Aspen Tree Service

Aspen Tree Service runs tree trimming, cutting and removal work for homes and businesses in Wylie and the wider DFW area. They handle routine pruning along with bigger jobs like taking down trees or clearing storm damage. The company offers free estimates and keeps full liability insurance on every project. Crews include certified arborists who focus on safe methods and finish each site with a full cleanup.

Homeowners call them to remove large trees next to houses, grind stumps, thin out overgrown canopies, or fix split trunks on older trees. Reviews mention AJ and his crew finishing multi-day work in a single shift while leaving yards spotless. Tim walked one property and gave straight advice that no work was needed yet. Benny raised, shaped and thinned trees for another customer and removed suckers from the centers. Other jobs included pulling downed trunks from a creek bed and getting a tree off a house roof that another outfit could not handle.

They return calls fast, often within half an hour, and can send someone out the same day for a look. Crews call ahead with arrival times, show up on schedule, and keep the customer updated through the day. Prices land fair and sometimes come in under the original bid. Work covers the Dallas Metroplex with jobs finished in a few hours when the site allows, and every crew leaves the property clean enough that you would hardly know they were there.

“Thanks again for the outstanding job! You removed our tree with incredible care and left our yard looking spotless. This is the second tree Aspen Tree Service has removed for us, and you’ve also taken excellent care of our live oak over the years. I really appreciate your honest advice, professionalism, and attention to detail. It’s reassuring to work with a company you can truly trust with your trees. I highly recommend Aspen Tree Service!”

“These guys came to my place and got straight to work. They didn't mess around. Got a couples of days work done in one day and left the place spic and span. Such a great group of men. Really impressed. Would absolutely do business with them again. Thank you AJ and crew.”

“I had a great experience with Aspen Tree Service. Tim came out to look at my trees and shrubs (they are less than a year old) and spent time walking me through several practical tips for caring for my trees and landscape. He told me very quickly and honestly that I did not need to hire them right now. That kind of integrity is so rare. It's not often you come across a business that will give you genuinely useful advice without trying to sell you on their services. I appreciated Tim's honesty and would not hesitate to call Aspen Tree Service when the time comes.”

“We've used Aspen Tree Service more than once, and they continue to exceed our expectations. Benny (arborist/pruner) was professional, punctual, and communicated ahead of time with his expected arrival, which we really appreciated. He did an outstanding job raising, shaping, and thinning our overgrown trees, including removing the suckers from the center, and the results look fantastic. What really sets Aspen Tree Service apart is their attention to detail and customer service. They cleaned up every bit of the trimmings, leaving our yard looking spotless when they were finished. We highly recommend Aspen Tree Service to anyone looking for quality tree care, exceptional workmanship, and reliable, friendly service. They're the only company we'll call for our tree service needs.”

“Truly great experience with Aspen tree service today! Spoke with Mike a few weeks ago during a move into my new home. We set up a time for an estimate. We came to an agreement on a very fair price an set the date. Crew came by at 8:30. Did some strategizing and got right to work. They were done by 12:15 including a very thorough cleanup. Can't even tell they were here. Great crew of very knowledgeable employees. Will most definitely use them again, and refer them to others. Well done, one and all!!”

“Aj and his crew were fantastic. They were on time as promised. The price estimated was very fair and was actually a little cheaper than originally estimated. The crew did everything that was estimated and then some. When the work was completed Aj walked the project with me to make sure that I was happy and pleased with their work. I believe this is the 6th job that Aspen Tree Service has done for me and we are always pleased. We will of course use Aj and his team in the future and we would definitely recommend him on any tree job you might have.”

“If you want a hassle free, worry free experience to take a very large tree down close to your house and grind the stump ( something that I didn’t even know that I wanted until they put it in the bid), Aspen should be your choice. Quick, efficient, and safe. Excellent company that does what they say, when they say they will do it. Wouldn’t look anywhere else. Thank you guys.”

“Excellent customer service, detailed bid, and quality workmanship! Highly recommend these folks 👌”

“These guys do incredible tree trimming. Just what I have wanted for years! Someone who can cut and thin out the tops of my trees! Thank you AJ and crew! Also dropped off a yard of mulch (no cost) and allowed me to self serve firewood too (also gratis)! Very reasonable priced and worth every penny to have it done right!”

“This was the perfect company to hire for a challenging job! There were multiple large tree trunks down in a creek. They had the knowledge, equipment, and expertise to deal with this unique situation. Every step of the process went smoothly. I would definitely use them again!”

“Excellent service! The crew did an amazing job removing a tree off of a house in Keller that our company could not handle.”

“Found that the trunk on my 20 year old Chinese Pistache tree had started to split, called Aspen Tree Service, they returned my call within 30 minutes, had someone out to look at it same day. AJ was friendly and thoroughly explained what was wrong with my tree and gave me options to avoid losing the tree. The work was completed within 24 hours, exactly as explained. Would recommend Aspen Tree Service to anyone needing an arborist.”

“I have been using Aspen Tree Service for a number of years. I have only one live oak tree (purchased in @ 2003 for my male dog) and the Aspen personnel have been excellent. Their recommendations for fertilizing and trimming have made the tree strong & healthy. Keep Going Aspen. You definitely earned 5 stars!”

“The Aspen Tree Service crew exceeded my expectations. They were prompt, professional, courteous & affordable. They also did a great job of making sure that my yard was thoroughly cleaned up after the service was completed. I highly recommend them for any tree service!”

“Aspen was very reasonably priced, knowledgeable and delivered exceptional quality work. Customer service was excellent, I had no issues getting a true and fair quote with no hidden extra costs. They called before arriving and completed the job in a timely manner. They trimmed, pruned my trees removed all branches and left my yard in great shape (left no mess for me to cleanup). I highly recommend Aspen Tree Service and have already referred them to family, friends, and coworkers!”

“Excellent experience !!!! We love these people. Everything was smooth and prompt from getting a quote, scheduling and completing the work. Very thorough in the work they did and respectful of our property. Appreciate the truckload of mulch too! Great work ethic and very professional. Appreciate their enthusiasm for keeping our beloved trees healthy!”

“Wonderful tree service! They had a tricky job getting down our 2 trees between our house and the neighbor’s. But they did it and then ground the stumps down really well. They are very knowledgeable about trees and their care. I definitely will be using them again.”

“Thank you to arborist Tom Waswick who checked my trees and delivered a reasonable bid for the work I requested. Special thanks to Diana for working with me to schedule my tree service around the schedule for sewer line replacement work that kept changing because of rain. She was so kind to me! Thank you to the crew of six men who completed the work efficiently and to my absolute satisfaction. The crew also cleaned up so well that you would hardly know they had been there. I will use Aspen Tree Service for any future work needed on my trees.”

“Definitely recommend and will use Aspen again. Both the owner and the crew took the time to walk the property, confirm all the trimming before it started, and was very knowledgeable about cleaning the saws in between projects. Professional service, on-time and on-budget, and my property looks great -- thanks, Aspen!”
