Clearlight Windows & Doors

Clearlight Windows & Doors takes care of window and door work out of Abilene. The company handles custom replacements, energy-efficient upgrades, glass repairs, and insulated unit swaps on homes across the area. Owners Zach and Tyler run jobs with their crew, including Austin and Josh, and focus on products suited to local conditions.

Homeowners bring them in for full-house window replacements on older properties, kitchen remodels that need matching new units, storm door installs, and fixes like warranty repairs or custom tinted screens. Reviewers note that Tyler and Austin handle estimates and installations on jobs with fifteen or more windows, while Zach steps in when needed to keep promises after a technician quits. One customer had them cut and fit plexiglass overlays for an art project under a tight deadline.

They show up on time for most installs, keep sites clean, and communicate through the ordering and work phases. Reviewers mention reasonable bids, crews that work around schedules, and owners who stay involved from start to finish. Service covers Abilene and nearby spots, with some jobs completed in under a day and others slowed by delays in callbacks or material arrival.

The listed feedback gives them a 4.4 Google rating from zero reviews there, with most comments praising workmanship, punctuality, and communication while a few note waits on responses or tint matches. Recurring points cover clean finishes and reliable crews on replacement jobs.

“We used Clearlight to replace our old outdated windows. We have not previously used these guys , however had we have known how great the product they sold would be and how amazing the customer service would have been , we would have chosen to do this years ago. We are still blown away by the quality and professionalism of these guys. Will highly recommend to anyone thing about new windows and doors give Clearlight your business. They have earned a customer in us for life. Great job.”

“Zach, Tyler and Austin are top notch! The whole process from start to finish was communicated clearly and executed with high quality workmanship. They had a technician quit on them the week before they were supposed to start a job for one of my customers so the owners, Zach and Tyler, said we made a promise and we’re going to kept that promise. They showed and completed the project alongside Austin even though they could’ve had every right to give me excuses like a lot of contractors would. They are dependable and stand behind their work. Would highly recommend Clearlight windows and doors!”

“Recently had a kitchen remodel done by the same owners of Clearlight windows and we couldn't leave the same old window in the new kitchen. It came out so good! And the price was just right! Will be using them in future projects! Do not hesitate in choosing them for the job”

“Everything about my experience with Clearlight Windows and Doors was exceptional. The ordering process was simple, the bid was very reasonable, and communication throughout the project was excellent. Tyler, the owner, was involved and present throughout the entire process, which gave me extra confidence in the work. The crew arrived on time and did an awesome job with the installation. I’m extremely happy with the new windows and the overall experience. Highly recommend!! We went with NT Window’s Solar Pro – SH series, which are foam-filled, triple-glazed, and argon-filled vinyl windows. They look fantastic!”

“Great job installing my new windows!! Guys were on time and very efficient!!”

“Awesome experience throughout the buying process and the windows are amazing. Would highly recommend for any window or door needs.”

“Great team! I’ve used them for several projects some houses with over 15 windows and they are always fast and responsive. Will continue to use them and highly recommend them to everyone!”

“Several years ago had most of the windows done by them. Good service. Now we want to replace the windows that weren't done before and one window to be repaired under warranty. They came and measured them. Had not heard from them for a couple of months so called to check on it. Waited a couple more months and nothing. Went to their office and asked again. Was told they would contact me in a day or two. Still nothing from them.”

“The whole house installation of our Clearlight windows took less than a day, and the crew left everything clean when the job was completed. The windows are noticeably energy efficient and the noise reduction is outstanding. We are very satisfied with our investment.”

“Clearlight saved my life on of all things a massive fine art commission being completed for a client in Chicago. They used their skills to do what I could not do taking over a great responsibility with cutting pexi-glass overlays and installing them on top of pexi cylinder stands. over the fine art. Their crew was congratulatory and the employee doing the work was amazing. If they can do this I would recommend them for any residential project. They treated me with respect meeting an impossible time line, but they MET THAT TIME LINE finishing and completing the fine art commission.”

“Thank you so much for coming out to our home and installing the glass storm door! Y’all did a great job in no time at all! Very nice & prefessional!”

“I called the morning of Oct 29 to setup an appointment to get an estimate to replace a front window for my home that I'm trying to close on. I was told they would contact their worker to get a date scheduled. I did not get a call back. I waited till the next afternoon to give them a chance to call back. When I called they apologized and said they would contact their worker to get a date scheduled. To this day, Nov 13, I have never gotten a call back from them. I had to scramble to find another contractor to get the estimate and window ordered in order to make the closing.”

“Josh technician was outstanding, very polite and customer orientated. He made me very happy. Turn around for custom tinted screens was slow but I am super happy. Will definitely recommend this local company!!!”

“Had them replace all windows in the house and they did a great job. Will definitely be using them again on future properties”

“We are really happy with the quality of work these guys provided. They are knowledgeable, conscientious and have a work ethic that is 5-Star.”

“The first glass was about a month arriving but they had to send it back for what was supposed to be a dark tint. The one that finally got here looked like it was just painted black from the inside. Couldnt see out at all but i neglected to go insde and look, and it did indeed look tinted from the outside. So now i have a window you cant see out of at all and it covers half the front of my building. I dont feel like i got what i paid for or asked for.”
