“If I could give more than 5 stars, I would! My grandparents have been using Hill Country Overhead Door for many years, and they’ve always taken excellent care of them. This week, my grandma’s garage door stopped working, and they were able to send someone out quickly. They replaced the opener, installed new equipment, and had everything working again in no time. Jay and David were both outstanding. They were incredibly kind, professional, and had an amazing work ethic. They took the time to explain exactly what they were doing, how everything worked, and answered any questions along the way. It’s clear they take pride in the quality of their work, and it definitely shows. It’s hard to find companies that consistently provide this level of service year after year, but Hill Country Overhead Door has always done that for my grandparents. We talked about a replacement since we use the garage as our main door and we talked about getting a lot smoother and a LOT less noisy. He suggested their Liftmaster / Chamberlain chain drive setup. “I bought a new garage door from this company on 9-25-25 well today when I came home from lunch the door pins feel out and my door got jammed. Had to call to let them know what happened and Monica charged me A 200.00 fee for an emergency call when I had no choice to get back to work but the work was done badly to begin with.. luckily the tech Jeremy came out and fixed it did not charge me any parts or labor. Since it was not done right in the 1st place. There should not be a charge for work that was done wrong on the 1st place. I would not recommend this company for garage door service or repairs. I will be letting the HOA know as well since that is who they recommend out here. . That is just bad customer service . You should not charge a customer when the work to begin with was not done right.”
