Cleartex - Forestry Mulching & Land Clearing

Cleartex handles forestry mulching and land clearing from its base in Magnolia, Texas. The company works across the Greater Houston area including Harris, Montgomery, Fort Bend, Waller and nearby counties. It takes on residential lots, acreage properties and commercial sites, using heavy equipment to remove underbrush, trees and overgrowth while keeping soil in good shape. David runs the day-to-day work on most jobs and handles both small residential clearings and larger commercial projects.

Homeowners and property managers call on Cleartex for overgrown lots, retention pond banks in tight spots, fence-line paths, driveway access and thick yaupon patches. Several jobs involved walking the full property first to mark what stays and what gets cleared. One project opened 1.5 acres of neglected woods, another finished a challenging pond area, and others cleared brush so new construction or fencing could start. Results left the land usable and looking transformed without extra cleanup needed.

Reviewers note fast response times, often next-day site visits, clear updates during the work and fair pricing that stayed within budget. David stays in touch with photos and progress notes, returns the next day if any small fix comes up after payment, and keeps crews punctual and efficient on one-day jobs. The company covers the listed counties and works on both residential and commercial sites without long delays.

All listed reviews give five-star marks. Common points include David’s direct manner, steady communication, attention to detail on property lines and solid results on both big and small jobs.

“David was absolutely amazing to work with. From start to finish, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was done exactly how we wanted. He took the time to walk the property with me, double-checking throughout the project to ensure every area we wanted mulched was addressed. His attention to detail, communication, and professionalism were outstanding. It’s clear he takes a lot of pride in his work, and the results exceeded our expectations. I truly couldn’t recommend anyone better for forestry mulching and land clearing services. If you’re considering hiring him, don’t hesitate. You’ll be glad you did!”

“David deserves 11 stars. He was courteous, straightforward, and easy to work with from start to finish. Before his equipment cleared 1.5 acres of neglected wooded land, David took the time to walk the property with me and carefully identify which areas to clear and which to leave natural. The equipment made quick work of the fence line, and the overall transformation was incredible—the property looks like a completely different parcel. Honestly, it feels like an “extreme makeover: forestry edition.” After payment, we noticed a minor issue, and David came back the very next day to take care of it without hesitation. That kind of follow-through is rare—most contractors are hard to reach once the job is done, but David stood by his work and handled it within 24 hours. Highly recommended.”
