Slade's Tree and Landscaping

Slade's Tree and Landscaping runs tree service and landscaping work out of Midland, Texas. Slade handles the company and they take on both residential and commercial jobs. Services cover tree trimming and pruning, tree removal, stump work, garden bed clean outs, xeriscaping, lawn sod, and general yard maintenance. The outfit stays licensed and insured and draws on more than 25 years of experience in the area. They also list Odessa among the communities they serve.

Customers describe tree and stump removals that finished on schedule and at the quoted price, with full yard clean up afterward. Slade and the crew cleared neglected garden beds, shaped plants, and treated oak trees for common issues. One front and side yard xeriscape job saw grass push through the weed guard within days and the material pull back from the curb, with a promised return visit for fixes and weed treatment that did not occur. Other jobs left large dead pines gone, bushes trimmed, and properties looking maintained, with the crew keeping gates secure around dogs during the work.

They answer calls and texts quickly and often complete jobs the same day the estimate is approved. Work stays inside the agreed price and timeline, with service reaching Midland and nearby spots. The crew shows up prepared, moves at a steady pace, and leaves sites clear of debris once finished.

The company carries a 4.6 rating on Google. Feedback points to solid results on tree care and beds, crews that stay polite and work fast, and thorough clean up after each visit. The same notes on quality trimming, pruning, and yard results appear across multiple accounts.

“Terrible contractor. I had Slade xeriscape my front and side yards. Grass began growing through weed guard and rock within 3 days of job completion. Seems of the weed guard began pulling back from the curb within a month. Slade promised to fix the issues, treat for weeds, and bring more boulders and granite. We had dates set of 1/15/2025 and 1/16/2025. He no showed and has ignored my my calls and texts. Save your time and money get another contractor.”
