Ortiz Tree service

Ortiz Tree Service operates out of McKinney, Texas, with Jose running the crew that handles tree trimming, removals, stump grinding, canopy raising, and debris cleanup. The team shows up with trucks and chippers to handle multiple trees or bushes on residential properties, including dead tree removal and shaping work after storms. Reviews note Jose stopping by neighborhoods to offer quick estimates on the spot before crews return the same day or soon after to finish.

Customers describe jobs such as trimming six trees plus privacy bushes to improve looks and reduce risk, thinning out heavy branches inside tall trees, raising canopies on oaks to let sunlight reach yards below, pulling mistletoe, and grinding stumps after cutting down dead trees near fences or houses. Crews also clear storm damage, open up overgrown trees, and shape crepe myrtles while keeping work away from roofs and landscaping. Outcomes include yards left free of leaves and limbs, trees that hold up better in wind, and properties that look maintained without extra effort from owners.

Jose and the crew respond fast, often arriving the next business day or within hours of a call, and they communicate clearly before, during, and after each job. Pricing comes across as fair with no surprises once work starts, and they complete tasks efficiently using ropes to lower sections safely around structures. Cleanups stand out as thorough every time, with matching shirts, safety cones, and full debris removal before trucks leave. Work stays local to McKinney and nearby spots where crews already operate.

“I recently hired this tree trimming service, and they truly surpassed all my expectations! The team arrived punctually, fully prepared, and clearly demonstrated their expertise. They meticulously trimmed 6 trees and privacy bushes surrounding my home, enhancing both the aesthetics and safety of my property. What stood out to me the most was the professionalism and respect exhibited by the entire crew. They took their time to ensure the job was done correctly, without hurrying or damaging my landscaping. Every branch and piece of debris was thoroughly cleaned up, leaving my yard immaculate. The pricing was fair and transparent from the outset. I now feel significantly more confident about the state of my trees. If you're in need of dependable, high-quality tree trimming, these are the professionals to contact. I will certainly be utilizing their services again in the future! Thanks Jose Ortiz and his team for an outstanding service.”

“Absolute tree ninja's! Three guys went up inside the tree to thin it out and removed some branch weight, thinned it out, looks great. Call these guys, they showed up w a crew and truck shredder did the work right then. Highly recommended, did such a great job I paid them more than the quoted amount.”

“We had Jose and his crew here to trim our trees today and they did a great job. Last week's storm tore a few hearty branches off. I'm confident they'll weather the next storm. Additionally, Jose and crew have been trimming our trees for atleast 4 years. They are always prompt and always clean up.”

“Based on recommendations from others, we used Ortiz Tree Services a couple of years ago and called them again this year to do more of our trees. We are so happy with their work! The trees look so much nicer, the canopies are raised and opened up so our yard below actually gets some sunlight. We are much less worried about limbs (or the whole tree!) coming down from a windstorm. Jose is great to work with and he & his crew are very prompt/punctual. They did an excellent job in cleaning up after they were done. I felt the price was very fair and the overall experience was top notch. Highly recommend.”

“Jose and his team did an excellent job on our trees. He came out yesterday to give a very fair and affordable quote, then came first thing today to do the job. We had our large trees in front and back trimmed, plus the crepe myrtles. He also cut down and ground the stump of the crepe myrtle we had in the front. The team had great attention to detail, and we’ll be using them in the future for sure! You can’t go wrong with Ortiz Tree Services.”

“Jose and his crew are top notch, they did a great job trimming back two very large Oak trees in my front yard. I have some specific direction on what I wanted, but also gave them a lot of leeway to clean up and thin out the trees, and they did an excellent job. Highly recommend!”
