Davis Tree Service

Davis Tree Service takes care of tree trimming, removal, stump grinding, root collar excavation, cabling and bracing, deep root fertilization and emergency calls around Montgomery, TX. Ryan Davis runs the company as a certified arborist and keeps the outfit licensed and insured. They operate Monday through Saturday from 8am to 6pm and offer free estimates on jobs that range from routine pruning to taking down hazardous trees near homes.

Homeowners call them for dead pines close to roofs, tall oaks that need controlled drops, overgrown branches on hundred-foot pines and stumps ground below grade with mulch left behind. Crews have handled trees with pine beetles, removed limbs without hitting houses or fences, and finished jobs that started early or ran through rain while stacking firewood as requested. Reviewers named Ryan Davis and Braeden for showing up with the right equipment, following safety steps and leaving yards cleaner than they found them.

They answer calls promptly, send insurance certificates ahead of time, keep customers updated during the work and charge prices that beat other bids in the area. The crew works in Montgomery County and nearby spots like The Woodlands, shows up on schedule, communicates clearly and finishes without leaving debris in neighbors yards. Jobs get done efficiently even on cold or wet days.

Reviewers keep coming back for the same reasons: solid safety around structures, thorough cleanup and fair pricing on everything from single tree removals to multiple prunings. DIRT Score 4.8 from 189 reviews on Finds.

“When looking for a company to guide us with caring for our trees, we came across a local company Davis Tree Service. From start to finish we were thoroughly impressed. Ryan Davis came by and checked our trees for disease and damage and gave us an estimate and a date. Shortly thereafter, he messaged us an insurance certificate. Today when the crew arrived and began work they were very professional in everything they did. Very impressive safety protocols, crew size and equipment. Then they cleaned up everywhere! The yard and street in front of our house look better after they left than before they arrived. A 5-star company for sure. We will definitely use Davis again and we highly recommend!”

“On April 5, 2021, Davis Tree Service came to remove 3 trees, including a large oak that was about 10 feet from our house. They also trimmed / pruned some other trees. First, Davis Tree Service showed up on time (to me, first sign of a professional company). The crew, including Ryan, were courteous and pleasant for the entire service. They communicated well and kept us informed. Second, the crew worked diligently to strip and control the fall of the branches from the large oak tree before dropping the trunk. They were respectful of our house and landscaping. As requested, they left us a nice stack of oak logs for firewood. Overall, we were highly satisfied with Davis Tree Service. They were professional and competent company. Definitely, Davis Tree Service is a refreshing company to work with because of the following: - Prompt - Respectful - Communicates Well - Honest - Completed Job As Agreed - Worked Hard - No BS To Deal With Oh, as for the costs, Davis Tree Service was cost effective and reasonable when compared to other companies that gave us quotes. We highly recommend Davis Tree Service. Sincerely, Tom”

“Ryan and his crew were so professional, courteous, very efficient and cleaned up from the project in a VERY satisfactory manner. They arrived when they said they would, took all the necessary precautions to make sure the trees that were getting removed would not fall on my house. I hired them because there were BIG trees that were in danger of falling on my roof. In addition to the tree removal & trimming, they helped me with a couple of "non-tree" related jobs. I cannot say enough nice things about these guys...DEFINITELY recommend.”
