JOEYS GLASS
Window & Door Installer · Baytown, TX
About
Joey's Glass runs a full service shop in Baytown, Texas that covers residential, commercial and auto glass work. The company has handled these jobs since 1973 and lists windshield repairs, replacements, heavy equipment glass, window repairs, plate glass, double pane units, storm windows, shower doors, enclosures, mirrors, table tops, tempered glass, security doors and storefront framing among the services offered. They take on both repair and replacement calls for homes and businesses plus mobile auto work that reaches driveways in the area. The shop keeps common parts in stock and handles everything from small chips to full storefront installs.
Customers call for busted truck windows or windshields where the crew often pulls the right piece from inventory and finishes the job in under an hour or two. Homeowners report Sunday responses for broken windows from pets, with techs like Mike, Michael and Jordan arriving at the house, cleaning up shards and completing the work in the driveway while explaining cure times. Shower door jobs get measured and set in less than a week, and same day visits cover window regulators or tint jobs by techs such as Brandon. Some reviews note gaps after sliding door installs or screen track problems, and a few mention that frame adjustments fall outside the work they perform.
The crew books appointments quickly, often same day or next day, and offers mobile service that keeps customers from driving in. Prices stay within budget for self pay or insurance claims, with quotes given upfront and work that matches what was described. A clean waiting area is available for those who stay, and staff handle scheduling over the phone. A few callers found reception short when asking for updates or details, but most reviews point to polite desk help and clear explanations from the techs on site.
Reviews give the shop a 4.5 rating with frequent mentions of fast turnaround on both auto and home glass jobs, stocked parts that cut wait times, and reasonable charges for chips or full replacements. Tech names like Jeff and Jordan come up for clean finishes on mirrors and windshields, while recurring notes cover the ability to reach odd jobs like heavy equipment glass or regulators. A small number of reviews flag fit issues on doors or short answers from the office, yet the bulk of feedback centers on the speed and quality of the glass work itself.

What Customers Say
“Ordered a new sliding glass door. Nice door but once it was installed I noticed a large gap at the bottom left of the stationary door. The installer said he believed it was the house settling and all he would do for it would be to fill the space with foam. They do not do frame work. After a couple of days the screen door became loose and fell out of track when opened. It took a couple of weeks for them to replace the wheel of the screen door. Now the screen door will not slide easily or it will come off the track. I was not aware they would install a door without doing the necessary frame work for secure instillation and smooth functionality. They said they would come remove the door while I hired someone else to do the frame work and then reinstall it. No mention of additional cost. I liked the idea of hiring local instead of the large company. It's unfortunate this was the outcome.”
“Top notch! We were out of town and notified that my dog accidentally broke one of our windows. On a Sunday, of course. Ray’s came out in a short period of time, replaced window, cleaned up all glass shards and was done in no time. Affordable, professional and quick to respond. Highly recommend.”
“I couldn't find anyone else to replace the rear glass on my 2008 Tundra. They replaced it with a better window (no sliding window, blocking my vision) and did it in 2 hours. Their service was exactly as they quoted and so was their price. Terrific business; you should call them for your glass needs.”
“One of my truck windows was busted out. Joey’s was the only local glass shop to have a replacement window in stock and when I say fast service, it was quick and reasonably priced. They have a nice waiting area if you need to wait. The best part is the kindness of the ladies and gentlemen who work there. I couldn’t have had a better experience.”
“If you live around Baytown TX and need Auto glass or Home glass this is the best place to go,they do an excellent job and honor there warranty.”
“A great help. Quick with service and estimates. Window chips are $65 but they do a great job. Staff are really sweet too.”
“They did a great job on my new shower door. Also, the shower door was measured and installed in less than a week.”
“Very friendly and polite staff behind the desk”
“Had me in and out in just under an hour and on very short notice! Ive had work done here before as well and service and work in still unmatched!”
