“We got connected with Keane when we got ready to sell and existing home and “spruce” up the yard. Our realtor recommended Keane and we reached out. Kevin, the owner, was at our house that very same day. What we learned early on was the URGENCY and speed with how Keane works. They have and maintain a generous labor pool to get your job knocked out ASAP to your satisfaction. We were so satisfied that we asked our new builder if we could substitute Keane versus their regular sub contractor. After some negotiation Keane was cleared and they knocked out job in no time. Kevin was a great designer to the look and feel of our landscaping. Any of the team I have interacted with has been great and he has a crew for everything. “Extremely disappointed with Keane Landscaping Inc.—not because of their landscaping, but because of the conduct I experienced involving one of their company vehicles and the complete lack of response afterward. I witnessed one of their company pickup trucks driving aggressively on the US-75 service road in McKinney, speeding up as my lane was ending and nearly striking the front driver side of my brand-new vehicle while cutting in front of me. The incident was captured on my dash camera. I took the time to contact Keane Landscaping directly, explain what happened, provide identifying information about the company vehicle, and give them an opportunity to address the situation privately. I received no response. Mistakes and poor decisions by employees can happen. What says far more about a company is how management responds when a legitimate safety concern is brought to their attention. In my experience, Keane Landscaping showed no concern at all—not even the courtesy of acknowledging my complaint. If a company puts its name on a vehicle, the person driving it represents that company. Ignoring a serious complaint involving public safety is incredibly disappointing.”

“Total failure to protect my property. I hired Keane Landscaping to winterize my palms (1 large Mexican Fan Palm, 2 European Fan Palms, and 3 Sago Palms) ahead of the 2026 freeze. I was promised a full crew would prune, tie, and wrap the trees in burlap. Instead, after demanding payment upfront, they sent one person who did a "sloppy" job on a single Sago and left. After multiple ignored calls and texts, they eventually sent one man to wrap a 20ft tree alone—which he admitted was impossible. They abandoned the job, my plants were damaged by the freeze, and they left a mess behind. Most insulting was that they fought my bank to keep the $501 for work they never performed. It seems they only care about their "pro sports" clients, not ordinary homeowners. Save your money and your plants—go elsewhere. The bottom right shows how the largest tree should have been wrapped. “Simply don't do what they say they will do. Affording two stars as, ultimately, Keane replaced my old sunken walkway with a new one, and did quality work on the concrete job itself. Everything else, unfortunately, was a terrible experience. Communication/organization - My project manager was totally unresponsive for days at a time - Out of 6 different times I was told someone would come out to do work, only twice did someone actually show up - The job was "completed" by releasing the second half of the invoice to me. No call, text, or inspection from Keane to ensure I was happy with the work Work completion/cleanliness - Did not come out to to repair my irrigation as promised (fixed it myself to keep the grass from dying). Someone showed up almost two weeks later. - Concrete subcontractor dumped unused/spillover concrete in my grass and landscaping beds. The beds are still in disarray, as I have to break up concrete just to reset the retaining stones - Didn't do anything to grade around the work (where they destroyed the grass) with topsoil or sod - Lost the 90 at the bottom of my gutter downspout and never replaced it (also fixed myself) I just paid the invoice so I can move o”

Their response time was amazing and Kevin Keane came the next day and spent a lot of time with us going over his vision of the potential of our 1/2 acre backyard. “We had Keane Landscaping come out for an initial consultation, and the experience started off very promising. It was quite a large job we were looking to get started on immediately. He took the time to meet with us, discuss ideas, and told us we would receive an estimate along with a design mock-up within 2–3 days. Unfortunately, we never received anything. After waiting beyond the expected timeframe, I followed up via email to check on the status and never received a response. We ultimately never heard back from them at all, which left us in a position where we had to move on and find another landscaping company. It’s disappointing because first impressions were positive, but the lack of communication and follow-through made it impossible to move forward. Consistent communication is key in this type of service, and unfortunately, that piece was missing here.”

Kevin, the owner, is always super responsive and clearly very passionate about his work — he’s hands-on and still out there working alongside his crew, which we really appreciate. The team is fast, professional, and gets things done efficiently. They never leave you without a response. Last winter, we discovered a pipe leak inside the garage wall late at night. I texted Kevin the next morning, and everything was fixed quickly, including patching the wall. We’ve done several big projects with them — a full irrigation system rebuild, new grass across the entire property, and trimming 36 large trees. “Keane used to be a very good service and I was pleased with their service. Over the past couple of years I had to do more follow up with them to correct things. In August of 2018, my grass began dying. I contacted them, they service guy did a drive by and said nothing looked wrong. I again sent pictures. He claimed there was nothing they could of done to my grass but it is obviously that the lawn mowers did. They fertilized in an effort to revive the grass, I called again as it was not improving. Again a drive by only and he said it looked fine. I stopped paying for services in lieu of dead grass. I have spoken to several people regarding my outstanding balance and they all indicate they understand but I either get a statement or an email asking about balance. When I call in I get we will call you back but I never get a call back. I used to recommend Keane all the time and in fact got several of my neighbors to use them. We all have stopped now.”

See the enclosed photos of the beautifully finished project. will not complete it or return a call. Have tried to contact Kevin Keane 5 times, Ben Dash 4 times, Jeremy 3 times and two times he "no-showed" for an appointment. The weeds have out grown the dead plants and they did not put down any weed cloth. Maybe it's time to try the BBB.”

“We had a major overhaul done to our small backyard; a regrade with drain install to mitigate flooding risk, a new stone paver patio, and fence install. Keane was helpful and knowledgable in the planning process; breaking our project into distinct phases and estimates. Alan Nino, our project manager, was responsive and collaborative as, with any major project, there were unforeseen challenges that had to be overcome on the fly. The work performed was high quality and the crews are highly skilled. Honestly, the fence exceeded my wildest expectations and the regrade has solved our drainage concerns.
