Murray Kustom Rods

Murray Kustom Rods runs a welding operation out of Bedford, Texas, right at 1916 Parkwood Drive. They handle metal work for custom hot rods and trucks across the Fort Worth area, stepping in at any point during a build. The crew takes on full vehicle construction from bare frames, adds custom pieces where stock parts fall short, and patches up problems on cars already on the road. Their setup supports the local scene where owners want vehicles that stand out at shows or run strong on the street, using welding to connect chassis sections, mount components, and reinforce bodywork that has seen years of use.

Welders at this shop focus on fabrication tasks like building custom exhaust systems, strengthening frames for better handling, and repairing cracked or rusted sections that show up on older trucks and rods. They work through projects by cutting and fitting metal to match exact specs, then laying solid beads that keep everything aligned under road stress and engine heat common in Texas conditions. Homeowners often bring in half-finished builds needing brackets or mounts added, or they drop off completed rides for fixes after hard miles. The process stays straightforward with measurements taken on site, parts shaped in the shop, and final checks to make sure joints hold without leaks or flex.

Customers keep coming back because the work gets done on schedule without dragging out timelines, the finished welds look clean and last through daily driving, the costs stay in line with the scope of custom jobs, and updates come through clear calls when changes arise. These points add up across feedback on how the shop handles real-world repairs and builds in the area. DIRT Score 4.21 from 31 reviews on Finds.
