Eddie's Tree Service, LLC.

Eddie's Tree Service, LLC runs tree work out of Sugar Land, Texas. The family owned company started with Eddie and now has his son John handling calls and crews. They handle tree trimming, shaping, pruning, stump grinding, tree removal, and maintenance on decayed or diseased trees across Sugar Land, Houston, Missouri City, Stafford, Richmond, Rosenberg, Meyerland, Fort Bend County, and Greatwood. The business has operated for over 32 years with a full crew and all needed equipment to handle the work.

Homeowners call them to take out dead trees, grind stumps and backfill the holes so the ground sits level, or trim oaks and other trees that grew too big over several years. Crews under John often check nearby trees for extra branches during a removal job and chip everything on site. They have removed multiple sago palms, handled large corner lots with over a dozen trees, and cleaned up after trimming two big live oaks or four giant oaks without leaving debris behind.

John answers voicemails or texts fast, often within an hour, and sends a quote the same day after seeing photos. Crews show up on time, work quickly with the right grinder and climbers, finish in under an hour on some jobs, and keep prices competitive with no added fees. They cover the listed towns and stay in touch throughout the job so owners know what to expect.

Reviews give consistent praise for the crews finishing clean, staying polite, and delivering fair prices on both small and big jobs. Recurring notes cover how the work passes from Eddie to John while keeping the same standard. DIRT Score 4.4 from 90 reviews on Finds.

“We have used Eddie's Tree Service for many years and will continue to call them back for their services. They're very responsive to voicemail or text. John will most likely call you within the hour if he's not out on a job. We had them over recently to remove 2 trees yet they took time to check the surrounding trees and trimmed some branches without extra changes. The crew are professional, polite, and clean-up after the job.”

“I reached out to Eddie's Tree Service through their website to request trimming for two oak trees. I received a response a couple of hours later, asking me to send pictures of the trees along with my address. I provided the requested information the next morning, and they promptly responded with a quote. I accepted the quote, and on the same day, the team came out to complete the job. They worked quickly and did an exceptional job with the clean-up afterwards. I'm very pleased with the outcome.”

“I have a large corner lot in Greatwood with about 14 big trees. I have hired various companies to do the trimming over the years (Save-a-tree) and I was always left with an unsatisfactory job. Eddie’s Tree service is not like the others. They have all the right equipment from a big grinder for all the trimmings and multiple skilled guys up in the trees doing the job right. They are also very competitive on price which is amazing because they do twice the job as anyone else I have hired over the last 20 years. We are beyond happy and would recommend Eddie’s son John to anyone who wants to have a thorough well executed tree trimming and tree removal service.”

“The Matulas have been taking amazing care of me for over a decade and I could not be more grateful for their support and expertise. Eddie and now John have always been kind, fair, responsive, honest and respectful. With many large trees around my home they keep me informed on how to best care for them both short and long term. Their prices have always been fair and each time they go above and beyond my expectations. I would recommend them to anyone looking for true experts in trees that care about quality and their customers- I am a client for life, they are my first and only call.”
