About
Arjo Inc works as a welder out of Addison, Texas. The business lists itself as a supplier of medical technical products and solutions meant to help people with limited mobility or age related conditions. Offerings cover patient lifting systems, hygiene lifts, beds for hospital and long term care use, pressure relief surfaces, and related support items like disinfectors and thrombosis prevention gear. The Google profile sits under a medical group heading with a claimed status and an address shown in Illinois.
Customers describe equipment that arrives late or fails soon after delivery. One buyer waited a full month for a hygiene chair only to have it stop working after another month of use, then waited again for a repair visit. Others mention devices that make noise at regular intervals and disrupt sleep, along with batteries that carry short warranties compared with other suppliers. Several note that preventive maintenance visits end up costing as much as new units and that service agreements push for ongoing contracts.
Work happens through equipment support, rentals, financing, and parts supply. Reviewers say getting a technician requires multiple calls and supervisor requests, with delays stretching into weeks. One account mentions a driver operating in an unsafe manner in Washington state. Sales promises on delivery timing often fall short according to repeated comments, and staff responses come across as unhelpful or abrupt in many cases.
The record shows a Google rating of 2 from zero reviews along with mostly one star feedback across other sites. Common points include slow repairs, high ongoing costs, and difficulty reaching responsive help. Two five star notes appear but stand apart from the larger set of complaints about service and reliability.

What Customers Say
“Website is useless. Med makes noise every 2 minutes. Can’t sleep. Nobody knows how to fix. 1 star is mainly for the trash website they run. It’s 2025. Figure the internet out or don’t be in there”
“Let me just express my dissatisfaction with the hygiene chair we purchased from your company. My intention was to provide essential comfort and support to my sister, who is dealing with progressive multiple sclerosis and dementia.First , it took an entire month for us to receive the chair after making the purchase. This delay was already inconvenient, considering the urgency of the situation. Unfortunately, the problems didn't end there. Just after a month of use, the chair broke down completely, leaving us without the necessary equipment.I promptly reached out to Arjo for assistance, only to face further frustrations. It took another month for a repair person to be sent, and even then, they were unable to fix the chair. We were informed that an engineer was needed, leaving us waiting for yet another solution. Eventually, a new chair was sent to us, but it barely lasted three months before encountering yet another issue. Then month of waiting, we were sent a damaged chair. This lack of transparency was disheartening. And to make matters worse, another used chair was sent to us just a week later, continuing this cycle of frustration. This has left us without a functional chair for ”
“Customer service is absolutely terrible. The products are fantastic, but getting repairs or service is a nightmare. I generally have to call 3-4 times and ask for supervisors before I get someone to come out. I would not recommend Arjo lifts due to the poor customer service alone. It looks like I'm not the only one having issues with customer service either. Maybe they should do something?”
“Absolutely the rudest employees. Terrible customer service. 30 day warranty on a $500 Nickel Battery (which all other companies give 6 months or a year) They DO NOT CARE ABOUT OUR VETERANS. They were going to let a Veteran stay in bed for 3 weeks. I really hope the VA stops buying their over priced mobility items, because I would pay extra for friendly customer service”
“This company is AWFUL! As someone who has been managing SNF's for >5 years, I recommend everyone stay away from ARJO products. Although the products themselves are very nice, the Preventive Maintenance manuals are written so that only ARJO reps can work on the products. When they come, as required in the manual once a year, the maintenance is usually equivalent to the cost of the equipment; we're talking 1-2k per piece of equipment per year! Then, they try to lock customers into their "service agreements" which are also garbage. I have friends in the industry who have experienced the same thing. Do yourself a favor and NEVER BUY ARJO PRODUCTS!”
“This company is BAD!!! Everyone there has an attitude and is not helpful. I have been in the business 14 years and never seen anything like it. I told my sales rep that I would never do business with them ever again and his response was, OK. They do NOT care at all about the vendors or the clients. STAY AWAY!”
“Be Careful, Some of their Drivers drive crazy, I just saw one in Kennewick Washington”
“Very poor service. Sales promised timely delivery and totally messed up, time, and time again! STAY AWAY.”
“Absolutely first class Cannot rate this company highly enough.”
