Mendez Tree Service

Mendez Tree Service handles tree work in Pearland, Texas. John Mendez runs the company and his crew takes on full removals of trees and stumps, plus trimming and pruning on oaks, pines and palms. They also grind stumps down fully and clear surface roots when needed. The business lists a Pearland address and phone for local jobs.

Customers bring them in for medium and large oak removals where the team cuts the tree, grinds the stump with no leftover material, and pulls nearby surface roots. Others ask for pruning on old pines that need climbing and tethering, or trimming two large front-yard oaks that had grown too close to houses. Reviewers note the crew finishes stump grinding the same day a quote is accepted and clears every branch and piece of debris before leaving.

John answers online forms or calls within minutes and often drives out the same afternoon or next day to give prices. He adjusts work to fit tight budgets and keeps homeowners updated while the job runs. Crews show up on time, work safely around tight spaces, and finish with a full sweep so no waste remains. Pricing comes in lower than other bids in several cases, and the team returns for repeat trimming or removal calls.

Reviews give the company a five-star mark from seventy-six entries, with repeated notes on fast scheduling, clear talks, fair costs, and yards left spotless after every visit. DIRT Score 4.8 from 76 reviews on Finds.

“A Big thank you to Mendez Services for the wonderful job they did in the removal of my 2 trees and stumps from my front yard! They were very personal and professional. John was great in working with my budget. I felt like I could trust him to do a great job. He explained everything that he was going to do in detail and they surely delivered! He cares about the work he does. Clean job. They cleaned up everything after the work was completed. I highly recommend this company if you need any tree work done. Even my 9 year old said they deserve a 5 star!! Thank you again!”

“I had an outstanding experience with Mendez Tree Service. The local owner, John, provided a very reasonable quote that was almost 30% cheaper than the next estimate, which immediately stood out. Beyond the price, John was extremely humble, transparent, and took the time to clearly explain the entire process with the utmost professionalism. The team did a fantastic job removing a medium-sized oak tree from my property. They completely removed the tree, ground the stump thoroughly with absolutely no residue left behind, and even took care of removing the superficial surface roots around the area. What impressed me the most was the level of care they took with the cleanup. They removed all debris and left the yard spotless, neat, and clean, as if the tree had never been there. The quality of work was excellent, and John’s crew was very professional, hardworking, and respectful throughout the entire process. I highly recommend Mendez Tree Service to anyone looking for honest pricing, professional service, and high-quality tree work. I would not hesitate to hire them again for any future tree service needs.”
