“I wish I could give double the stars! We had a pretty big tree fall last week after a storm (just fence damage thankfully). The team came out to assess within 24 hours and said they’d be able to clear it by the following week, but would try to get in sooner (totally fair given the widespread storm damage). They were able to come by just two days later. They cleared the fallen tree, removed three other invasive trees, trimmed our oak above the roofline, and removed the stumps. Absolutely superb. “We had Brents tree service come to our house before the last possible freeze of the season, trimmed up a tree in the front, one in the back and our holly bush. They also took out an outdated brush in the front that opened up our driveway. We also had a stump grinded out. The service was fast and information for the most part was communicated. The only thing that was not communicated was what would be done with the remains of the grinded stump. Came home to a pile of grounded tree stump, when I was hoping for that to be taken away as well. REVISION:they made it right! “I hired Brent's for tree work and while the crew themselves were professional and completed the job as written, the sales and consultation process left a lot to be desired. My primary goal going into the consultation was clear: I needed trees removed from above the roofline for insurance compliance. The advisor never flagged any concerns with that request — no mention whatsoever that fully removing limbs above the roofline could jeopardize the trees' health. Instead, he simply hand-wrote a canopy cut order and moved on. I only found out about this critical detail after the crew had already finished the work and asked me to inspect it. It was at that point, on a follow-up call with the advisor, that he finally brought up the tree health concern. That information should have been front and center during the consultation — not disclosed after the fact. On pricing, their quote came in higher than competitors — and for significantly less scope of work. One competitor quoted the same price and included the removal of 3 additional trees entirely. “I called Brent's Tree Service last week to have someone look at a tree. The person who answered the phone was adamant that someone be at the home when the person comes out to get a quote. So I set up a time for today, 5-26-26 at 1630hrs. I get off work at 1600hrs, so I would have time to get home and meet the person coming out. At 07:00 hours, yes, 7:00 in the morning, my phone rings, and it is Brent’s Tree Service. I am not even out of bed yet to get ready for work. I had no idea this tree was so important that it required contacting me at 0700hrs. 0800hrs or maybe 0830hrs would seem more appropriate, and I am pretty sure the tree does not care when someone gets there, but 0700hrs is nowhere close to 1630hrs. “Holy crap y'all this company rocks! Quick and painless to a T! My goodness! I did a bunch of work and got 5 freaking estimates for the work and this company was truly middle ground between all of them. I am so thankful for all the hard work and my god the difference is stunning! John MaCuk first came and gave an estimate in a timely manner and was respectful and quick going over everything. He also brought the companies insurance to the first meeting which was perfect because that was my main worry about the cheaper options. I would rather pay a smidge more for no worries at all then worry about if a company is up to date on their insurance or not! I highly recommend giving this company a chance when you need help!
