Surprisingly, Advanced was more affordable for full-day trimming and tree removal than my previous provider. They did an excellent job, using the chipper and leaving everything spotless. Rick and Nikki are very knowledgeable about trees, understanding what’s needed to keep them healthy and thriving. The Treesentials crew is very skilled at applying the treatment and leaving the work area in great condition. “Do not recommend this company. They did not send an aborist who was on advertisement. For my tree condition, Someone came but did not know much about the trees. He informed very basic stuff most of garden lovers know ex, install mulch further from the trunk. Then, he told me to pay $95 because he traveled for 30 minutes. That is their system. No certified aborist (aborists have their name and certificate number on their business card, but the guy name and the aborist name on the card is not the same), no useful information, charge for their trip.”

“When Advanced Tree & Shrub Care says “We Save Sick Trees”, this isn’t just a catchy slogan. They are literally saving our big 129-year-old fruitless mulberry tree. We purchased our home 4 years ago and noticed our mulberry tree looked sick – tons of weeping which, was only the first sign. Dr. Z diagnosed our tree and made a treatment plan for it. The improvement we’ve seen with care from the Advanced Tree team is nothing short of amazing. Each year, the tree has progressively less weeping, drastic reduction in the size and number of branches and limbs falling, and it has been able to keep more leaves on later into fall/winter. The first year we were here it started dropping leaves in July and was bare by August. This past year leaf drop was normal and in sync with others. “I have used Advanced Tree & Shrub Care for many years to take care of trees and large shrubs (yaupon holly, crepe myrtle). Excellent care including trimming as needed five large trees in front yard. No broccoli trees, but very natural shapes. When we get the occasional high windstorms, my trees rarely loose a limb whereas big limbs and whole trees are damaged in my neighborhood. Overall care program has kept everything exceptionally healthy, including timely advice and suggestions from outstanding arborist.”

“I had 5 trees in need of trimming. I had too many low branches, so aesthetically they weren't optimum. In addition the grass wasn't growing well under the trees and they were too low over the sidewalk. Advanced Tree & Shrub provided an estimate for trimming the 5 tress, which I thought was reasonable. I had to cancel the first scheduled appointment to trim because my back yard was a pond after one of our recent rains. Megan rescheduled my work. They crew arrived on time, and performed the work. The crew of three did a good job. They removed the lower branches, thinned out the trees where needed and shaped the trees nicely. The crew also cleaned up their mess very well. The crew was personable, very polite and responded to some special requested. I can recommend Advanced Tree & Shrub for your tree trimming needs. Their price is reasonable, they arrive on time, the crew is polite, they do excellent work, and then they clean up the mess. Can't ask for more.”

“I was looking for an arborist to check in on my new 6 foot tall trees to make sure they have a strong lead and appropriately spaced lower branches to support decades of healthy growing. The receptionist told me there was a $95 assessment charge to get a quote. I think this is reasonable. She then said that this does not include trimming. She quoted $270 “for the truck to leave the garage” because they “run a three man crew”. This is not a reasonable fee for a tree with branches that can be reached from the ground and none larger than my thumb. I think $365 for minutes worth of advice is ridiculous especially when I can cut the branches myself. She wasn’t particularly friendly, almost discouraging my business, so I did not attempt to ask any further questions. I can easily trim the branches myself. I just needed professional guidance on what branches to trim. Seems like the arborist would be willing to make $100 bucks for taking 10 minutes to show me what branches to snip.”

“We had them out to remove a tree and grind the stump out. The tree removal guys were very friendly, did a great job and left no mess. We had a small issue with the root grind but the company made everything right for us. We could not ask for better service and I highly recommend them and know they stand behind their work.”
