Tyler Campbell Tree Service

Tyler Campbell Tree Service handles tree work in Lubbock, Texas. Tyler Campbell runs the company and takes on tree removal, pruning, trimming, stump grinding, planting, and emergency storm damage repair. The crew shows up for both small jobs like branch removal and bigger ones like taking down large trees that threaten homes or have died off. They also handle cleanup after each job so the property is left clear.

Customers call for help with overgrown oaks that block light, dead elms that need full removal, pecans covered in suckers and dead wood, and rotted trees that pose safety risks. Tyler and the crew have cut large limbs to firewood length, saved sections of trunk for owners who wanted to keep part of a tree, and trimmed multiple trees on one property in a single day. Reviews note the work left grass with more sunlight, made trees look taller and healthier, and finished without damage to surrounding areas even when the job ran longer than planned.

Tyler often arrives the same day or within 24 hours for a quote and gets the crew scheduled quickly after. They work in rain when needed, keep owners updated if running behind, and charge prices described as reasonable or fair for the size of the job. The service covers the Lubbock area with crews that clean up completely and treat each yard like their own. One reviewer mentioned a short phone call that ended abruptly, but most note clear communication and crews that show up when promised.

Google shows 4.8 from 45 reviews with frequent mentions of fast response, solid prices, skilled trimming and removal, and thorough cleanup after every visit. Tyler Campbell Tree Service earns a DIRT Score 4.5.

“Tyler and his crew were very reasonable on the pricing of removing some very large Elm trees for me and worked during the rain to make sure the job was completed! If your looking to have trees removed give Tyler and his crew a call! Thanks Tyler”

“I challenged Tyler with a pretty big project. I think he would agree, he might have got in a little over his head, and it took longer than anticipated. The important part is he got it done. And I am grateful.”

“Tyler Campbell Tree Service did an amazing job! I reached out on Friday and these trees were down before Sunday afternoon. They were courteous of the property and cleaned everything up completely. Highly recommend and I won’t use anybody else!”

“Very polite, transparent, and respectful. Came by the same day I called to ask about getting a quote, got the quote to me the next day and got scheduled that day. Got the tree down the next week and was even willing to cut the large limbs down to firewood length for me without making it an upcharge. Treated my property as if it was their own. Would give 10/10 stars if it was an option.”

“Tyler Campbell Tree Service came to my property and trimmed 5 trees. I was able to have them trimmed to my satisfaction. Easy to work with, and fair price. Outstanding cleaning after the job. Definitely recommend.”

“We own a small forest and then our kids have another. Tyler and I walked the properties and he talked about what he would do and what needed to be done. The two large pecans were filled with suckers and poorly trimmed branches and dead branches. The oaks were just filled; the small one, now a beautiful tree, was thought by one of us not to be worth trimming but “should be taken out.” It’s now one of our favorites. But admittedly after Tyler’s work it’s hard to choose. Tyler (and his crew) arrived when he said he would, worked and worked, and cleaned up after himself. Beautifully done. And you can tell when someone has the skill and competence to do a job. What Tyler brings is all that but he also brings a love for doing this amazing work. He’s certainly in charge of our forest as we move forward.”

“Just wanted to say thank you to Tyler and his incredible team! We unfortunately had to cut down one of our beautiful trees because it had rotted out. Tyler knew it could be dangerous and wanted to take care of it promptly and safely. While we were so sad to lose it he was able to save a lot of the trunk for us so we could still enjoy what was left. He also took care of trimming the rest of the trees on our property and they are all so beautiful and going to grow better than ever now. Thanks again for taking such good care of our family!”

“Excellent and immaculate service! I can't say enough to express how pleased I am to have worked with Tyler Campbell and crew! They weren't my first call, but I am so glad the first didn't show up! Tyler Campbell Tree Service is now my first and last call!”

“Trimmed both of our Texas Oaks in one day. Much more sunlight for the grass now. Tyler and his crew are very professional and they did a great job. 10/10 would recommend to anyone.”

“Tyler and his crew were awesome. I called for a quote and he was there in less than 30 minutes. I had a large elm tree that needed several branches removed. His team was fast & efficient.”

“10/10 recommend - they are super kind, professional, hard working, an definitely know what they’re taking about when it comes to trees! Will definitely have them take care of our trees from now on.”

“Absolutely terrible customer service. I was on the phone for not even one minute, couldn’t get my questions out before I was hung up on and then calls ignored. Absolutely crazy. He didn’t hear the words he wanted to hear and hung up. I would say you guys very much need to work on that because it’s not how you treat new customers. Proof of call log attached.”

“Did a fantastic job! Very professional and the team was efficient and left no mess behind. Definitely recommend!!”

“Tyler and his crew did a great job taking care of our trees. They worked quickly and carefully all day. They are very affordable and professional and we cannot thank them enough. 100% recommend.”

“We got the best tree service, not only did Tyler respond on a timely manner, he also kept us informed if they were running behind. Sooo very polite and professional. After cutting the branches, they cleaned up. The price was very reasonable, we will use them again in the future and we highly recommend his services.”

“This company provided great, quick service. Tyler was kind and compassionate. He did a great job cleaning up. I would recommend this young man and his company to anyone who needs any tree removed. Awesome experience.”

“Tyler did a great job trimming my oak trees. They went from looking overgrown, drooping, and sad to trimmed, they look much taller, and the end result really brightens ms the property. He also removed a tree that was no longer living. He worked efficiently and safely. He communicates very well and always came to do the work when he said he would. The cost of services is appropriate for the amount of work completed and the quality of the work. I appreciate his services and would recommend him to anyone. Thanks Tyler.”

“Good price to take out a huge mulberry tree that was about 80% dead, trim up a huge pecan and an oak tree. Very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly! Did a great cleanup as well. I highly recommend them!”

“Tyler and his crew did an amazing job. Came out very fast, got the tree down with no problems and did a meticulous clean up job.”

“We needed a large tree (~60 ft) taken down; also a large limb from our magnolia. Tyler came out to give an estimate within 24 hours; his quote was significantly better than the two others we received. Within a few days, the job was done. Tyler and his crew did an excellent job and, when it came to the magnolia, Tyler was careful in regard to our concern for the tree’s health. Highly recommend.”
