired him to do my yard over the summer and my yard had never looked better so thorough! When I come home I sit there and smile for a few minutes and admire it !! I’m a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to my yard. Jaun is a great guy!!”

I messaged him 2 days after the regular mower ghosted my jungle!!! He was quick to respond and didn’t bullshit about price or availability. His team came the following afternoon and slayed!!! Juan riding this standing mower like a hover board, stopping take calls is badass, his team knocking out the beast ! Everyone knew their roles and they worked together beautifully to quickly save my ex boyfriends yard ! I’m so glad they came thru , it’s the day before I moved out!! It was such a beautiful way to leave my favorite place to be! they even worked carefully around the corn that accidentally grew from bird seed. Thats love! Shit I didn’t take a picture before I moved but it was beautiful”

“I started using Juan this past summer. I live on a half acre with a large yard. He would mow, edge and weed eat every two weeks. He does a fantastic job and the yard always looked beautiful afterwards. He also did fence repairs and leave disposal for me. Always looks great and cleans up after anything he’s done.”

“Juan worked extremely hard to get the job done within the time frame he estimated. His communication throughout the whole process was great. The quality of work was above expected and we will definitely be hiring him again for any future lawn care needs. We are thankful to have our lawn back. Thanks Juan!”

“I love having Mr. Gonzalez work on my lawn. The lawn is trim and looks great, the leaves are all collected and disposed of, and my porches are clean when he's finished. He always reminds me that he'll be here, he texts me when he's on his way, and he responds to any texts I send. When he trimmed my bushes, they looked perfect. He's wonderful, and I definitely recommend him.”

“We used Juan and he was absolutely amazing! Very fast and did a great job. Very nice also and understood want we wanted on such a short notice. Would highly recommend if you are looking for lawn care!!”

“He’s been doing my yard work for three years (seasons). I’ve had two other people/businesses in the past that were very inconsistent. However, Juan always sends a reminder text a couple days before as well as the day of. His work is outstanding and he’s very professional. He has the best equipment and can do anything you ask! I like that he doesn’t rush through the job. I’ve employed some yard work companies that practically run behind the mower to be finished quickly, not paying attention to the details. However, this isn’t how Juan operates at all. When he is done he usually sends me a picture to show he’s finished, which I really appreciate. You will not be disappointed in hiring him to be in charge of your yard!!”
