A-Z Wright's Tree Services

A-Z Wright's Tree Services runs tree work from Porter, Texas, with Paul Wright handling the company and his crew. They remove trees, grind stumps, trim branches back from houses, and shape trees on residential properties. The address sits at 3911 Long Leaf Ln, and the outfit uses equipment like bucket trucks and chippers to handle jobs from small trims to large removals.

Homeowners call them for hollow oak removal plus stump grinding, large pine takedowns, cutting back limbs from structures, and stump work after earlier cuts. Paul has advised waiting on freeze-damaged trees until new growth appears instead of overcutting, and crews have trimmed rather than removed trees that turned out healthy. Jobs often include extra neighbor trees or yard improvements suggested at no added cost, with clean sites left behind once the work finishes.

Paul quotes lower than several other outfits on the same trees and requires payment only after completion with no surprise fees. Most crews arrive on schedule, work efficiently, and keep sites safe and tidy throughout. Paul stays straightforward on the phone, explains steps clearly, and stays responsive for repeat customers over many years, though a handful of callers report unanswered lines, full voicemails, and missed appointments after quotes.

Reviews total around twenty with a 4.4 Google rating noted. Common points cover fair prices, honest advice, solid clean-up, and professional crews, while a few mention delays in scheduling or follow-through.

“An exceptional team of professionals. Removed a old oak tree and stump from our yard that was hollowing out. Trimmed another tree. They truly had there system down. Clean up was amazing. We could not have been more pleased with the service provided.”

“I had a fantastic experience with A-Z Wright's Tree Service. From the moment they arrived, the team was not only friendly and efficient but also deeply committed to doing the job right. I hired them for both tree removal and stump grinding, and every step of the process was smooth and professional. What truly impressed me was the fairness of their pricing—no hidden costs and payment wasn’t due until the job was completely finished. This transparent and reasonable pricing made me feel like I was getting a good deal. appreciated that the area was left exactly as it was before they arrived, with impeccable clean-up. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction made all the difference. I’m so impressed by their service that I’m even thinking about putting up a sign in front of my house for all the tree companies that come knocking on my door. The sign would read: “Don’t bother—I’m an A-Z Wright’s Tree Service loyal customer!” It’s rare to encounter a service provider that delivers consistent quality with such integrity, and I believe they deserve this recognition. I can't recommend A-Z Wright's Tree Service enough for anyone looking for reliable, honest, and to”

“We had some trees taken care of and the remaining stumps ground down, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. The crew was extremely professional, hardworking, and respectful of our property. They maintained a clean and safe worksite the entire time, which really stood out compared to past experiences with other companies. Paul, the owner, was fantastic to work with—straightforward, trustworthy, and someone I felt completely comfortable having on our property. He explained the process clearly and delivered exactly what he promised. The whole project was smooth from start to finish. I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing tree work done. Reliable, professional, and easy to work with!”

“They were quick, professional and just all around great. Highly recommend to anyone needing tree service”

“I worked with A to Z Wright’s Tree Service on a large project at our home we just purchased and I couldn’t be happier with the entire experience. Paul Wright and his team made this entire process so easy, fun and not stressful, even though we had some unforeseen issues come up during the project. His team is professional and quite honestly amazing to watch at work. They went above and beyond in making sure we had everything completed to our liking, and even made suggestions, at no extra cost, to make our yard even better. Paul is honest, fair, easy to work with and very responsive. I interviewed quite a few different tree services and am so beyond glad that we worked with A to Z. Amazing experience from start to finish.”

“Knowledgeable, friendly and professional. Had 2 trees removed, 2 large trees cut back from the house, 2 shaped. Plus a host of stumps removed. He also cut back a large tree for my neighbor at the same time. I had originally requested he work on the 10 trees in the back that had severely suffered in the freeze. However, he recommended that he waits for new growth to avoid over cutting. I like that he rejected guaranteed work in favor of advice to give us the best possible result. The crew on the day were polite and efficient. We confirmed the work prior to starting and my satisfaction on completion. I stayed out of their way apart from supplying cold drinks and cake but when I was there you could see they are well organized and experienced. Absolutely using for all future work.”

“Paul gave me the lowest quote to cut down a 60 foot tree. I had 5 quotes and Paul Wright beat the price. His crew was prompt and took their time taking down this monstrous tree that was hanging over the garage. Landed it perfectly. Great work.”

“Paul prices very fairly for his services, and he takes extra steps to ensure customer satisfaction. We've used their services on 2 occasions: removal of trees/grinding stumps, and follow-up visit to trim other trees on our property.”

“Absolutely impressed! We had several run ins with tree "specialists" who stopped by and gave quotes of $3-4000 claiming my trees were dead or dying due to disease. A-Z came out and was definitive that the trees were fine and we just needed to raise them off the house. So we paid for tree trimming, not tons of tree removal!! Honest to a fault!”

“No show no call after receiving quote to trim trees. Telephone goes to a voicemail box that has been full for a month. Seems odd they came highly recommended.”

“Used Paul for several decades. Honest. Good. Nice guy. Never disappointed. Does what he says he will do when he says he will . Great job every time. Pleasure to work with him and his wife.”

“I highly recommend A-Z Wright's Tree Service! Very professional and efficient at a great price. It was amazing to watch these men work together so well.... Thank you”

“Called no less than 10 times over the course of about a week, and nobody answers. If you need tree service, just go ahead and skip this place, they don't appear to want any business.”

“Unreliable, and complete no show after weeks of trying to schedule and waiting, left at the job site for hours. What a waste of time. Do yourself a favor and choose someone who actually wants your business.”

“Very honest company. Prices are competitive. Completed on scheduled date.”

“Great Prices and very easy to work with.”

“Great Customer Service. A+++”

“I had 2 trees removed, 1 was a very large pine. They did and excellent job cutting the tree and cleaning up after. I was also able to have the stumps ground down through them. Very happy with the service, will use them again for the other trees I'd like to have removed.”

“Professional tree service with bucket truck and chipper. Removes all debris. Cleans areas thoroughly Great customer service. Highly recommend”

“We have had tree work done by this company in the past and if you don’t count them denting our gutter and taking forever to finally get to our house, then I would say they did a good job. We recently got a quote from them to remove a dead tree that was about to fall on our house, grind the stump, and trim our oak. We ultimately just decided to have them remove the dead tree only because it was a danger to our house and we wanted it done asap. This was back in April and by the end of August no one had showed up so we moved on to another company. They do good tree work, but if you are looking for timely work, I would consider someone else. They were even on my street doing work for another house and still refuse to come cut the dead tree down in my yard. Disappointing especially considering this tree was such a danger to our house and children playing outside.”
