About

JS&A Controls handles work as a systems integration outfit based in Addison, Texas. Their Google listing covers fire protection consulting along with burglar alarm supply and fire alarm supply. The company website lists design, sale, installation and service for fire alarm systems, fire sprinkler and suppression setups, life safety equipment, security systems and intrusion alarms. Additional items include access control, video surveillance, emergency and mass notification, parking and revenue controls, time and attendance systems plus EV charging solutions. They list industries such as commercial, education, government, healthcare, hospitality, industrial and retail.

Reviews mention specific problems during service calls. One customer described workers testing fire alarms at a university dorm and entering living spaces without enough notice, which left young residents startled. Another customer reported trouble getting any sales visit or follow up when trying to open a new account. Both reviews gave one star and pointed to a lack of basic courtesy and communication during the jobs.

The same reviews highlight slow or missing responses when customers reach out. One person said no salesperson showed up and no calls came back after initial contact. The business lists a Dallas Fort Worth headquarters and a phone number for quotes, though the reviews give no details on actual arrival times or pricing. Service appears tied to the listed address in the Dallas area.

The Google rating sits at two from zero reviews. The two available customer accounts both focus on entry issues during alarm tests and complete lack of follow through on sales requests. Those points repeat across the feedback that exists.

What Customers Say

“I see that there are not many reviews for this business, however I still wanted to write mine. This company came to test the fire alarms at my university just recently and my roommates and I did not appreciate the abrupt knocking and entry into our dorm suite. All I ask is that when workers are sent, especially men, to check a living space with young girls that were easily startled please be sensitive to that and respect their space.”

Leeah Jones

“Poor response and no customer service. I do not recommend them for anything. Failed to send any sales person to set up a new account. Failed to call or follow up. Do not use them. I guess they do not need any business.”
