M&M Tree Care LLC

M&M Tree Care LLC runs tree service work from Bastrop, Texas. The family owned outfit handles stump grinding, tree trimming, tree removal and lot clearing for homes and properties in the area. Eric and Erik manage the day to day jobs and bring more than thirty years of experience to each project. They keep the business focused on high quality work at fair prices and stay available every day from six in the morning until eight at night.

Customers call them for split trees that need same day attention, large pines or oaks close to houses, and storm damaged cedars that block yards. Crews trim branches pushing against roofs or metal structures, grind stumps after removals, and clear lots filled with overgrowth. Eric often shows up the day after a call to give a quote, then the team returns the next morning to finish the cut and haul everything away. Reviews note jobs that take just a couple hours for a full removal plus clean up, even when trees sit in tight spots like under porches or near greenhouses.

The crews arrive on time, often at seven in the morning, and work with ropes and chainsaws to bring down tricky trees without damage to nearby roofs or meters. They keep communication direct, finish on the same day they start, and leave the ground cleaner than it was before the job. Pricing stays reasonable according to multiple accounts, and the team covers Bastrop plus nearby spots while protecting landscaping and electric lines during the work.

The company holds a five star rating from two hundred forty four Google reviews. Reviewers keep pointing to fast response times, skilled handling of dangerous or oversized trees, and the way the crew finishes every job with a full sweep of debris.

“M@M tree care arrived to my property and cleaned up all my trees. They did such a beautiful job! They were timely, efficient and professional. I highly recommend their crew.”

“This team arrived at my apartment complex at The Lodge At Lost Pines at 8am. They did an AMAZING job here. They were done by 10am! Fantastic crew cutting, clearing, chipping branches and cleaning! THANK YOU!”

“I called because my tree was split. Eric came out the same day and quoted the cut down of the tree. We decided to use his company. They came out the next day and cut it down. It took only 2 hrs to cut it and cleaned up the mess. Great service. I would highly recommend this company.”

“Today on 10/6/2025, M&M Tree Care arrived on time @7am to remove some trees from next to and around our home. Some of these trees were very challenging to remove. One was literally in the ground below the back porch floor and up through a small opening in the roof. They carefully removed branch after branch to bring it down. All done with ropes, chainsaws and SKILL! The second one had grown so much over the years, the tree was literally pushing against the metal roof. The team of workers handled everything carefully and professionally. We had many trees with branches overhanging the roof of our home. They carefully trimmed them away from the roof. We had one tree near our electric meter pole with a large branch that needed trimming. Our dog walking trail had some dead trees along our well-worn path. M&M Tree Care created a much safer trail for us to use. The team did an amazing job of cleaning up all the debris from large to small over many acres of the land around our home. It was an extraordinary experience we will never forget. If you have a tree problem call them.We definitely recommend M&M Tree Care. Vic & Judi Vreeland”

“M&M Tree Care team was amazing by providing a thorough lot clearing. Erik’s quote was fair and the crew was professional and did an excellent job of cleaning up. Would definitely use them again!”

“I needed a large pine tree removed. It was close to the house and in the backyard. The crew came in, took it down and hand carted it out to the chipper the front driveway in no time. They cleaned everything up and left it nice. I'd definitely use them again”

“Thank you M&M for another job well done. Eric and his crew are fantastic. You won’t find another tree service better than M&M. They are family owned and it shows.”

“Called Erik on Tuesday to remove and trim up some trees from the recent weather wind event. Very reasonably priced work completed the next day clean up was complete. I would highly recommend Erik and company I will certainly call him again when needed”

“Fair prices, quality work, and nice people. I used M&M Tree Care for several removals and a general clean up for all the trees on my 1 acre property. They showed up early in the morning with a large crew and worked efficiently to get the large job completed by mid-afternoon. I’m very happy with the services provided and will trust this business in the future for any additional work that may need to be done.”

