Joe's Industrial Machine Shop

Joe's Industrial Machine Shop works out of San Antonio, Texas as a welder and full service machine shop. They have handled general purpose metal work in the area since 1994 with a clear emphasis on custom fabrications and high quality welding. The crew takes on industrial jobs that range from heavy repairs to one off builds, serving both homeowners and local businesses that need solid metal work done right the first time. Their shop setup allows them to move between welding projects and machining tasks without sending work elsewhere, which keeps things moving for customers in the San Antonio heat and dust.

Welders at this shop perform precision welding on broken equipment and structural pieces, along with custom fabrications that match old parts no longer in production. They also turn out gears and run precision machining when a job calls for tight tolerances on shafts or fittings. In San Antonio the work often involves fixing frames on trucks and trailers, reinforcing gates and railings that take a beating from the weather, and patching up machinery used in construction or small manufacturing. The crew shows up with the right rods and prep work already figured out so the weld holds under load instead of cracking later from poor fit up or bad technique.

Homeowners around here keep coming back because the shop delivers reliable fixes without dragging jobs out or inflating costs on straightforward welding tasks. Reviews point to steady communication when schedules shift and fair pricing on both small repairs and larger fabrications, though some note room to improve on overall speed for bigger orders. Quality holds up across the board with clean beads that last in the Texas sun and wind. DIRT Score 3.03 from 15 reviews on Finds.