“I used Joey's Glass to replace the windshield of my pickup. The previous windshield took a huge chip from an airborne rock that quickly created a crack. They conveniently came out to my house and performed the service in my driveway. Mike and his partner (whose name I failed to obtain) both worked very quickly, completing the service in well under 45 minutes. Mike explained the things that I needed to avoid for the first 24 hours, as well as over the next three days, so as to allow the glass' adhesive to cure without incident. Payment was made over the phone with Joey's admin staff. All of Joey's employees with whom I had contact were friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and appeared genuinely interested in their customers' satisfaction. My family has used Joey's Glass several times over the past 20 years and have been constantly pleased with their excellent level of service.”
“I contacted this company for a quote to purchase a window and mirror, and while the installation itself was smooth and the work was well done, the experience was overshadowed by consistently rude receptionists. Each time I called, I felt like I was inconveniencing them. They got frustrated when I asked questions or requested more details about the work. I almost considered requesting a refund because of the poor customer service. It’s disappointing because customers are spending hard-earned money, and basic courtesy should be a given. Whether I was seeking an update or asking for a technician to visit, the responses were always short, rude, and unhelpful. The work was excellent, but the customer service was a major letdown. The work deserves an A+, but the customer service is a solid F+.”
“I had a mobile appointment setup with Joey’s Glass. I called on 10/10 and they were able to set me up the very next day 10/11 for a windshield replacement on my 2005 350z. I was fortunate to have received Michael as my installer. When an installer tells you to be wary of shutting the doors with the windows fully rolled up due to the possibility of the instant air pressure presenting a possibility of moving the windshield that still has its glue curing, you’ve got Damn good installer on your hands. Definitely calling Joeys glass again for future needs and I’m going to be picky and ask for Michael.”
“Thank you for replacing my windshield today! Excellent work!!! Awesome price!!! I really appreciate the fact they came to me to replace it! I think his name was Jordan. ... anyway 10/10 will definitely be recommending everyone I see that needs glass work done! Thank you! I can see out of my windshield again!!❤️❤️”

“My window regulator went out Tuesday night I called them Wednesday morning & they came out the same day . Brandon came out checked my window gave me a price & was amazing he explained everything to me . So they called me to set up to come fix the window and we're able to come the same day but due to my schedule I wouldn't be home so they came out Thursday and fixed it quickly & the tech that came out so super nice as well . Not only did they come to my home and fix my issue but they provided amazing service even the ladies who answer the phone. I'm extremely happy with the service”
“Glass replacement on home windows. Great service excellent work fairly priced.”
“My experience at Joey's glass was absolutely horrible. Once I was informed that my truck was ready I went there to pick it up and it would not start. Seems that 1 of the employees had left my lights on overnight as a result I had to be jump-started just so I could leave the premises. Several days later I had to purchase a battery because obviously they have ruined the one that I had. I have made several calls to this establishment left my number several times and no one has called me which is very unprofessional. I paid a $179 for a battery that I should not have to have paid for. I brought my Vehicle there for the window to be repaired which I paid for with no problem however I didn't realize I would have additional damage. I do not recommend Joey's glass to anyone please find somewhere else to have your vehicle repaired. Also there are several scratches on my tinted glass”
“Had a small chip in the windshield. My insurance company warned that if I made claim, it could effect my rates. Joey's was well within my budget. They got me in immediately for a self-pay. All representatives were polite, courteous & professional.”
“The staff were extremely professional and kind. They had me in and out within 30 minutes. Jeff did a wonderful job fixing my rear view mirror, reattaching the radio wires also. We have been long time customers and I would recommend them to anyone! Thanks, y’all rock!”
“Bought a custom fit shower door from Joey's glass. The glass is beautiful but the fit is NOT. Not sure if it was cut wrong or measured wrong, the insulators say it is the walls that are crooked. The glass door has no gap at the top and the bottom has a 1/4" plus gap. The glass wall piece is touching at the top and bottom but has a 1/4" gap in the middle, which was fill by caulking. If i would have known that the fit was not going to be any better than that i would have just bought at lowes for about 1/3 of the price. The office sent the insulators back out but they say it is the walls and can't fix the issues. Steven Zucha To your response the technician told me there was nothing they could do to fix the issues. I think they could have used some spacers on the door at the bottom so there would have been less of a gap, also would have thought that i would have got a phone call to check on these issues but the only responses was through this rating. Sorry but very unhappy with the customer service that i have received. My salesman was Robert and have not talked to him since the job started. Thanks Steven”