“Had Eric and his workers from M&M tree service out today. They were here to remove the bulk of a large cedar that blew down in the last storm. They were all professional, courteous, did a perfect job with limb removal, and left the grounds clean. On top of it all, Eric is a professional and fun guy to talk with. Would definitely hire them again for future tree maintenance!”

“M&M came out today and removed two trees and cleaned up several others. One of the trees was pretty lopsided, and I thought it would probably have to be removed. Eric said he could fix it, and his crew did an amazing job! They arrived at 7:00 AM and worked for about 3–4 hours. They cleared everything up better than I expected, and we now have sunlight reaching areas of the yard that haven’t seen the sun in years because of all the overgrowth. What impressed me most was how well they cleaned up. They left the property cleaner than anyone working on my house has ever done—and they had to make quite a mess to get the job done! I would highly recommend M&M if you have trees that need to be trimmed or removed. Great work, great cleanup, and a job well done!”

“Eric is always on time does a fantastic job and clean up is through. 5 stars for sure.”

“I called Erik and he came out the next day to give me a quote. The price is very reasonable and had his crew come out and trim my trees. They did a great job and also talked to me about tree health and tree care. I appreciate the services and will reach back out to them in a few years as my trees keep growing. Thank you again!”

“From the very start, M&M Tree Care is top notch!! We were given a tour of our own trees with trim suggestions and then an estimate and then the crew arrived the very next day and did exactly everything they said they would! The crew is extremely knowledgeable about trees and so skilled at their craft and all the while working in an impressively safe manner. While on the job, our landscaping and new roof were protected and after the clean up, there was hardly a clue that they had been there (except for the beautifully trimmed trees). Good work news travels fast because within our same work week, two of our neighbors hired this same crew and have the same beautiful results. We will most definitely be asking them to come back in a few years when our trees are needing a touch up by this amazing crew!! Thank you, T&C on Hill Street”

“M&M Tree Care LLC in Bastrop is outstanding! Erick, the owner, called me back right away, set an appointment, and actually showed up on time — which is rare these days. He originally scheduled me for Thursday, but then called and said he could come earlier on Tuesday. I appreciated the initiative and professionalism. He removed seven tree stumps, cleaned up surrounding trees, and cleared all the debris. The work was fast, clean, and extremely well done. My yard looks completely transformed. If you want a company that is reliable, honest, and delivers excellent results, I highly recommend M&M Tree Care LLC. Erick’s customer service and work ethic are top‑tier.”

“The guys did a great job carefully removing a tree that had fallen between a glass green house and new structure. I was quoted a fair price and they were able to get it done quickly! I would definitely use them again!”

“I've used a ton of different tree services over our time in the area and never have I been so blown away by a tree care team. The team arrived exactly when they said they would, and performed the work in the most professional manner I have ever seen - safety was paramount, consideration for our property and land was a top consideration, and speed of work was incredible. They removed two massive, sadly dead, loblolly pines for us, and a large oak that was potentially going to fall on our house. 100% recommendation from me”

“Oh my goodness what a great experience! I’ve already scheduled them for another round of work. I can’t thank them enough for the great job and my yard was a mess! Such a great team of young men and such hard workers and their attention to detail and you know at 73 yrs of age I was being nosy and probably a pain they just treated me like a great grandma! Hire these guys top notch!!!”

“We hired M&M to remove two dead trees from our property today. One, a very large Cottonwood, was particularly dangerous. We had reached out to five local tree services and M&M had by far the best quote for the job. They showed up on time (7am) and the entire job done and cleaned up before noon. They were curious, professional and easy to work with. Though we are saddened to lose the trees, we couldn’t be any happier with their service. Highly recommended.”

“Erik was very knowledgeable, communicative, and easy to work with! His crew was able to assess and remove a large dead tree within a few hours. They actually seemed like they had fun doing it too, which indicates a good team with a healthy work environment - often a rare sight! Very good people and good at their jobs. 10/10 would recommend.”
